"would you like to take a walk"

Giving a cute smile in agreement Andressa nodded. Both of them walked on the wharf in silence. Andressa want to break the uneasy silence but she couldn't find the words. this is unlike you Andy, talk to him. don't wait for him to start the talking she thought for herself

"Quite silent tonight you are, unlike the blabbering girl I met in an accident, is it because you hit your head that day you talked quite a lot?" Kael broke the silence in a sweet teasing tone.

"I usually do talk quite a lot, everyone says. I'm sorry was so irritable that day I don't even remember what not I said to you" Andressa said with a little chuckle.

They stopped at a less crowded point at the wharf. Kael leaned on his back to the wharf railing, looking straight at the beautiful girl standing next to him. the wind flowing her hair making her heart shaped face appear more clearly. She is indeed one beautiful woman Kael has laid his eyes upon. He had seen many blondes, redheads, brunettes but Andressa had a charismatic glow that none of the women he was with had. He felt relaxed when he was with her. Stop it Kael, do not let your desires take over your instincts. Kael cleared his mind from admiring this rare beauty.

Andressa felt Kaels hot gaze on her. She felt embarrassed for turning beet red in front of him. Her heart beating a little faster than usual she felt, and she felt butterflies in her stomach. She took a quick glans at him. He is so handsome, his dark eyes difficult to read as if they hid so many secrets. Andressa wished she could reveal what emotions lies within his deep dark eyes.

"tell me about you Andressa" Kael asked in a husky voice

"Well, there is nothing much to say. I'm originally from Georgia. I won a scholarship to study here in California state university. I studied architecture which is my passion, I just love making a home. Uh I mean drawing floor plans. Recently I started a job as an intern in a construction company as a junior architect." that's about it I think Andressa replied

Kael reached for her hand taking her small slender one in his large warm rough hand. This unexpected gesture made her eyes widen, his touch electrifying. He caressed her knuckles with his thumb making slow sensual strokes. Andressa taking very pleasure of the moment.

"shall we go for dinner"

"there is a good restaurant on the pier, we could go there" Andressa suggested

They walked slowly hand in hand to the restaurant. To the world looking at them would see a happy couple walking down the wharf. Andressa felt important, all her friends had boyfriends since high school, some lasted while some broke up. She on the other hand never found much interest in boys except for the major crush she had on Jayson the popular soccer player at school which she never told to and eventually one of her classmates went out with him. She always waited for her true love to come and find her for her Papa always said that true love is the most powerful and perfect feeling in the world. He said that love can conquer any thing, it can cure the most wounded heart and restore hope. So, she waited for her true love. could it be him she wondered.

They entered the seafood restaurant Andressa suggested. It was a small yet busy place. They sat in a corner table for two and a waitress came to take their orders. Andressa felt angry inwardly as the waitress threw her self at Kael flirting. She gave her a fake smile.

"Does this happen often to you?" She asked

"Does what happen?"

"you know the wo..women throwing themselves at you, like she did just now" her tone irritable

"May be, I'm too busy to notice. and you, what about you Andressa"

She looked at him, her eyes widen.his expressions showing a hint of excitement. did he really ask me what I felt about him she thought for herself

"Me, well uhm.. I don't know I think you are alright" All she managed to say was that.

"That's it" his eyes questioning her

"well, I don't know what to say. you are a.." gesturing her hand at him "all this, I mean you have good looks and you are intimidating, yes. that's what I think" She said finally sighing inwardly. Her face red with embarrassment.

He reached for her hand and cradled it in his, soothing her nerves.

"Anjo, I didn't mean to upset you. I was just teasing" he said giving her a polite smile. she smiled back at him.

They enjoyed the seafood while Andressa opened herself up to him more. Talking about her parents, how much she loved her papa and mama. Her brother Romano who was in high school. Her likes and dislikes and what not. Surprisingly Kael didn't talk about himself much but Andressa didn't seem to notice it. she was entirely lost in this charming man with godly looks, she dismissed to ask.

