Kael entered his mansion. A soaring three storied mansion fitted with all the luxury a person can ever imagine, was just another house for Kael, a house with no family, no one to talk to, no one to call "i'm home" when he return home.

Turning on his laptop he checked the encrypted files he requested earlier from his men. the files contained sensitive evidence leading to Samuel, the traitor who lead the FBI agents to his father and killed him. Kael's one and only mission in life was to avenge his fathers killer. Since Kael was 18 he was in the hunt for Samuel but failed miserably at finding him, but he didn't give up, he would never give up until he find him and take his revenge.

Jose, was Kaels guardian until he turned 18. He was one of the most trusted friends of his father Lucas Dangelo. Jose took care of the eight year old Kael who was orphaned in a blink of an eye. He taught him to fight, he taught him to be strong and most of all he told him the truth about Kael's father, the bitter truth that Kael never knew until he was thirteen years old.

There after Kael's one and only mission in life was to avenge the killers of his parents. His mother took her own life several months after her husbands death. She was a true beauty and very young, with an eight year old son and a whole lot of wealth that she cannot manage on her own, she was miserable. She loved Lucas so much that she fell in to a deep depression. Many men approached her with lust, they tried to claim her trust and it was difficult for her to deal with. Her only escape was to go to her dear Lucas, she decided.

the rain was pouring and the wind howled high. Rose tucked Kael in his bed and consoled the crying boy.

"now now Kael don't cry, mama is here with you.Do you want to listen a story honey bun?"

"yes mama" Kael replied sniffing

Rose wrapped an arm around Kael and made him feel comfortable. She pitied her little son, he had gone through a lot, and she despised herself for not being a strong mother for the kid, she hate to see Kael cry. After Lucas's death Kael has lost his liveliness, he hardly smiled and he hardly played. Kael trapped himself in the memories of his father. He became different from other kids of his age. Rose cried inside for her son has lost his childhood.

"Once upon a time in a far away land there lived a king and a queen. They had a son, a smart beautiful little prince named Kael. Their subjects were very loyal and everyone in the land lived in harmony. The king had a sister the princess of the kingdom. As years passed she blossomed in to a rare beauty.the princess seek permission from her brother the king to study alchemy. The king out of love that he had for the princess allowed her to study and sent her away to the university along with the kings most trusted knight and maids. days turned in to weeks and weeks turned in to months, princess wrote to the king every detail of her studies and the life experiences she had in the far away land from the palace. the king searched for the best of best and found a prince who is worthy of her hand. The king immediately made arrangements for the marriage of her sister and announced it to his loyal subjects. People rejoiced in merriment, they feasted for many days. King sent a message to his most trusted knight guarding the princess to return her back to the land. But for the kings disappointment he received message from the princess.

the king was furious learning that his most trusted knight has betrayed him. He called his men and rode to the land where the princess and her lover lived. He wanted to punish the man who disobeyed his royal orders. the king reached the cottage they lived, the kings men dragged the former knight out of the cottage. he begged for forgiveness. The king's sister ran to his brother carrying her little daughter in her arms, she cried and cried and begged to spare their lives from the king. but the king was blinded with the fury in his mind, he took out his sword to execute the traitor, just as he attacked him the king's sister came in the middle of two men, and to every ones dismay the kings sword hit the princess and she was killed instead.secretly the queen offered help and wealth to the former knight to elope with his daughter to another far away land. Months passed, the king still mourned for his loss, but he never knew that his enemy would strike him from the back. the former knight of the king has seek help from enemies of the king, and together they attacked the kings land. The king was lost in battle and died. the little prince was taken away by the most trusted men of the royal family to safety. the queen herself broke in to a million pieces and decide to take her life. the prince grew up to be strong and powerful. prince wished to avenge his father the kings death and claim the land which was rightfully his. he declared war with the enemies and he gracefully won the battle, reclaiming the throne and giving peace to his lost king. and he ruled the land wisely and prosperity followed. The loyal subjects of the land feasted in the honour of their new King. and everyone in the land lived happily ever after.

"that is a sad story mama" Kael said sleepily

"it is, but in the end the little prince became the king and lived happily ever after right Kael" Rose said to her son kissing him on the forehead.

"Kael remember after every night the sun shines in to the day, just like that you too shall pass this dark days and find happiness in your life, I love you so much, mama and papa will always look after you not matter what okay!"

"yes mama, I love you too" Kael drifted in to sleep in his mothers arms. only to wake up next day to learn that mama has left him and gone to where papa was.

"MAMA" Kael woke up sweating, his throat dry. Another nightmare, these endless nightmares took his sanity away. He was still in the study, he remember closing his eyes for a moment and the nightmares took him.

So now you know what happened to Kael's mother. I actually cried re-reading the chapter.
