Erza's POV

Remember my idea about a girl's night? Well, the girls liked my idea and so that was what we were doing now on a Tuesday night. It was me, Lucy, Mirajane, Juvia, Levy and Cana. So far, we had done our nails and had pizza for dinner. Now we were in the living room deciding what to do next.

"I'm full" Levy announced while patting her tummy.

"Seriously? We haven't even had the midnight snacks" Juvia said.

"I'm full too but I wouldn't mind more beer" Cana added. She sat on the floor with a big beer barrel next to her.

"I know! Let's watch a movie and I'll go get the snacks" Mirajane suggested and we all nodded.

While she was gone, we debated on what to watch. There were four movies that we picked, they were the usual chick flicks movies. We put in one of the discs and then Mirajane returned. She had a bowl of chips, ice cream, chocolate, and soft drink.

"Now let's get full and unhealthy!" Mirajane cheered.

She put the food on the table and sat down on the couch next to me. Everyone was on the couch except for Cana and Juvia, who was on a beanbag. We watched three movies, finished all the snacks and it was somewhere around midnight. Levy fell asleep and Cana passed out, probably from all that beer and junk food.

"Ne, what should we do now?" I asked with a yawn at the end.

"We could sleep?" Juvia suggested.

"No way. That's not what people do on a girl's night. Let's do 'truth or dare'" Lucy said.

"Okay, I'll go first. Erza, truth or dare?" Mirajane asked me. I thought about it. Well, I didn't want to do something embarrassing but I didn't want to say anything embarrassing.

"Truth" I decided.

"Are you in love with Jellal?" Mirajane grinned. I immediately blushed.

"That wasn't a good one, Mirajane. We all know that Erza loves Jellal" Lucy said but Mirajane said she wanted to hear it from me. The girls eagerly looked at me for my answer. Sigh.

"Yes, I'm in love with him" I said softly. This caused the girls to squeal.

"Hey, are you guys free this Friday?" Juvia asked out of the blue. "Lyon invited me to a pool party and I invited Gray but I was wondering if you guys wanted to come."

"Sure, I'm free" Lucy said.

"Me too" Mirajane chirped. They turned to me and I started to blush.

"Umm... well, I've got a date with Jellal" I admitted.

Yeah, he asked me out earlier today. Juvia said it was alright and they gushed over how sweet Jellal and I were. We then started talking about boys and random things. One by one, we fell asleep. Soon, it was me and Mirajane left.

"Goodnight Mirajane" I yawned.

"Goodnight Erza" Mirajane smiled and laid her head down.

I got into a comfortable position as well and sleep engulfed me quickly.

The sun shone its bright rays through the curtain and woke me up. I yawned and stretched before getting off the... couch? I thought I was in my bed. The memories of last night came back and I glanced around the messy lounge room. Lucy, Mirajane and Levy were still on the couch while Juvia and Cana were sprawled on the ground. I checked the clock and my eyes widened with realisation.

"Everyone! Get up! School starts in a few minutes" I yelled and hopped off the couch.

All at once, all the girls jumped up and started running around like headless chickens. It was such a bad idea to have a girl's night on a school day. Geez, whose idea was this? Oh yeahhhh... it was mine.

"Quick, where's my school uniform?" Lucy asked frantically.

"I'm so tired" Cana whined.

"I've got a test in first class" Levy panicked.

I rolled my eyes and went to change. It was a while before we had everything sorted and were out the door. But eventually, we made it to school one minute late.

"Pay attention, Erza!" the teacher shouted.

My head quickly snapped up to look at my substitute teacher. Our usual maths teacher was away so we had a different teacher, who was very strict and mean.

"Detention for falling asleep in class" he declared.

"What?!" I demanded. "That's not fair."

"Afterschool detention only, but if you want, I can extend it to this whole week" our teacher threatened and I shrunk back.

How evil is that? Totally evil. I opened up my mouth to protest but he gave me another warning glare. He went on with teaching and I slumped in defeat. First time I got detention. I sighed and rested my chin on my hand. This was going to be a horrible day, I could just feel it. It wasn't my fault that I didn't get any sleep last night because we had a girl's night. Actually, it is my fault.

