Andressa ran to her room slamming the door behind her,she sank to the the floor folding her legs to her body. She screamed so loud in order to ease the pain. Just kill me instead of making me suffer like this Kael. This is making me go crazy she screamed.

She opened her eyes her vision blurry. Andressa blinked several times until she could see properly. She cried until she dozed off. Her body ached as she had slept on the floor.

It was still middle of the night. Her throat burning she needed water. Andressa walked to the kitchen silent as a mouse. She poured a glass of water and gulped it down,and another one. The water refreshed her. Placing her glass on the counter she turned to go back to her room.

The incident that happened in the afternoon gave her a major headache.Andressa wanted to sleep. As she landed on the second floor her eyes wondered to the staircase leading up to the thirdfloor where his room is.

It was pitch dark,visibly scaring at the thought of climbing it."I wish the roof would fall on top of you Kael" she muttered in a whisper and made her way to her bedroom.

She tried to sleep but all she did was turn to either side and she probably turned for the tenth time. "Damn you sleep why can't you just come to me" Abdressa talked in to thin air covering her face with another pillow. Seconds later she threw the pillow away and it landed on the floor after hitting the wall.

Andressa got up from bed and walked to the window. It was snowing lightly. Her eyes diverted toward the light she saw several feet away and above her room. To her astonishment she saw Kael,he was looking down straight at her. His unbuttoned shirt waving with the wind.

He is crazy,standing out when it's snowing without thermal wear. Andressa thought.Shut up just shut up,why do you care when he despise you. Her brain reminded her. Andressa sighed to herself.

She is fighting a battle with her brain and her heart. She too looked at him thinking so you have a direct view of my room. Kael didn't take his gaze away from her, and it made Andressa suddenly nervous.

She was wearing a spaghetti strap tank top and a pair of shorts since her room was heated. She felt more hot all of a sudden at the thought of Kael watching her in her skimpy clothes.She glared at him not that he could see. So she showed him the middle finger only to see a wicked smile creep on to his face. 

"Pervert" she said and mentally slapped him.

She closed the blinds and went to bed. Inwardly she felt at ease for she dared to signal him f*ck off sign,she smiled for herself as sleep consumed her.

The following morning Andressa slept in. She woke up by the knocking at the door.
"Come in" She said without looking up

A maid came to her room with breakfast on a tray.

"Good morning ma'am, your breakfast is ready"She said politely.

"You really didn't have to, thank you anyway" Andressa replied getting up from the bed.

"Welcome ma'am,I was just following boss's orders" saying that the maid left.

Kael trying to be all gentleman again she thought. Andressa freshened up and had the breakfast. She was hungry since she skipped dinner last night.

The day went by as usual. She didn't see Kael the whole morning. She put on TV and tried to forget thoughts of Kael. That's when she heard a voice one which was familiar to her. Andressa went to the living room to see it was none other than Izabel.

She was talking to some one over the phone, the same language Kael sometimes spoke to her with. Izabel looked stressed,by the sound of it, what ever she spoke sounded important.

"Hello darling, How have you been" Izabel asked her putting her phone back in her bag.

"Been better you know" Andressa replied and Izabel sighed.

"I know he can be a handful  Andressa,but patience is the key to happiness" she said to Andressa taking a sit on the couch beside her.

"I don't think so Izabel" Andressa said with a sly smile.

" Since you are his friend you must already know what he is putting me through. I have so many unanswered questions. This, this life in a cage will soon consume me."  Andressa couldn't control her tears. 

Izabel gave her a friendly hug and whispered to Andressa.

"Darling I know you must feel suffocated here but please bear with him. He need some one to cure him, and I am sure you can do it. He has a dark past haunting him for many years and he is struggling to free himself from them."Izabel said, Andressa looked at her with disbelief. How can it be true, the devil himself has endured pain.

"How do you know all this Izabel."  Andressa asked.

"I am his doctor Andressa and his close friend"

"You dont know why i am here today do you" she asked.Andressa shook her head in a 'NO' and Izabel sighed.

"He might kill me for saying this,but its better if you knew." Izabel's words making Andressa more curious to know what Kael is hiding from her.

"Kael has hurt himself after the quarrel you two had. He needs medical attention.I was called in by the head housekeeper. He said he found blood stains on a wall of his room."

"What" Andressa said to her in dismay panicking.

"it's nothing serious or I wouldn't be here talking to you now would I." Izabel replied in an assuring tone.

"It was him I talked to over the phone when I entered the house" Izabel stood up as if she was going to go to Kael but she turned again.

"There is one more thing that you should know Andressa, I hope this would help mend your relationship to him" Izabels words  only increased the anxiety Andressa felt.

"He is an alpha.He cannot control his anger,so he kill. But when he doesn't he hurt himself. This is all because of child hood trauma. Both his parents were murdered Andressa and Kael suffers from PTSD." Izabels words stinging Andressa. She felt her heart aching to see Kael, to make sure he was alright. Oh Kael what kind of a man you are! If only I can help you.Will everything go back to normal. She cried inwardly.

"Can I see him now" Andressa asked Izabel.

"Darling it's better to let him be alone for now, he would not want you to see him in this state." Saying that Izabel went upstairs.
