Kael stormed out of the house cursing at the incompetence of his men. Several followed him as he went deep in to the woods. Andressa is definitely lost somewhere inside the estate so part of him was assured that she was not out of reach but he feared that she might be hurt in the storm, alone. Kael stopped for a moment, peering his eyes around he tried to think. 'where have you gone'.
The only place that could give someone a shelter for the storm was the rundown house on the far end of the estate. Could she have walked that far, Kael doubted but his instincts told him otherwise. After two decades Kael started to walk down toward the place that carried memories of his childhood. The good and the most hated memories of his past.
His pace slowed down as he reached the old rundown house. Kael went pale and lost in his thoughts staring at the house once he called home. Clenching his jaw, he entered the courtyard. He wanted to find Andressa and get out of there quickly but he didn't know if she was here. Flashes of memories came rushing to him, one by one torturing him. Kael felt angry, lost and hopeless. He turned to leave at once.
"Kael", He turned and stilled at the voice. Andressa was staring at him, soaked from head to toe. He paced toward her to pull her in to his arms. Instead he went rigid in front of her. His eyes gleaming anger not because she wondered off but because he had to come to the place he hated the most to find her.
"What the hell were you were thinking?" Kael shouted.
Andressa looked in to his eyes, bewildered. 'Don't shout, I am not a kid' but the words didn't come out.
"Remove the jacket." Andressa bit the inside of her lips just to keep her mouth shut. She followed his instructions. Removing his own weatherproof jacket Kael put it on her. Wrapping an arm around her both started walking out of the house.
"How can you be so careless Andressa. Walking out in a storm." Kael said and for the past few minutes he was complaining her all along and she felt like a teen who has been caught wrongdoing. She stilled and stiffened.
"Now what, come on get going" Kael demanded.
"Stop being my mother!" Andressa said under her breath. Kael turned and stared at her.
"What"
"Stop being my mother! Since you found me you've been shouting and complaining. I was lost alright. I went for a walk and I got lost. I tried to find my way back but couldn't plus who knew it was going to rain. I am not the weatherman!" Andressa hissed and replied back. The men who were following them had their gazes lowered and tried not to laugh. They have never seen anyone talking back at their boss.
"Come on let's get you home" Kael continued to walk and Andressa followed. It took them quite a lot of time to reach home. Andressa ran upstairs without even looking at him.

The warm water soothed her body and Andressa closed her eyes drifting away in thinking about the events of the day. She was horrified to know that all Kael had told about her father was true. Her heart filled with empathy and love for Kael. The torture he went through as a kid if that had happened to her she would not have lived. He was angry she remembered. The reason for that must not be her wondering off. Andressa wanted to talk to him but she was unsure whether he was ready to open up.
Kael opened the bathroom door. She took too long in the bath for a person who got wet in a storm. Andressa was dreamy, soaked in soapy warm water her skin looked soft and supple. He sat beside the bath and stroked her cheek. She opened her eyes and looked at him warmly.
"You should come out" He whispered and Andressa sighed in agreement.
"I didn't mean to upset you, meu anjo! I was worried that..you were in trouble."
"I only wanted to get some air Kael, I was alone and bored." She replied touching his hand.
"I understand. Now get out of there before you catch a cold" Kael said in a funny voice.
"Yes mom!" Andressa smiled. He leaned forward and gave a peck on her lips.
A light dinner was set on the table in the room. Andressa did not have an appetite and toyed with her food and ate a little when a glare was given from the other end of the table. 'what is going on in that little mind of yours Andressa' Kael thought for himself. She had seen something she shouldn't have. A place where lot of pain was buried. Kael studied her emotions, ' No No man, she would never betray you'. His mind was playing games with him. He loved her but a single spark of doubt can bring disaster to her.
The night was spent in silence but the silence seemed to speak too much between the two lovers. Secrets unravelled and the truth she was seeking for was almost the opposite of what she expected. Deep down her heart she wanted some clue to make her father come clean but as the pieces of the puzzle come together the more of a culprit her father become.
