Saudade Feelings

He grabbed the blanket and started to neaten it out.
"Son, come down stairs. I wish to speak with you." His father entered the front door of his house and called up to him. "Yes, Father." Asano responded and left the the bed.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.
I woke up woozily in the warmed up bed.
Huh...Wha-what! I quickly sat up to find myself in still in Asano's room.
I can't believe...I really actually fell asleep. Stupid me. I felt a gloomy aura surround me. It was a good thing that Asano didn't come yet.
What is with my power these days? I sighed as I got off from the bed.
Better fix the bed... I put the bed covers back to how it used to be. I glanced towards the windows and saw that the sun was already starting to go down.
Aw crap, I was sleeping so long! Well, I'll just figure out about him later. I should first go and talk to Isogai and Maehara. I flew out of the room through the open window. I grinned happily. One things for sure. Flying never gets old. The light feeling in the air with the cool breeze brushing against my cheeks. I feel free through the setting skies.
I guess I'll just fly this time to their house.

.-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

The principal was finished talking to his son about the upcoming assembly and mid-term tests. Asano went back upstairs to finish his bed only to find out that it was already put back how it used to be. What the hell is going on here? He touched his bed and wondered about the mysterious fact that his bed was put back to normal. He then felt the spot he just put his hand on pretty warm.

Was somebody sleeping in my bed? He leaned closer for better inspection. Asano then caught a whiff of something on the bed.
Cherry blossoms? It indeed smelled like cherry blossoms on the warm spot.
Who could it be? He narrowed his eyes out of frustration.

-.-.-.-.-.-.-.

I've first pinpointed Isogai's house and finally reached the destination.

So this is how his house looks like... It looks okay. Just a little rundown.Well, they did say that he was pretty poor.
It was a regular two story house and in his yard there was a mini garden with vegetables and fruit trees. There was some places around the exterior of the house where it was patched up, but I could barely see it. That has to be Isogai's handwork. What a man! I couldn't help but to say that because well, for one, it's true after all.

I looked through one of the windows in the second floor of his house. I found Isogai, of which what looked like he was studying at his desk. I knocked on the window to get his attention. He glanced up and had the most surprised look on his face when he saw me. He hurried and opened the window to let me in.

"Exactly how are you floating like that and how did you know where I live?" his eyes got big when I slipped through the window into his room.

"Magic. Sort of." I was dead serious.

"Okay...So what are you doing here?" he asked dubiously.

"I came to tell you the reason why I was here and what I could do since you could see me and all." I shrugged.

¨I see. Then come at make yourself comfortable. Sorry that it's so cramped in here." He easily accepted my outrageous reply and patted the seat next to him on his bed. I shook my head from the chill of deja vu.

That's the exact same thing Karma did. But unlike him, Isogai is way more gentleman like.

"Something wrong? I'm sorry, the only place we could sit is on the bed." he said worryingly.

"Oh, no it's fine. I was just having a flashback of something." I reassured quickly. I came and sat down.

"Would you like some tea? Although, our tea isn't very high quality."

"It's fine." I told him all the things I told Karma. He nodded through the whole time as I explained and didn't interrupt once. I blew a breath out as I finished telling him my story.

"So, are you not shocked or anything? I mean, most people would react pretty big once they hear this crazy story." Isogai shrugged. "I mean, sure it's a lot to take in, but I believe you." he gave a smile. "Anyways... If you say you never use your power then where do you sleep?" He asks.

"Oh, I do use it once in awhile for minor things like toiletries, futon, or transportation. As for the room, I spent the night in Karma's room." I replied. His facial expression turned slightly dark.

"In Karma's room?" he repeated.

"Yeah, 'cause usually only the person I am assigned to should be able to see me so I thought I can only stay with him. But weirdly, four guys in total can see me in this anime."

"Did you sleep in guys's room too in other animes?" he waved his hand infront of his face, as if to cool it down.

"Well, it depends. I mostly am assigned to the main character or one of them so... yeah sometimes there are male main characters but they all had spare rooms so I slept in those."

"And Karma doesn't have a spare room?"

"Truthfully, I never asked. Ahahahaha..." I rubbed the back of my head. "Because it was already nighttime and all." I quickly said a couple of excuses to not make him worry.

"You know it's dangerous to be alone in guy's room especially since we are 8th graders, right?" his face was in a different angle so I couldn't see if he was mad or not. I waved my hands franticly.

"No, no. I could defend myself since I'm pretty strong as a girl." I laughed it off. Isogai suddenly turned his body.

"Woah!" I fell backwards, startled from how quickly he turned. I started to pushed myself back up to a sitting position but Isogai pushed me back down.

"Uh... Isogai...?" I nervously knew what was coming next at this cliche scene. He was on top of me in seconds. He had a very serious face as held my arms down.

"Try to sit up."

"Sure..." I suddenly had an evil thought. Can I really...?

Command: Strength me twice stronger than Isogai.

I then pushed Isogai off with ease. He looked at me in shock then narrowed his eyes.

"Hey...You can command yourself to be stronger too?" I shrugged and grinned.

"I never knew I could. I just...Tried it out."

"I thought you said you don't really use your ability."

"Who knows. I... could have been lying?" I lowered my strength back to its original level, so I don't injure him accidently, and playfully threw a pillow that toppled off the bed. He laughed and stopped the pillow with his hands before it could hit his face.

He picked it up and threw it back. I spun away from the rocketing pillow and looked at him square in the face.

"Are you challenging me to a pillow fight war?"

"Who knows? Maybe I will go easy on you." He looked straight back with the look of confidence. I smiled.

