"up on your feet woman" Kael ordered her to stand not glancing facing his back to her.

Andressa stood up slowly, she leaned on to a side of the elevator for support. Everything happened so fast her mind finding it difficult to register, Kael acting strange, devious and dangerous. All of a sudden the air inside the elevator felt heavy making it hard for her to breath. She gasped while choking a throbbing ache in her throat. Tears pooled in her eyes ready to flood but she resisted the urge to cry. I cannot cry and make myself look more miserable. Not now at all.

The elevator dinged marking the twentieth floor which was the top floor of the building. Kael walked down the hall toward the office with gracefully looking straight ahead. She followed, feeling like a slave being dragged in to a dungeon in chains. Her head bent low a little. The banging of the door made her snap out of her thoughts and back in to reality.

Kael sat on the couch crossing his leg over the other arms beside him, his eyes cold and glassy expressing no emotion at all. He looked majestically dangerous, she gulped the lump on her throat looking away from him. what did I do! Why is this happening to me. I feel betrayed Kael. The feeling I had for you, you just broke me in to a million pieces.

"Forget that even happened" Kael said, Her eyes shot up but she quickly looked away. Did he just read my mind. Are you a psychic

"NO, I'm not a psychic Andressa you just said it out loud" He said again with a smirk

"I did?" She replied feeling embarrassed and ashamed. I want to run away, far far away from him.

"Wouldn't you ask?"

"What"

"Why you are here?" he said looking straight at her eyes

"Wh..why am I here Kael, What's going on. this is just too much. am I dreaming I mean Where is Mr.Ranfred he is my boss you know" She kept going on question after question, tears streaming down her cheeks ruining the little mascara she had on.

"I gave you permission to ask one question, have you no sense at all" Kael said as if she was some stupid woman who kept on blabbering

"uh! you actually do talk too much! I hate it" he said, running his fingers through his hair looking as if was irritated. his words felt like a thousand daggers hitting her heart. that's not what you said to me last night Kael. she said to herself inwardly.

"May I know why am I here" She asked in a low tone

"Good girl" Kael stepped closer to her

"you are here because you wasted ten minutes of valuable time talking to peers instead making that time more productive for the company." Andressa could feel his body heat radiating through her skin even though he stood a feet or two away.

"Do you even know how much each second of my time value? it's worth millions, every second you waste I lose money." His closeness making her uneasy.Don't come closer to me Kael. She prayed silently.

"I don't tolerate such behaviour in my office and I do not give second chances." His breath fanning her face, standing mere inches away towering Andressa completely.

"Habbits don't change over night so I fire them" His voice intimidating.

"You are FIRED!" He whispered in to her ear. Her eyes shot up, but all she could see was the wall of his chest, covered in his crisp white shirt. this man just insulted me, made me jobless in a snap of his fingers but what am I doing staring at his chest, seriously! All the bad luck in the world had an inclination to come to me today but my heart is fluttering for him, beating so fast. is this happening for real. How could I not just push this domineering son of a... yet I am not, what is wrong with me. Here I am feeling limp and helpless. Andressa's cheeks damp with her own tears, face turned pale and she looked frustrated and helpless against the man he fell for. Her entire world seem to fall apart in front of her own eyes.

"I..why? what did I do to you? this is not right, you cannot just take away my job. I have no way to support my self if I lose this job." She went on, her face melancholy.

"that is exactly what I want" Kael replied turning away from her and taking a few steps toward the window. Andressa could breath again.

"but why" She broke down, like a child

"because I say so! You know Andressa, I always do what I say and I always get what I want."He said turning back at her, smirking.

"but there is a way that you could save your pity self"

Andressa looked at him, with agonising eyes.

"what is it" she asked

"Marry me!"
