Cocoa was feeling bored. And annoyed as well. The teacher was talking on and on and the words were in and out of her ear. She knew that she’s supposed to pay attention, but she just wasn’t cut out for math. 

She heard a faint voice and came back to her senses. The teacher was right in front of her. “That’s it! Cocoa Smith out to detention you go!”  Cocoa grumbled and obliged. And there she was in detention. She kept sneaking glances at the door as she typed on her Nokia cell phone.

Cocoa pouted. She sighed and twirled her hair. Minutes later she was playing snake and she punched her fist in the air when she won. Just then the detention teacher walked in. Cocoa hurriedly hid her phone, her eyes twitching nervously. She straightened up her slim pale figure.The teacher handed out a paper with a stern look. “I can’t have you feeling happily bored can I. So here is something to do meanwhile. Everyone knows you need work on your math”

Cocoa finished twenty minutes later and for once she was satisfied with the result. She made a mental note to thank Chloe later for helping tutor her. The bell rang again and she hurried out.
