It hurts
It hurts

It was rainy. His phone screen told him, that just ten minutes passed since he had come here, but just because he was looking towards it so much, every minute felt like weeks.
If anyone had watched him, for longer than a minute, they must have thought he was insane, since he kept putting his phone away and pulling it out again, just to check the time once more.
He had gotten there quite a bit too, early since he didn't want to risk missing even a second of his date with Beom.
But things don't usually work out the way you want them to. Especially if you look forward to them too much. And that's just the way it was this time aswell. Minutes passed by and Beom still hadn't turned up.
Maybe he was held up, Jimin thought to himself, pulling his jacket closer to his body. He couldn't miss Beom, which is why he didn't enter one of the cafés, looking for shelter of the cold. Beom was going to turn up any moment.
Another thirty minutes passed and by now Jimin was shaking slightly, clutching the jacket that was useless, being wet itself, to his body.
Couples were walking all over the place, only making Jimin feel lonelier. Surely Beom would appear soon. There probably was too much traffic or his boss asked him to stay a bit longer. He wouldn't leave Jimin out there without a reason.
He wasn't perfect, but he loved Jimin. That's what Jimin was certain about.
Another hour passed by, without Jimin even realizing it. By now he couldn't even feel his fingers. He wasn't aware of the fact that he was crying. Tears streaming down his cheeks, mixing with the rain still falling down.
Beom just had a lot to do. He was going be here anytime now. Jimin was sure... at least that's what he was trying to convince himself of, but the truth was he had known Beom wasn't going to turn up, the moment he sat down on the bench.
His eyes were glued to the ground as he bit his lip holding back.
Beom kept saying nobody would ever love Jimin, but him, but the question that had been in the back of Jimin's mind, kept creeping to surface. Did Beom even love him, like he said?
There were steps coming closer, before stopping right in front of him.
"Jimin?"
Jimin felt like bursting into tears, when his last bit of hope was destroyed, as he looked up and the eyes he was looking into weren't Beom's but instead Yoongis.
"Yeah?" He managed to sound okay, aside from the fact that his whole body was shaking and entirely soaked. His brown bangs were glued to his forehead.
The older stretched out his hand a sad smile on his lips. "Stand up..." He ordered, Jimin automatically following his order.
"Can I have your phone?"