By the time lunch came around, I was still tired and dreading afterschool detention. Detention goes for an hour and it's really boring.

"Where's Jellal?" I suddenly asked.

Ultear and Meredy stopped eating their sandwiches and looked at each other. They shrugged before facing me.

"I'm not sure, we didn't have the last class with him. Maybe he went to the bathroom" Ultear suggested in a joking way. I thought about it for a bit.

"Hmm... I'm gonna go look for him" I stood up.

"Erza misses Jellal. How sweet" Lucy cooed.

Ever since Ultear and Meredy joined our table, Lucy had gotten pretty close with them and joined in on teasing me. Natsu and Gray sometimes talked to Jellal but right now they were having a fight between each other. It seemed strange that Jellal wasn't here yet and if he went to the bathroom, he would be back by now, right? Ignoring Lucy's words, I marched off towards the boys' bathroom to find my boyfriend.

"Leave me alone. You are becoming annoying" I heard a soft voice say. It sounded familiar but I couldn't put my finger on it because they were far away.

I quietly followed the voices and found them behind the boys' bathroom in a deserted area. Zeref stood with his back to me and Jellal was facing my way, like last time. I hid behind the wall but occasionally sneaked a peek.

"But you know that you belong with us. I know that you have dealt with drugs and do you remember the boy you killed? The innocent boy you murdered when you were younger?" Zeref asked maliciously.

Jellal's eyes widened a fraction but he tried to keep a blank face. "I'm not joining and that's final."

"You are putting your loved ones on the line. If you don't agree to what I say, who knows? Your girlfriend and friends might be dead the next day" Zeref threatened.

"You wouldn't" Jellal said.

"Oh, I would. Now think hard about that" Zeref started to walk away from Jellal but stopped. "Good bye Jellal. See you at detention, Erza."

How did he know I was there and that I had detention? I looked around the wall but he was gone.

"Jellal-" I started.

"Don't worry about me. I promised you I wouldn't" he quickly reminded me. I nodded and we went back to our table of friends who were probably worried.

Detention. The worst thing at school. You just sit there, do your homework for an hour and the teachers supervising are always the worst. Not to mention, Zeref was in detention as well as some guys from his gang.

"Alright. Do your homework and behave" the teacher, Crux, grumbled and fell asleep.

I sighed but got out my book to do my homework. I had maths and science homework so it wasn't a lot. My whole page was covered in equations and my brain started to shut down. I closed my book and put it back in my bag.

"Erza, how is your boyfriend?" Zeref asked as he sidled up to my desk.

"What do you want now?" I narrowed my eyes at him.

"I simply wanted to know the answer to my question" he replied.

"Jellal doesn't appreciate you bothering him and I don't either" I said.

"I don't get why you're with someone like him. After all, you went to the same primary school as him and know that he did drugs. In fact, you saw him murder that innocent kid. Poor, poor, kid" Zeref pretended to wipe away a tear.

I gritted my teeth. I remember it clearly. Jellal dealing with drugs, always getting into fights and killing that little boy. After he murdered the kid, he noticed me watching and even punched me, it was horrible. He was a different person then and he's changed now. My heart ached as I thought of my boyfriend who I now loved. 

"Leave us alone, Zeref. Jellal is different now and doesn't need your little gang" I stood up and glared at Zeref.

"Hey! Back off, Scarlet!" Zancrow, who was in Zeref's gang, shouted and approached us.

He stood next to Zeref and was about to say something but Zeref put up his hand to stop him. Zeref and I had a glaring competition before he stopped to smirk at me. Then Crux woke up and told everyone to leave. The other people in detention walked out happily while I remained with Zeref and Zancrow.

"Come on! Get out!" Crux yelled and left the room.

Zancrow walked out and Zeref followed shortly, but not before pausing by my side.

"Just know this: I always get what I want" he whispered and disappeared out the door.
