OMNISCIENT

Jungkook, a 26-year old professional homecook, lives with his girlfriend named Tzuyu for almost three years already. They started living together before Tzuyu graduates in college and since she already graduated, her parents gave her permission to live with Jungkook since they've been in a relationship since 10th grade.

It's Wednesday evening and that kind of evening means movie night with each other. Tzuyu is not yet home, for she manages a dog café nearby the university, so Jungkook prepares everything for that night. He came home two hours before Tzuyu can.

As soon as he step foot in the house, he rushed towards the kitchen, so he can start preparing the food that they're to share as they're watching a movie. He rolled up his sleeves, revealing his veiny arms that looks very manly, and opened the top two buttons of his shirt, so his collarbones are now exposed.

He wore the only apron that they have inside their house. It's colored pink and has some Cooky prints on it. He started making some dip for their nachos. Eventually, he became very busy in their kitchen, that he almost forgot that he still has to clean up and prepare the movies that they are to watch.

He hurried and decided to call Tzuyu, "Hey, sweetheart." He smiles.

Tzuyu giggles from the other line, "Hey, honey. I'm just wrapping up the store."

"That's good to hear. I'm expecting you tonight~" He said very fondly, which made his girlfriend laugh pleasingly. "See you, cupcake."

"I love you." She says and he replies with the same context. He ended the phone call and went to shower right away. He usually doesn't wear anything for his top since he's comfortable with only a pair of short pants, but since they'd be cuddling, he decided to wear a onesie. It's a dog onesie, Tzuyu's favorite kind of onesie.

Besides movie night, it's also quite special for them because it's their monthsary. There's no such thing, but they celebrate little things like those even if they grow older.

He then went to the living room to prepare the movie genres he personally picked for the night. Both of them likes action movies, but they decided to watch a romance this time.

He pouted, picking between the compact disks he have, "Hmm. What should we watch?" He asked himself. "Midnight Sun? Crazy Rich Asians?" He was still choosing in between the movies when he heard the doorbell ring, so he placed the disks aside and went to the door to welcome his girlfriend.

He smiled very widely and opened it, only to reveal the only goddess in his life. He spread out his arms and Tzuyu hugged him back as well. "You smell great." Tzuyu commented with her tired voice. Jungkook bit his lower lip since he's pretty concerned of his girlfriend. He would prefer to get some sleep with her than to watch movies.

Jungkook cupped her face and then she yawned, "Let's postpone the movie night." He said and kissed the tip of her nose which made her giggle like a little girl. She rested her head on his chest and they continued to be in a position life that for a few minutes.

The door was kept open, so some of their neighbors saw them. Few strangers also walked past them, thinking why are they hugging each other for quite some time.

"Is there a problem?" Their neighbor whispered to them. Jungkook softly smiled and shook his head no.

He smelled Tzuyu's hair and asked, "Let's go in?"

"Okay." She answered. He took her by the hand and closed the door. Tzuyu saw how much he prepared for that night and the guilty feeling attacked her right away. If she wasn't that tired, she would tell Jungkook not to postpone their movie night together.

Jungkook led her to their bedroom, but she stopped and called his name. He looked back at her and showed his bunny smile that she loved, "Let's not postpone it." She told him. His smile faded instantly and asked her:

"Hey, are you sure?" She nodded and held both of his hands.

"Let's go." She pinched his nose and dragged him with her. They jumped on the couch and she excitedly asked what are they going to watch.

Jungkook was unsure, because he's certain that Tzuyu is tired and she's just doing this for she doesn't want to waste everything that he prepared for her.

Tzuyu smiled with her eyes, "Crazy Rich Asians!" She squealed. Jungkook laughed and took the disk. He played it and then went back to the couch with her.

He placed his left arm on the headrest of the couch and Tzuyu laid her head on it. They started watching the film, as they eat on the popcorn and mac & cheese that Jungkook cooked earlier.

Jungkook was laughing because of the humor of the movie when he heard Tzuyu's small snores. He looked at her and smiled. He took the remote and stopped the film.

Sighing, he carried Tzuyu to their bed softly and soundly. He made sure that she won't wake up. He then went back to the living room to clean their mess.

After cleaning everything, he turned the white lights off and opened the yellow lights instead. Tzuyu has constantly reminded him not to turn all the lights off because she gets scared whenever she wakes up in the middle of the night.

He entered their bedroom and found Tzuyu on the exact same spot where he left her. It's as if she didn't move while sleeping.

Jungkook stretched out his back before crawling to their bed. He kissed Tzuyu on her nose before closing his eyes.

He honestly didn't expect things to turn that way for tonight, but seeing Tzuyu come home to his arms make him feel true happiness. Tzuyu really is the reason why he wants to wake up in the morning and go on with life despite every bad thing that he's experiencing.

As long as he's with Tzuyu, everything is going to be fine.
