I am overwhelmed by the number of messages received by readers. Thank you so much. Most of them were with the story for almost a year. I am excited to write the rest of the story. Here is presenting another chapter to all you lovely people.

"Hey, what the hell! Let me go you..." Andressa yelled trying to escape the grasp of the two towering men whom were her bodyguards an hour earlier. Before everything turned upside down.

"Just keep silent and co-operate" One man spoke without looking at her

"Oh god why is this happening, Kael please help me..Kael..Kael!" Andressa pleaded. She was being dragged down a flight of stairs leading to a dimly lit hallway. 'so this is it? He is going to torture me and kill me, oh only if you gave me a chance explain. Kael, I don't fear death, what I fear is your future'

She closed her eyes and sat on the metal chair following the guards' orders. The feel of metal adding to the nostalgic atmosphere of the room. She replayed her life in the past few months, the way an ordinary girl living a simple life with no big expectations suddenly haunted by a bitter past one that she can neither accept nor deny. She was trapped, her soul burning in a never ending pit of hatred set alight by the man she loved unconditionally.

"I can't take it anymore, for gods sake please kill me, please make this end. I don't have the courage to fight you. Not anymore!" Andressa cried. Her words immersed in silence of the room.

Andressa's words echoed in his mind as he stared at the computer screen. He clenched his jaws and closed his eyes for the moment hoping to subside the harsh ache in his chest. 'you deceived me Andressa, you are not my angel anymore. I held you close and dear to my heart, I loved you intensely, I found peace in you, I for once thought of a family and you proved me wrong. You are no different to your father and now I will avenge my father's death and the pain you caused me because you betrayed me just the way your father betrayed mine'

"Gurreiro, it's time" Adrian said in a dull voice

Andressa opened her eyes to the sound of door opening. The tall figure with a mask revealing only two deep dark eyes. They looked at each other for what it seemed like an eternity.

"You don't have to do this..K"Andressa broke the silence only to be silenced by him.

"You will speak only when you are asked to. Now tell me whom did you give the intel to? Maybe I will get a soft spot and let you go" Kael demanded.

"Answer me!" Kael's powerful voice startled poor Andressa.

"No one, just trust me" She replied stammering

"Let's make this easy for both of us..shall we" Kael took slow steps toward Andressa. Every footstep echoed in her mind as she knew he was going harm her. Her throat became dry as she felt the cool tip of a metal of a knife pressed against the skin of her neck.

"Samuel, eu sei que você está com mateal. Seu jogo agora é tudo. Solte meus homens e entregue-os em segurança. Então, e só então, libertarei sua filha. Você sabe que encontro paz no sangue e não hesitarei em drenar todo o corpo dela. Meus homens estão observando você na fronteira mexicana" (Samuel, I know you are with Mateal. Your game is now over. Release my men and hand them over to me safely. Then and only then shall I release your daughter. You know I find peace in blood, and I will not hesitate to drain her entire body out of it. My men are watching you at the Mexican border)

Exposing his identity for the first time in the mafia world Gurreiro  removed the mask and dipped his head pressing his lips on her hair as he pierced the skin of her neck. His mind dazed as he fought with his heart and his mind, his love and his agony, he knew he is fighting a war which he will never win, he will forever be at loss but he had to do it, there was no other way for she betrayed him, she was responsible for the loss of his men.

He felt her pain, he felt her entire body quiver as the tip of the blade slashed her skin but she did not make a sound. She was determined to make him regret his actions in days to come. He felt warm red liquid rolling over the back of his palm. His heart flinched for a second but he couldn't give in to emotions. He has to overcome his feelings for her and let the demon take its place.

Kael pressed his lips on her tear soggy cheek and whispered "Let's see how much your papa loves you". A painful moan escaped her lips as she tilted her face away from his. "Already started to hate me meu anjo! " Kael said grinning devilishly. "Don't worry I don't kill my prey instantly I enjoy watching them suffer"

"Samuel this is your final warning, bring my men to the border safely before sun set or your daughter will bleed to a slow painful death" Kael said ending the recording.

Andressa felt appalled when he traced his fingers through her hair but she couldn't move. She fought her pain, she fought her tears and she finally spoke.

"You are a merciless demon, that's what you are Kael. I was so wrong I thought I could mend you. I thought I could help you. Hurt me all you want but you will live to regret every moment of it once you realise how wrong you were. Everything will be over by then. I am not afraid to die Kael, You should be afraid because you have no idea what you are about to lose" Her words straight and sarcastic. He saw the rage in her eyes for once and her words stiffened him.

"Fierce little angel huh! I like it" Kael said as he tasted the warm red liquid on the back of his palm. Andressa closed her eyes in disgust at the sight. 'You truly are a blood thirsty demon Kael'
