" you are going on a class trip for the week " mom explained

Amelia's POV 

" what really?" I asked 

" yes really u better get to packing babe." My mom said

I grabbed my empty Louis Vuitton suitcase I thru my whole closet in.

As soon it was 6am I climbed out of bed rolling my bag down the stairs.

I put the big heavy bag in my car I drove early Mrs. Kankakee looked at me with a dirty look.

" that's a little bit fancy" Mrs. Kankakee raised her Eye brow.

"I guess" I shrugged 

I walked to the lunch area where the plan would be loading.

" first class is 50 dollars." The principal said.

" uh I'll pay!" I shrugged giving him my money.

I boarded in first class Brooklyn sat next to me.

" hey Reyna!" Brooklyn waved at Reyna across 

" hi Brooklyn!" She replied 

" excuse me Mr. Jackson could I switch?" Brooklyn asked 

" I guess so." He shrugged 

Reyna sat next to Brooklyn as I sat alone i kicked my feet back I fell asleep the whole ride.

We landed in Tahoe finally it was snowy I quickly changed into my snow suit walking it the big cabin with 7 rooms and one bed there was 7 of us on the trip since the rest of 11th grade was late.

I planned to share a room with reyna since we were practically besties.

" well Im gonna pair everyone up." Mr. Jackson said

" Reyna Amelia "Mr. Jackson 

" Brooklyn Zane."

"Michelle Jenny "

" Erinx Sophia"

" Lariyah Kendall." 

"Yay!" Kendall screamed

I went into the room we had a view of snow.

" hey Amelia I'm having a potery reading in town are u coming?" She asked

" of course!" I replied 

I went downstairs seeing erinx looking in the window.

" hey." I said to him appearing on the side

" oh hey Amelia." Erinx said

" so uh do u wanna go in the snow with me?" I asked him smiling 

" of course!" He replied

I put on my snow suit on and my ugg boots.

I walked in that hard cold sand as erinx held my hand I smiled looking at him directly.

I balled up a snow ball.

" SNOW FIGHT!" Erinx called

We played for about 10 minutes I was about to throw another then I heard crying in the bushes.

" do u hear that?" I asked erinx

" yeah I do it sounds like a dog." He said walking towards the bush.

There was baby husky crying luckily he was okay.

I quickly ran to the bush getting on my knees picking up the husky.

" it's so beautiful." I glared at it.

" I think it needs to be nursed back to health." Erinx said worrying about the little thing

" I wanna keep it!" I whispered holding it protecting it.

" well I guess so. But what will we name it?" Erinx asked

" wynther" I said

Wynthers paw touched the snow I let him go from my hands but he layed in the snow.

I put my hand out as he touched my hand.

We went inside the cabin nobody was home yay! 

" so erinx we need to buy him a bed and food! Could u look in town!" I asked

" yes ma"am" he said

I put wynther in a little basket of my clothes I didn't really fit I covered him with a blanket.

Then I slightly remembered i had missed REYNAS POEM!

Reynas POV.

I can't believe it my best friend Amelia didn't  show up!

I had a seat for her and everything.

But Brooklyn was there standing in the back looking at me smiling,

I felt like Amelia betrayed me but there was no going back.

The poem ~

The Years have passed by,
In the blink of an eye,
Moments of sadness,
And joy have flown by.

Amelia's POV 

I fed him some dog food as soon as he fell asleep I closed the door.

Reyna walked in the house.

" Reyna can we talk?" I asked her

" talk about what." She scoffed 

" look Im sorry for not coming. I had-" Amelia said before she was interrupted 

" it's all about u huh! sorry isn't enough I really needed u amelie." Reyna said calling her by the nickname when she gave when they were little.

" Brooklyn actually showed up at least." Reyna scoffed 

" sorry." I said

" Amelia." Reyna locked eyes with me

" yes?" I asked

" why is everything about u?" She asked me

" it's not." I replied 

" Well u didn't show up to my poetry reading?" She said

" well I had-" I said before I was cut off.

" exactly Amelia." Reyna said

She frowned at me.

" I'm switching rooms"Reyna said as she raised her eyebrow.

" but-" I said

" no buts!" Reyna said

She bend down picking up and rolling her suitcase to Brooklyn's room.

I walked down the hall, to Brooklyn's room.

I put my ear to the door I heard loud music.

I knocked.

Brooklyn answered the door.

" Amelia what are u doing here?" She asked

" I wanted to tell Reyna something." I scoffed 

" Reyna!" Brooklyn yelled.

Reyna appeared at the side of the door.

" hey can we talk?" I asked her

" yeah sure." She said surprisingly 

She closed the door behind her.

" so what is there to talk about?" She asked

" look I'm sorry I didn't come to your potery reading." You could see the sadness in my eyes as I spoke.

" why didn't u come?" She asked doing a weird hand gesture.

" I rescued a puppy." I told her putting my hands behind my back looking down.

" what do u mean?" Her voice got lower.

"I'll show u." I said

I pulled her hand to my room to the closet.

" look in there." I told her.

" okay.." she said 

She opened the closet seeing wynther. 

"Oh my god." She said picking up wynther.

" he's so cute." She squeezed him

" why didn't u tell me!" She yelled 

" I tried to tell u!" I scoffed 

" what's going on!" Lariyah and Kendall and Sophia said as they rushed in!

"My bestie rescued a puppy!" She said showing wynther off like a trophy

" so we're cool?" I asked smiling

" of course." Reyna said

" but I'm sorry for being over dramatic." She told me.

" group hug?" Lariyah asked

" bring it in!" I smiled

" I love you guys." Kendal laughed

"Love you to." Sophia said

Michelle's POV

"Mom my husky's missing!"I panicked

"Your husky that ugly thing." She rolled her eyes

"She's not ugly mom she's the only thing I have."I screamed 

"Whatever" she walked off 

"Katrinaaaaa!" I said shaking the treats

I looked everywhere behind the couch every single spot Katrina was gone.
