Erza's POV

Remember what we said we were going to do in the holidays? No? Well, Lucy organised for us to go to Magnolia Amusement Park. A lot of people were going, including Sabertooth students like Sting. It was going to be an awesome day, apart from the fact that Jellal wasn't coming with us. He was probably going to go with his other friends. After we paid for the tickets, Lucy, Natsu, Gray, Juvia and I walked through the gates. The park was huge. That's all I could say.

"Wow! This is so exciting!" Natsu screamed as he started jumping around.

I chuckled to myself. It was funny how he was so childish. As we walked around the amusement park, I saw Lucy and Natsu together and Gray and Juvia together. When Jellal was here and Juvia wasn't, Gray was like the fifth wheel but now I am.

"Where should we go first?" Gray asked.

"We should go on the Ferris wheel, Gray-sama!" Juvia had hearts in her eyes, probably thinking of being alone with Gray.

"Nah, let's go get fairy floss!" Natsu shouted.

So we went to the cotton candy stand and bought some to share. We pulled the sweet treat from the stick and stuffed them in our mouths, filling our taste buds with the sugary taste. Walking along while eating, we decided to just play the stall games before going on any big rides.

"This one! This one! I want to win that dragon!" Natsu yelled. Notice how his sentences always end in an exclamation mark? Yeah, he's pretty loud.

It was a game where there were cans stacked in a pyramid and you had to knock them down with a ball. We all paid for it and lined up. I aimed at the cans and concentrated really hard. 1, 2, 3- ahh! I counted 1, 2, 3 in my head but got tapped on the shoulder by someone, causing me to fling the ball in a random direction and that direction ended up to be Natsu's face.

"Oh my god! Natsu! I'm so sorry!" I shouted and rushed over to nurse his bruised face which had a bi bump.

"It's okay! I'm alright" Natsu gave me a thumbs up with a closed eye smile.

Then I thought back to the person who tapped me. I turned around angrily, with steam coming out my ears.

"Who ruined my perfect shot?" I death glared.

"Geez Erza, it was me" said. . . Kagura.

"Oh my god! Kagura, I missed you so much!" I cried and hugged her tightly.

"Erza, I need, to, breathe" Kagura struggled to breathe and pulled away annoyed. "But I did miss you."

"I'm here too" Millianna piped up from behind Kagura.

Arana, Beth and Risley were there as well. It looked like other people had the same idea of coming to the amusement park, since it was the grand opening. I didn't realise it was this busy; so we'll probably run into more people we know. Millianna wrapped her arms around me and I said 'hi' to the other Mermaid Heel girls.

"Hey! Are you going to play the game or not?!" the game booth owner yelled.

Oops! I guess we were so caught up in the reunion that we forgot about the game and there was a line waiting behind us. So I went back to hitting down the pyramid of cans and the others finished there 3 turns. Juvia didn't win anything but Gray gave her the big husky soft toy he won. Natsu got into a big tantrum from not winning but Lucy gave him the big, red dragon soft toy she won. And me, I won myself a small, blue wolf plushy.

"Let's go on that rollercoaster next!" Natsu shouted as he pointed at the biggest rollercoaster.

It was huge and very long with lots of twists and turns upside down. I don't think it would be a good idea for Natsu to go on it since he gets motion sick but no one can stop him when he wants to do something. He ran towards the ride and we all lined up.

"Oh, you guys are here too" Gajeel said.

I didn't notice him before but it looks like he was in front of us in the line with Levy.

"What are you doing here? I thought you get motion sick" Natsu said confused and I mentally face palmed.

"What am I doing here? What are you doing here? You get motion sick as well" an irk mark appeared on Gajeel's forehead.

"Well well, look who it is" a male voice said from behind us.

Guess who? I turned around and was met with...

Sting. As usual, his face wore a cocky smirk and his blonde hair was gelled up handsomely. Beside him was Rogue, Minerva and Yukino.

"Eh? You're here too?" Natsu asked, which annoyed Sting.

"What does that mean?" Sting leaned his face closer to Natsu's.

"It means that you're not wanted here!" Natsu smirked.

"Well, then you're not wanted here either!" Sting retorted.

"That doesn't even make sense!"

"Yes it does!"