"You're on." I snapped my fingers and a dozen of pillows materialized out of thin air. I flicked my wrist and one by one, the pillows self-attacked Isogai. We fought on and on until the point of exhaustion. I lifted my hands up.

"Okay, I'm beat, you win." I surrendered and walked forward towards him in peace. I then tripped over one of the many pillows on the ground. I toppled over onto his bed, bringing Isogai with me. I was lying right on top of him. A few seconds passed by and I said the first thing that came to my mind.

"I'm so tired..." There was a pause.

"Me too." Isogai replied.

Ack! What am I doing! I hurried and scrambled off him.

"I'm so sorry for knocking you over. Also, I'm acting too comfortable with you, aren't I even though we just met." I put my two hands together and lowered my head.

"It's fine really. It's actually quite nice how you act like we were best friends. Also, I'm pretty sure you know a couple things about me since you watched the "anime" of us. Don't worry and sit back down." He smiled gently and pat my head. I grew all teary.

What a man!

"Why are you crying now?" He asked, shaken by the tears. I shook my head to reassure him. I felt sort of guilty how I sort of knew about his private life but I listened and sat back down. There was an awkward moment of silence between us. I broke the silence with something that came up in my mind.

"Talking about anime, I never got to ask Karma but aren't you kind of shocked or anything?"

Thinking about it, I never really asked anybody that question in other animes... We all just didn't really think about.

"Well, I'm not shocked that easily these days after the blowing up of the moon and Korosensei. Although, I don't really mind it at all. I grew up in this world thinking that everything is real. I will continue thinking like that." I nodded along, understanding what he meant. If a person came up to me and said that my world was really just an anime, I would probably believe him after what happened so far but still continue to think my world is real. I sighed. From all the explaining, playing, and thinking; I was really worn out. I laid down on the bed.

"So...tired," I repeated. "And I still have to go explain the whole thing again to Maehara...And I need to go back to Karma's house. He would obviously attack me with questions again..." I sighed again at the thought of it all. My eyes started to flutter to a close.

"This bed... is warm... and smells like sweets and coffee..."

I really don't know why but beds in this world always makes me sleepy. Do I-do I have a bed fetish or something? Argh, wake up! I smacked myself with my palms on my face to shake myself out of it. I quickly sat up, whacking my forehead into Isogai's for about the millionth time today. We stared at each other right in the face for a couple of seconds before breaking out in laughter. We laid back on the bed, with my sides hurting. We turned over on our sides, somehow at the same time. We looked at each other face to face.

"Sorry about that. I was just checking if you fell asleep." Isogai said sheepishly as he used his hand to support his head. I gave a big smile.

"It's fine. Honestly, I feel really comfortable around you, like we were best childhood friends, you know." He faced away from me.

"I do too..." He mumbled covering his mouth with his hand. I blinked at his reaction and started to grin.

"What's wrong, Isogai... Are you embarrassed just because I said that little thing?" I said in a teasing voice as I playfully poked and twisted my finger on his cheek. I couldn't help it. It was somehow cute. I finally backed away from him after a couple minutes of teasing and stood up.

"Well, I got to go." I said regretfully, wanting to stay longer. I turned around slowly towards the window. Every step I took farther from him, I felt a deep pain.

Sad.

Lonely.

Saudade.

"Hey." I felt a hand on my shoulder. I looked up behind me finding Isogai with a pained look on his face.

"Yeah?" I replied, biting my lip. I started to get my hopes up.

"Do you want to sleep here for the night? You look pretty tired and your face is slightly pale. I'll sleep on the floor." he reassured. My smile returned and I accepted his invite in an instant.

"Okay, but I'll sleep on the floor. I have a futon!" I immediately snapped my fingers. It was set up on the floor and I had on my pajamas. Isogai shook his head.

"No, you should sleep on the bed. It wouldn't be right for me to let you do that." I put my legs inside the futon and snapped my fingers again. This time, I got a toothbrush and toothpaste.

"Well, dat's too bad! I'm not budging from dis spot. Urless you wan da sleep wid meh..." With a third snap, all the toothpaste foam was out of my mouth and I tucked myself to sleep. Isogai blinked and laughed.

"You are really persistent. All right, all right." He turned off the lights and climbed into his bed.

"Good night." Isogai said with a seemingly peaceful and happy voice. I smiled again even though he couldn't see it.

He's completely different from Karma. I then hurry and sat up remembering about him.

"Is something wrong?" Isogai asked with a concerned voice since he probably heard the rustling.

"Oh, no don't worry. I just thought that I should send Karma a letter that I'm staying here for the night." I quickly thought up a message and snapped my fingers. Teleport to Karma Akabane. The message glowed and disappeared. "Okay, I'm done. Sorry about that and good night." I apologized.

"It's fine. Good night, Shir-Sorry, I mean Takamura."

"It's fine, you can call me Shirayuki. Karma does too ." I laughed.

"Karma, huh... Are you really so close to him?" I gave a confused look, forgetting Isogai wouldn't have seen it.

"I don't know... Not that much, I geuss. Why would you think that?"

"Nevermind, but you shouldn't let people say your first name so easily."

"Oh, okay..." I shrugged, once again forgetting that Isogai couldn't see it.

"Good night... Shirayuki... Sweet dreams." Isogai said hesitantly. I didn't comment to the fact that even though he said not to let people say my first name so easily, he actually did that himself.

"Haha! Just like a mother." But I felt like there was more to it than the fact that it sounded like what a mother would say.

What he just said, sounds nostalgic...

Drowsiness overcame me as I knew someone comforting was by my side and stopped thinking about the nagging thought.

I fell asleep as I felt satisfied.

But not for long.

"No, no, no! You can't leave! You promised me!"

Silence sliced through the air.

Then, there was crying.
