I shut off my Annoying morning alarm
" Why does summer have to be over."
I complained as I wrapped my self in my sheets and headed to my closet to pick out my clothes for the first day of school.
'Today is my first year in high school hello freshman year, gossip and drama here I come.'
I decided to wear my pleated skirt and my white crop top with a little star in the top corner, along with my favorite red converse shoes, and white ankle high socks. I rushed downstairs towards the kitchen, got out all the ingredients I would need to make the worlds best pancakes and started cooking my breakfast, finished making my pancakes
"now to add the final touches to my masterpiece." I got out the maple syrup from the top cabinet, I popped open the lid, drizzled a crap ton of syrup on to my pancakes, to finish it off covered it in a thick layer of whipped cream ' now that's what I call and a hundred calorie meal'
I started to gobble down my delicious pancakes without hesitation.
"Phew, now that's what I call a good meal," I said while talking my plate to the kitchen.
I went back to my room and got my messenger bag and stuffed a bunch of school supplies inside, and headed out of my house, grabbing the keys and locking the door behind me. I rushed out of my front porch towards the bus and sat in my usual spot up in front close to the bus driver.
'Now you may be wondering, "well Niki were are your parents?" Well to put it simply about 3 years ago I was in a car accident that..well killed my mother and my sister I was the only one that didn't die, I only came out with minor injuries like a fractured rib, my father blamed himself for the death of my mother and sister so he killed himself. After that my mother's sister became my legal guardian, she travels a lot I only see her twice a month and when she comes it's normally to drop off food money for me. So yeah that my situation.'
Before I could realize it the bus came to a halt in front of my ex-childhood friend's house.
'Meet CJ she was my best friend till 8th grade then things started to go downhill, last  year some a-holes moved into the Neighborhood and they became her friends, things escalated faster then I expected, one day we were the best of friends, the next mortal enemies!'
CJ and her little prep and prim friends hoped on board the bus and went to the very back row that was the only spot that could seat four people, I zoned out while waiting for the next stop which was were one of my only true friends and the moment lived, the bus stopped.
"Yo, Niki what's up...Hellooo earth to Niki."
I snapped out of my thoughts and faced the familiar voice next to me,
"Oh, hey Ayden," I responded with a delayed reply,
"Hello again, you seemed kind of spaced out back then, what's up?" He questioned curiously,
"Oh, nothing just daydreaming,"I responded still kind of out of it.
When we arrived at school me and Ayden said our goodbyes and when to our first period English, I was with the worlds best teacher, at least that's what I had heard from my old friends, her name was Ms.Eddy and was not only my English teacher but also me and Ayden's Study hall supervisor.
Class had started, Ms. Eddy had already called attendance and she was just starting to explain how the freshman schedule was when
*BAM*
Someone had slammed the door open
"Ehh, I can't believe it I'm late! sorry, Ms.Eddy." I heard someone Wich I did not know tell across the classroom, I looked towards them, they looked back at me and smiled, now at this point I was extremely puzzled by who this person was and why they just smiled at me.
"Sigh, class please welcome the new student  Mr. Alexander swan, my nephew." Ms. Eddy stated with a sarcastic tone, the entire class started laughing at Ms.Eddys sarcastic tone, surprisingly she was also laughing along, Alexander took a seat in the empty chair in front of me, he turned around to face me and analyzed my face then turned back.
Class continued and Ms.Eddy handed out a syllabus the size of an amplified brick, on the first page it said "students guide on the do's and don'ts of spelling, and other syllabus things. By Ms.Eddy."
I was so mesmerized by the size of the huge syllabus that I did Not hear Ms.Eddy when she said: "This syllabus is to be read by tomorrow morning, and you are to have all the materials you need with you no excuses." 
I finally zoned out of it when I heard Andrew start yelling
"No way in hell am I reading this entire book, it'll probably take me a gazillion years !"
Then not a moment pass and Ms.Eddy had started lecturing him about yelling in class and the benefits of reading her syllabus, the bell rung and class was dismissed less than a split second later I see Ayden motioning me to come to where he was,
" Niki the craziest thing happened today in class, some kid slammed the door open thinking that it was Ms.Eddys class and started yelling at my teacher thinking that she was Ms.Eddy."
"Hey, guess what genius that kid is in MY class." I sarcastically stated 
"and adding on to that he sits in front of me, plus he's Ms.Eddys nephew."
"I feel sorry for Ms.Eddy, her own nephew doesn't even recognize her." Ayden replied laughing   
"I feel sorry for my self, now come on let's get going to science class." I said as I started walking up the hall gesturing for Ayden to follow.