"No it doesn't! You don't make sense!"

"Well, you can't even English!" Sting grinned smugly.

Why are boys so annoying (and stupid, no offense)? Like I do with Natsu and Gray, I bashed Natsu's and Sting's heads together.

"Let's just go on the ride without you two bickering. It's almost our turn" I told them.

Sure enough, the line had moved forward a lot and the guy working the ride let us through the gate. The ride was two people in a carriage and there were six carriages. We were paired like this: Natsu and Lucy; Gray and Juvia; Sting and Yukino; Rogue and Minerva; Gajeel and Levy; Me and . . . Jellal.

How? Well, he was behind Sting in the line and so coincidently, I had to sit with him. Honestly, I think it's no coincident. The ride started and we went up slowly. It was hard to keep myself from laughing because Natsu, Sting and Gajeel are fighting over who's going to last the longest on the ride since they're all motion sick. It also helped me not think about the fact that Jellal was sitting next to me which was good.

"AHHHHH!" Sting and Gajeel screamed as we dropped down vertically and shot back up.

Why wasn't Natsu screaming? He was probably too busy trying to keep his food down and his face was completely blue. Everyone's faces were absolutely hilarious (except for mine) as we rode around and around on the rollercoaster. We went upside down and I felt the wind rush through my hair and thrill of the adrenaline that came with the ride. I also forgot that Jellal was next to me, since I tried to keep to my side. Sadly, the roller coaster slowed down and we came to a stop. We climbed out and I met up with Natsu, Lucy, Gray and Juvia, who were looking at the photos that were taken on the ride.

"Ha ha ha! You look so funny!" Natsu laughed as he pointed at Lucy.

"Nani, have you seen your face? You're blue!" Lucy pointed at Natsu accusingly.

I stepped closer to get a better look of our photo which was on the screen and I see myself squished to the side, as an attempt to get away from Jellal. My face looked uncomfortable and I wasn't screaming (the ride wasn't too bad). Jellal had a blank face and was looking at me from the corner of his eyes.

"The Haunted House! The Haunted House!" Natsu shouted.

The Haunted House was opposite the roller coaster and it was in a big, black building. It had a flashing sign saying 'Haunted House' and the line for the ride wasn't that long.

"Are you sure Natsu? What if you pee your pants?" Lucy asked.

"Of course I won't. Come on" Natsu dragged Lucy there so we all followed.

The wait was short and before I knew it, I was seated in the carriage next to Juvia and Evergreen. Why? What have I done to deserve sitting next to Evergreen.

"What are you doing here?" she sneered.

"No, I'm pretty sure the question is 'what are you doing here?'" I retorted.

"I bet you're going to pee your pants from the scary ghosts in here" Evergreen snickered but I simply smirked.

"Let's make a deal. If you scream or cry or show any signs of being scared, you have to dress and act like a boy for a week next term. That means no dresses, walking like a boy, talking like a boy and when you have cheerleading, it has to be like a boy. " I said.

It was pretty smart if I do say so myself. Knowing Evergreen, she'll get scared and I've always wanted to see her dress like a boy. I could just imagine her in baggy pants, t-shirt, her hair tucked up in a cap and she won't be in high heels!

"Fine. But if you scream or cry or show any signs of being scared, you have to dress and act like a boy for a week. Even if you already look and act like a boy" Evergreen added.

I just rolled my eyes at her failed attempt to insult me.

"Deal?" I stuck my hand out.

"Deal" Evergreen shook my hand.

The carriage jolted forward and the ride started. We were moving slowly and soon, we were in pitch black. Then some glow in the dark ghosts appeared but they looked so unrealistic. Spider webs and spiders hung from the ceiling and we passed scary monsters as we slowly moved along in the ghost train. Zombies walked up close to the carriage and I saw Evergreen flinch but quickly tried to regain herself. We came to a dead end with a coffin put vertically. Everyone waited and waited . . . a corpse popped out and screamed. Evergreen also screamed. I however, remained unfazed.

When the ride ended, we all got out and I confronted Evergreen.

"Don't forget the deal" I said before skipping off to where Natsu and the others were.

"Ferris wheel time!" Natsu yelled.

