Alex's POV

After Blake gave us the finger we left and went downstairs "Blake and Carley are so cute" jack says "I know, their like sisters, they only had each other in the orphanage" I say "yeah, when I first went up, I walked into Blake's room her head snapped to me and she pulled Carley closer to her to protect her" he says "yeah, Blake's really protective of her" I say "so what are we gonna do tomorrow?" He asks "I wanna spend some quality time with Blake" I say "same, I wanna get to know Carley more" he says "rad" I say "but I can't believe how protective Blake is over Carley" he says "I have my reasons" we hear Blake say and we turn and see her "Blake! When did you get down here?" I ask "just a minute ago" she says "but why are you so protective of her?" Jack asks "cuz Carley got adopted once but it didnt last long, the asshole that adopted her absued her, raped her and sold her body to other men, as soon as I heard what happened I snuck out the orphanage and beat the guy senseless. I promised to protect her from then on" she says threw grit teeth

"Blake?" We hear Carley call "I'll be up in a minute" Blake calls up "ok" she calls back down. "Barakat I trust you and lex I trust you, but if Carley ever comes to me saying that either of you made her cry or hurt her in anyway, you'll have hell to pay" she says then turns and walks back upstairs. "Damn, she can be scary when she wants to be" jack says "yeah, but she just wants to make sure Carley doesnt get hurt again" I say "yeah, I mean I can't believe she went through that and shes still the bubbly, sweet and innocent girl she is" he says "thats cuz Blake was there to help her" I say and he nods

Blake's POV

After talking to the guys I walk back up to my room and I see Carley on the bed "good morning" I say "morning?" She asks and I smile and nod "go back to your room and take a shower ok?" I say and she nods, she stands up and hugs me tightly and I hug her back "thank you, for protecting me" she says and I smile "no problem" I say and pull away, she smiles and walks into her room and I sigh and sit on my bed with my head in my hands "hey, everything ok?" I hear lex say and I feel the bed dip next to me "I'm scared Alex, she's having nightmares again" I say and he puts his hand on mine "is it about what happened?" He asks and I nod "I dont know how to stop them, its like she has to relive it and I'm not there to stop it" I say "Blake, hun you can't blame yourself for this, what happened wasn't your fault and it never will be" he says and pulls me into his chest "lex?" I ask "yeah?" He says "I'm scared, I don't want her to start self harming again" I whimper "I almost lost her once I'm not gonna lose her again" I whimper

"Blake, I know its very scary, really I do but you two aren't alone now, you have me and Carley has jack, I also have Carley's back and jack has yours, and if she does relapse them we'll help her through it" he says softly "alex, she was hospitalized for attempted suicide, I almost lost her" I whisper as tears roll down my face "sweet pea, I know its hard to see her going through this, but you can't keep blaming yourself, your gonna end up driving yourself into depression, Carley doesn't blame you" he says "I'm scared I'll lose her" I sob and he tightens his grip on me and runs his fingers through my hair "you won't, I get that this is scary for you hun, but again we're gonna help her through this and she's strong, with Alex, you and me by her side she'll pull through" he says "I know, but when she was in hospital they said she only had a 20% chance of living, I thought I was gonna lose the only girl I cared about, I was so scared that I'd lose her" I sob "shhhhh Blake hunnie, you seriously need to stop stressing about this, your gonna make yourself ill, I know its scary but me and jack are here for the both of you ok?" He says

I nod and keep close to him "can we stay like this for a little longer?" I whisper "of course" he whispers back and cuddles me into his Chest. We stay like that for a good 10 minutes just hugging "I need to get ready" I whisper "ok, call me back up when your done, I have a present for you" he whispers and kisses my head, I smile and he walks out. I stand up and go to my draws and pull out a random outfit, some shoes as well as a choker and I start to get dressed. I put my hair up and put a bit if eyeliner on and look in the mirror

"Good enough" I mutter and I walk out my room and downstairs "jack?" I call and Carley runs over

"hey! Lex and jack have gifts for us!" She squeals and I smile as she pulls me to the living room and we sit on the couch "ok, so who likes cats?" Jack asks and Carley gasps and squeals "me! I love cats!" She squeals and I smile at her "well here you go" he says and puts a box on her lap, she carefully opens it and gasps, she picks up a Grey kitten

