Today's the day. The day school finishes. I'm sitting here watching some guys play soccer while all of my friends are planning, the last day of school performance I'm not really the type of girl to plan stuff like that I ALWAYS end up having bad ideas or in general just space out because I'm bored. I'm the layed back kinda girl who doesn't do things that don't concern her, yeah I know, selfish, right? But, seriously though, it's who I am... What am i supposed to do about it? Time flies and then I hear someone call me about 10 times.

"Hey, Sam!! Sam? hello? SAM!!"

I suddenly look up and I see Kyle. The guy I've liked ever since 7th grade... We always talked until I accidentally spilled my feeling towards him and he turned me down. Since then I've never had the guts to talk to him and know he is talking to me! I look up at his hazel eyes, "Uh... hi."

"Can you please pass me the ball?" he shouts.

Of course, Mr.Popular just wanted the ball, jee-I'm so smart. He just wanted the ball he'd never want to talk to me. I'm just Sam Reed and he's captain of the soccer team. I kick the ball back to him when I suddenly see him wink at me and say thanks... Wait, what? Did Kyle just wink at me? I look back to see if there was another girl behind but there was just a big tree. So, my crush just winked at me. Who am I kidding, that wink was totally meant for the tree.

I suddenly get up and go see what my friends are up to. I walk in the art class and see all my friends.

My best friend Kat, she's probably one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever met. She has black long hair. She's skinny but with curves in all the right places and beautiful blue eyes. Then there's Courtney, she's short, a curly haired read head and has deep green eyes, she's beautiful. Then there's Chloe. Chloe has shoulder length blonde hair. She's skinny and has brown eyes and if I might add she's obsessed with shopping. I feel so uncomfortable around them. I mean they're all so gorgeous and I'm... Well me. I'm skinny with no curves, I'm blonde with brown eyes and tan. I'm not going to say I'm ugly, I don't want it to sound like I'm fishing for compliments but I definitely don't pass as a VS model, like them. "Hey. how's it all going?" I say. Oh, ignored. I see how it is. too busy, huh? "Hello?" I sigh. They're not answering so I decide to sit right next to them when finally Kat looks up and notices me.

"Hey sexy!" Kat says, like I haven't been standing there for 10 minutes.

I give her a death glare but she just smirks it off. "Anyway, You guys done? I'm really hungry. We should go get a bight!"

"Sorry Sam, we can't we have to Finnish this... sorry''.

"Oh, ok. It's alright" I smile and say my goodbyes. I walk outside, and call my dad to come and pick me up but he doesn't answer the phone. So I decide to wait for the girls to finish. I've been sitting here for about an hour and they're still not finished. I see Kyle walking up to me.. jee, this should be interesting.

"Hey, need a ride?"

Kyle smiles and my heart drops... Not in the good way. He's the last person I want to see. Please don't screw things up, Sam..

A/N: Hey! New book! So I wrote this chapter a looooong time ago and never finished the book :( Sad I know. I've just been really busy... But, I'm gonna start writing again and I'd really like to actually accomplish something this year :P