We went to the Ferris wheel and managed to get a carriage. Since we could fit six people in one, us five went together. The ride started and we slowly ascended to the sky. It was very sad for me. Natsu and Lucy were huddled together, no doubt flirting, and Gray and Juvia were kissing. What a sad life I had. I felt lonely and pathetic. Looking out the window, I saw people laughing and having fun on the rides. I even spotted Jellal with Ultear and Meredy by the Haunted House. Just seeing him happy brought a smile to my face even though I felt depressed deep down.

"Come on Erza! Picture time" Lucy waved me over.

I leaned over to get in the photo and Lucy clicked the button for a selfie. We got a couple more group photos, silly ones and just nice ones. After photos were finished, we were at the top of the Ferris wheel and while the others went back to being in couples, I went back to being lonely. So I just thought of what it would be like to still be dating Jellal. Ferris wheels were romantic rides and I could just imagine Jellal up here with me. We could have still been a happy couple if it wasn't for all the problems. I still loved him, not because he was my first love but because he was my only love since six years old.

"Erza! Stop spacing out, the ride's finished" Lucy called.

"Coming" I quickly climbed out of the carriage, embarrassed.

"Let's go get some drinks. Juvia is thirsty" Juvia suggested.

Everyone nodded except for me. "I'll meet you at the food court. I'm just going to the bathroom" I told them.

I headed to the bathroom and had to manoeuvre through a crowd of high school kids. As I walked through the crowd and made it to the other side alive, I bumped into someone and fell on the floor.

"I'm so sorr-" I looked up to see Jellal.

"It's okay. It was my fault for not looking where I was going" I replied.

He stuck a hand out and I hesitantly took it. Jellal pulled me up and when my eyes met his, I noticed how close his face was. I could smell his minty breath and see red tattoo so clearly.

"We need to talk" we said at the same time.

"You first" again, we said at the same time.

I motioned for him to talk first.

"Erza, I'm sorry. For everything. I shouldn't have accused you of kissing Simon when you didn't. I think I said this already but I just felt like I was never good enough for you so I didn't want to hold you back. At the ball, I was going to ask you out again but I couldn't, since you know – I got electrocuted. I get that it wasn't your fault and I forgive you. So I'm asking you now. Will you go on a date with me?"

My jaw dropped. I was flabbergasted. He was seriously asking me this. Oh god, I hope this isn't a dream. I pinched myself and winced when I felt the pain.

"I'm not dreaming. You're serious" I whispered as my hand reached up to touch his cheek. "You're real."

Jellal rolled his eyes and smiled. "Still the same old Erza. Cute and dumb."

"Cute and dumb. Cute and dumb?! Who are you calling cute and dumb?!" I demanded angrily, out of my shocked state.

"Duh, I said you, didn't I?" Jellal chuckled. "But you're my cute and dumb. You're my Erza. So will you go on a date with me?"

This time, there was no pinching or stupid words. There was no shock and there was definitely no hesitation.

"Yes, Jellal. Yes I will go on a date with you!"

A big grin spread on my face and Jellal picked me up, spinning me around. It was the happiest time of my life, again. Or maybe this time, it was the happiest. After having so many problems and finally fixing them, that truly is a happy moment.

"Come on, let's go on some more rides. Maybe the Ferris wheel, I haven't been on it" Jellal said.

"I've been on it but it felt lonely without you. I'll go on it again with you" I linked arms with Jellal. "Wait, what about Ultear and Meredy?"

"Oh, they'll be fine. I'll just text them and let them know. What about you with Lucy and the others?"

"Yeah, I guess they'll be fine if I ditch them. I'll text them as well but they'll hardly notice I'm gone."

"Now off to the Ferris wheel!"

"Off to the Ferris wheel!"

That was when we walked hand in hand to the Ferris wheel, grinning madly like a teenage couple. Lucy and the others wouldn't mind if I left them, they would be happy I'm with Jellal. I was also ecstatic that he asked me out again. We're not technically a couple again but hopefully he'll ask me soon. I already scored a date so I think I'm on a roll.

No matter how fast, how scary the roller coaster, Jellal and I will always survive it together. It's our destiny!

I have made up my mind! There will be one chapter after this, then the epilogue and then it's finished forever! Thank you so much for your opinions for that last A/N!