This was the best evening Andressa ever had she thought. They walked out toward the entry way. I wish this night wont end too soon she told to her self.

"lets go to the beach" She said all of a sudden turning to Kael she took off her shoes holding them in her hand, her eyes glowing with happiness. Kael agreed nodding his head and smiling. she started to run slowly, embracing the wind freely. Kael amazed at her spontaneous behaviour. Andressa was so free unlike him she had no burden in life, nothing to worry about. her life was perfect, living each day, happily accepting what life gives her.

"Hey come on" she shouted back at him gesturing her hand in a come here motion. Kael snapped out of his thoughts and walked toward her. She ran back to him grabbing his hand she pulled him persuading him to run along with her and he did so. They ran toward to sea shore, Andressa squealed in pure excitement as the waves shattered in to a million ripples at her feet. Kael chuckled at her playfulness. She threw her bag and shoes away on to the sand where the waves didn't reach and bent to feel the warm water in her hands. the longer strands of her hair getting wet. Kael bent beside her and tucked a strand of her long hair behind her ear out of impulse. Andress looked at him a merriment written all over her face, she sprinkled some sea water on to Kael making his face and shirt wet.

"Hey, watch it" Kael said out loud only to have her sprinkle more sea water on him. He too did the same in reflex and she caught some in the eyes making them sting by the saltiness. she wiped her face with her palm squealing. She felt like a silly teenager playing with her first date out on the beach and she enjoyed every moment.

Abruptly a larger wave hit them, Kael was entirely wet waist down and poor Andressa was wet from top to bottom. they both tried to run away before the next big wave hit but the wet sand making it difficult. Kael pulled her along with him, but she could not keep up with her short legs compared to his, and toppled face down, pulling Kael along with her he fell on his back. The wave hit them damping both of them head to toe both laughing out loud.

Kael stood up and helped Andressa stand up forwarding his hand. She took it and helped herself up, their bodies inches apart. She could feel his eyes gazing at her and his breath fanning her forehead. Kael caressed her cheek softly. Andressa tilted her head to the side naturally welcoming his touch closing her eyes. She felt his hot breath fanning her face, he was close too close for her to handle the desire she felt for him. She didn't resist his touch, she longed for more, Kael has awaken a part of her she never knew existed.

"Eu vou te beijar meu anjo" ( I want to kiss you my angel ) Kael whispered to her ear huskily, brimming with pure desire.

"hmm" She didn't understand the words he said in a foreign language but she nodded her head in agreement.

Kael lingered his lips on her neck, slowly moving up to her jaw closing in to her full lips. He took one hot glance at her, and in a second locked his lips on hers moving passionately. she welcomed him parting her lips, butterflies erupting in her stomach. He felt warm and tasted good. The feeling was amazing, out of this world. He slid an arm around her waist and pulled her to him, deepening the kiss, she moaned softly arching her back allowing him to take the lead. Her heart beating fast in her ribcage, feeling his body heating up.She ran her fingers through his head, feeling the wet hair and encouraging him to keep going. It felt like an eternity when he finally broke the kiss, resting his forehead on hers they both breathed heavily. she closed her eyes savouring the moment reliving it while Kael did the same.

"We should go" Andressa said in a whisper

"I should take you home, meu anjo!" Kael replied.

they both walked toward the parking lot in silence, carrying their belongings in their hands which they threw on to sand earlier. Andressa hesitated to sit in the car at first not wanting to ruin it with her current state, but Kael insisted. They rode in silence occasionally taking glances at each other. Kael took her hand resting it on his thigh the entire drive. He took her to her apartment and walked her to the door, gave her a slight peck on the lips bidding goodbye. today I had the best date of my life, Kael, you gorgeous man with deep dark eyes I am falling for you, irrevocably. she thought for herself.

by the way did you notice something awkward...well hello!!! Kael didn't say anything about himself to Andressa and she didn't realise it.
