Erza's POV

Monday. A new week, a new start. This week's resolution: listen to what Jellal has to say. I was being inconsiderate and didn't even get his side of the story. I might not forgive him but I need to hear him out. It was early in the morning and I was just listening to music in the library.

"Hey Erza" Lucy came and sat in the seat next to me.

I took my earphones out and put them in my pocket. "Hi Lucy."

Lucy sighed. "Erza, you really need to give Jellal a chance."

That was what I was planning on doing... but I don't know if I can anymore. I just looked away silently.

"You can't hide away from it. You'll have to know sooner or later. Besides, I know you're still in love with Jellal, I can see it in your eyes. You shouldn't deny your feelings; you should go talk to him and get together again" Lucy said.

I sighed knowing she was right. "Well, what do I do?"

"You talk to him" she answered. Her gaze then went to the left of me. "He's coming now."

I instantly paled. I desperately wanted to turn around to see him but I just looked at Lucy with a panicked face. She gave me an encouraging smile and told me to go to him.

"Hi Lucy, Hi Erza" Jellal came into view and I sucked in a breath. Lucy sent me a sly grin before excusing herself to the bathroom.

"Jellal, we need to talk" I said.

He nodded and we walked outside. I chose a quiet and shady place on a bench under a tree. We sat down and silence filled the air. Great, how do I start a conversation? I nervously fiddled with my fingers and just stared at a really interesting blade of grass.

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Jellal asked the obvious question. We both knew what I wanted to talk about.

"I'm sorry" I blurted. Wow, way to go Erza. I tucked a strand of my red hair behind my ear and looked up at Jellal who was watching me.

"No, I'm the one who should be sorry."

I shook my head. "No, I am. I just assumed things without letting you tell me what really happened. So, what did happen?"

"Well, I was heading over to the restaurant - in a fine suit might I add, when some guys ambushed me. They knocked me out and when I woke up, I was tied to a chair and Zeref and Zancrow were in front of me. They were threatening to hurt you if I didn't join them so I... I joined them" Jellal told me.

"What?! You shouldn't just agree to them if I'm on the line. You know I can take care of myself."

"But, I have a plan" Jellal said quieter after he glanced around. "I don't know for sure what's going to happen but I'll be working as a double agent. On Friday, I'm going with them to get some drugs from this guy. I'm going to call the police and then they will catch Zeref and his gang with the drugs so they'll go to jail."

After hearing his idea, I thought it was a great plan and I was definitely going with him. I felt so bad knowing that he did get beaten up and was kidnapped. This is why I should have listened to him and shouldn't have been stupid. I was probably the worst girlfriend right now.

"I'm so sorry" I whispered as I hugged Jellal. Tears escaped my eyes but Jellal brushed them away.

"I forgive you" Jellal said.

"I forgive you too" I pecked his lips.

"So... we all good?" Jellal checked.

"Definitely" I grinned.

I was now in art class with Jellal and after this, we had lunch. Our teacher, Mr Reedus, wrote our instruction on the board and got out some paper.

"Alright class, we have some important stuff to do. On Friday, we have our school fair! Our class was asked to do the posters so I would like you to paint and decorate them however you want. You may work in groups and the information you need on them is on the board. I need some people to do banners so if you are interested, please come and see me" Mr Reedus instructed.

I got some paper and paint and thought of some designs.

"Can we work together?" Jellal asked.

"Sure" I replied.

We then shared our ideas and started painting. After we did a couple, we went and painted a banner for the fair. It was finally lunch time when we finished painting. We packed the art equipment away and went to a table in the cafeteria. It was a normal lunchtime, the cheerleaders flirting with the jocks and us, just hanging out. One thing that stood out was that Zancrow was always watching Jellal but I just shrugged it off.

"Shut up, Ice Princess!" Natsu shouted.

"Flame Brain!" Gray retorted.

"Stripper!"

My head started pounding and in a swift movement, I stood up and bashed their heads together. Violent, I know, but they survive.

"Can you two shut up?" I muttered. I sat back down and ate my lunch. A minute later, Juvia came over to our table and sat next to me. She silently ate her lunch without looking at anyone. Sometimes she was weird like that.

"Hi Juvia. What are you doing here?" I asked.

She blushed and looked up at me. "Gray-sama."

I smirked. Across the table, Gray and Natsu were on the floor fighting, too busy to notice Juvia. Everyone knew how much she liked him and I thought they would be a great couple. It was time to set them up.

"You should ask him out" I encouraged her. She shook her head shyly but anyone could tell she was dying to.

"GRAY! NATSU! STOP FIGHTING!" I yelled.

"Yes, ma'am" they immediately sat up.

I rolled my eyes but nudged Juvia slightly. When she didn't budge, I elbowed her harder.

"Ow" she rubbed her side and then sighed. "Um, um, Gray-sama... willyougooutwithme?"

"What?" Gray asked confused. I face palmed.

"Will you go out with me?" she asked again. She had a hopeful look in her eyes and her smile could light up anyone's day. Not to sound weird, but she's really pretty and I don't know who wouldn't go out with her. If Gray refused, I would punch him in the face. I couldn't see my friend get her heart broken.

"Sure" Gray replied.

Just one word. It made Juvia squeal with delight and hearts appeared in her eyes. Even though Gray sounded like he was playing it cool, I could tell in his eyes that there was more. Like, he had feelings for Juvia and he was nervous around her but pretended not to be. Juvia jumped on Gray and hugged him tight. He was trying to push her off but like I said, we all know he likes her.

"Would you like to jump on me?" Jellal asked with a smirk.

"In your dreams" I rolled my eyes.

"Trust me, it's already in my dreams" Jellal grinned.

I playfully slapped his arm and then kissed him. He caressed my cheek as he kissed me back. Then I just leaned my head on his shoulder as we watched Juvia talk to Gray. They were such a great couple, Natsu and Lucy were such a great couple, and if only we were a great couple without all our problems.

Now that Juvia was getting with Gray, I had to figure out my love life. Sure, it's really good but it's not perfect. When we finish things with Zeref on Friday, everything will be fine. Everything will be back to normal, I hope. Jellal and I together, just like we're meant to be.