Out the box "awwww!" She coos "is it male or female?" She asks "female" he says "what are you gonna name her?" I ask "button" she says and I smile "it suits her" I say and she giggles and pets her "thank you jack, I love her" she says and hugs jack, he chuckles and kisses her head "no problem CC" he says "anyways, I want to spend the day with you today so you up for it?" He asks "yeah! Can I take button to?" She asks "yeah, we're gonna be hanging in my room" he says and I smile at him "sweet!! Thanks jack!" She chirps and I smile as they walk up to their room

"So, where's mine Lexington?" I ask in a joking manor "right here love, you like dogs right?" He asks and I nod and he places a big box on the floor imfromt of me, I kneel down and open the lid and I gasp as my eyes widen and I pick the puppy up

"Oh my god! Lex thank you so much" I say as I hold the bundle of fur to my chest "girl or boy?" I ask "girl" he says "what you naming her?" He asks "pepper" I say and she looks up at me "looks like she likes it" he says and I grin "we need to get her a collar and a bed, toys" I ramble and he laughs "we'll do all that tomorrow, now let's go up to my room" he says and I nod and stand up while still holding pepper to my chest and we walk up. Once we get up to his room I put pepper on his bed and I sit next to her, she snuggles up to me and I smile "so, what we doing Lexington?" I ask as he smiles at me "well I wanted to take you out for lunch" he says and I smile "free food? I'm up for that" I say and he chuckles "yeah its free for you and your mutt but I have to pay" he says and I laugh "pepper is not a mutt, shes my baby and I love her" I say as put my hands under her chin And i kiss her nose, she wags her tail and licks my cheek and I giggle

"Can we go to subway?" I ask and he nods "can we take pepper?" I ask "we dont have a leash or a coller for her" he says "so? We can go to a local pet shop first, get the stuff we need then go get food" I say "please?" I ask as I do puppy eyes "uuugh fiiiiine! Those puppy eyes always get me" he says and I squeal and hug him "thanks alex!" I squeal and he laughs and hugs back. I pick pepper up "pepper? I need you to stay in my backpack for now ok? You can stick your head out, we're just getting you a collar and a leash ok?" I say and she barks "good girl" I say and I open my backpack, she happily jumps in and pokes her head out and I giggle, I kiss her nose and zip it up just so she doesn't fall out but I leave room for her head to poke out, I stand up and put the backpack on,i slip my shoes on and I walk downstairs with alex. He gets his shoes on and I take ahold of his hand, he smiles and laces our fingers together as we walk down to the pet store.

Once we get there me and lex go to the collars and leash's, we get there and I put my backpack down, i open it and pepper jumps out "ok girl, what collar do you want?" I ask and she barks and walks to a white one, she picks it up in her mouth and brings it to me, she drops it in front of me, sits down and wags her tail. I pick up the collar and I smile, I put it on her to make sure it fits "aww she likes it" he says and I smile "it suits her" I say "ok girl, go find a leash" I say and she scampers off, she picks up a similar white leash and brings it back "ok, this it is" I say as I take the collar off her and I pet her "nice work girl, when we get back I'll give you a treat, but go find a bed girl, go!" I say and she once again scampers off and we run after her but she goes past the beds and to some tags, she picks up a pack and Come's back to me, she drops it and I pick it up "good job pepper" I say as I look at it "she dont need a bed, she can stay with me" I say I hand the stuff to Alex and I pick pepper up "you ready to pay?" He asks and I nod keeping pepper close to me.

We walk in line and an old woman glares at me and I shrink back as pepper growls at her "pepper its ok bud" I say and pet her head "is there a reason your glaring at my daughter?" Alex asks as he pulls us into his side "yes, a young lady shouldn't be dressing like that and have hair like that" she says while shooting me a dirty look "excuse me, but my daughter can dress and have her hair any way she wants, it makes her happy so I'm fine with it, what she does with her hair and how she dresses doesn't effect you in any way, so if you wouldn't mind, stop glaring at my daughter" he growls and she scoffs and walks out as pepper growls at her. We pay for the stuff and I look at what we have (At the top) I put pepper down "sit girl" I say and she sits, I kneels down and put the collar on her then attach the tag then the leash, I put the matching necklace on and I stand up "you ready?" He asks and I nod as I slip the loop of the leash on my wrist "ok pepper let's go princess" I say and she barks, she stands up as we walk to subway

This is gonna be awesome
