Chapter 7.

♥♥Starfire's point of view♥♥

I was in my knees seeing Robin just lay there unconscious thinking; will he be alright? That was the only question in my mind, but then I remember the same pain when I was about to lose my parents. I also remembered something that  Galfore, my knorfkla, told me. He told me I shouldn't let the sadness take over me. I should have strength to move on. He also told me something more important like:

Always remember they are watching you even if they're unconscious or asleep. They see and hear everything you do and say. It is better to stay positive in worst and good times because life goes on.

It was sad enough I didn't have my family to support me right now. All the pain keeps on washing me over and over again. The only thing I thought of doing was putting my head on Robin's chest. The way he breathed in and out was soothing to me. In my mind I was afraid I would stop feeling his breathing patterns.

I never really understood what miracles could do until I felt my light move. Robin was moving! I removed my head away from his chest to admire him.

"R-Robin are you okay!?" Even if he did move, I was still very worried for him. 

" Huh? Star, I didn't see you there. I'm okay, don't worry.” He gave me a weak smile, but I could see he was perplexed by what he was doing in the medical room.

" Does your head hurt? I can go--" I was cut off when Robin reached his weak hand to place it on top of mine. At that moment, the world was on our side. I'm thankful Robin was in good condition even if he did have a few bruises.

“Don't worry about me, Star. I'm breathing by myself and I'm alive. But, what happened?” Robin didn't seem to remember anything that happened to him. Honestly, it wouldn't bother me if he still kept on being clueless. I don't want him to get seriously hurt.

I hesitated in telling him the story. I am aware he is a hero on duty, but he is also one of the most amazing person I have ever seen. As much as I don't want to tell him, I must. "Well, during our fight with Red X, you decided to throw him a birdarang. The only problem was that your weapon ended up hitting you in the head, hard."

♥♥Robin's Point of view  ♥♥

Waking up from a weird nap I don't remember taking can really take it out in a guy. Especially when I could see poor Starfire crying by my side. The way her eyes were read, puffy, and glossy really hurt me.

It didn't take long for her to tell me what has happened. Of course Red X would be behind this. I can't believe I let my own weapons hurt me so much.

I can't worry about my health now that I know Red X might be lose. “ Did the team catch Red X!?" I shouted with my heart besting fast. Me waiting for an answer was really killing me.

"We tried to bring him to justice, but the justice got away. Red X is really tricky sometimes. ” She looked frighten to see my reaction. All these years with them all I have shown was my anger. Now Starfire is scared of my reaction.

I held her body close to me. “It's okay,Star,  it isn't your fault at all.” I started to run my fingers down her crimson, red hair.

"But I feel so guilty for not doing you this favor by catching him. " Star said looking at the floor.

My finger went under her chin to lift her head. Her green eyes are so beautiful, you could swear you saw heaven in them. “ Don't blame yourself. You tried everything you could. I messed up big time. This is all my fault not yours, okay?”

"Robin, it can never be your fault. You got hurt, and it was an accident. Don't blame yourself," She was pleading, using her eyes, to stop myself from feeling even more worse about myself.

"Let's agree this is nobody's fault. Right now we need to catch Red X. He stole something very valuable." My finger lifted off her chin, and away of her face. I punched my palm because the anger got to me. Red X needs to go down.

" We shouldn't go after him. Let's...let him go.” Star placed her hand on my shoulder.

"What?! No! We can't do that! Why would you suggest such an idea like that?” I let my anger get the best of me.

"Robin, you are my best friend. I care for you more than I care for myself. If fighting Red x means you will get seriously hurt again, then I won't risk it. Having to cope with the feeling you might leave me one day hurts." Her voice broke little by little until she couldn't hold her clear voice anymore.

She is crying, and that really hurts me.

" What ever gave you an idea like that? I care for you way too much. The reason I was Red X to be stopped is because I want you to be safe. Star, I want earth to be a good home for you. I know you can take care of yourself, but I won't risk you getting hurt.” I rubbed her back up and down in small circles.

"I'm worried something bad is going to happen. What would we do if something does happen?" She questioned.

"Anything can happen at this point. I'm scared we might lose touch and I won't even get the chance to tell you something."

"what is it?"

Here it goes...

"I'm stubborn, not such a great leader, and I suck at relaxing. Fighting has been my number one after my parents died, but now I realize I have another number one. I haven't had time to prepare, but I love you. Not like, but love. Sounds crazy, I know, but it's the truth." I felt a lump in my throat form of how scared I was of her reaction towards this.

"Y-you do?"

" Yes, I do. I've daydreamed about you my whole life. I understand if you don't want me around you anymore--”

I stopped talking when she placed her soft palm on my lips. At that moment it was just us two in a room. The others in the tower wasn't our main priority. Even Red X was erased out of my mind. It was true magic.

Our lips soon touched to create butterflies in my stomach. The first time she kissed me, I did feel something towards her. Now that I'm kissing her again, I feel so amazing. Is the world finally smiling away the clouds? Because, I am.

♥♥Beastboy's point of view♥♥

I really needed to see if Robin was okay or not. The whole Red X situation is scaring me a little. The thing he stole looked very dangerous. I was about to open the door wide, but I stopped half way to see Robin kissing Starfire.

"Looks like you are already in good condition. ” I leaned on the door frame, my arms crossed, and my lips smirking.

Both Starfire and Robin broke their kiss immediately when they saw me.

" This all has an explanation!” Robin exclaimed.

"No need to explain, Robin. Starfire and you have been finally getting together. I'll let you two have some space if you two want. " I was getting ready to leave.

I was stopped when Robin began to talk. “Tell the team to go find Red X. He's still out there.”

"Of course!” I was about to close the door with no more interruptions. The last thing I saw was Robin making Starfire giggle.

Yay! Robin and Starfire are together!!

Me: I'm sorry it was short. I have so much homework >.<

Quick Note: Sometimes I take 1 day to upload so don't get mad at me for not uploading late! I also have another story to write so yeah.

2016 quick note: This chapter has been edited. I added a cute speech for Robin and Starfire. The last one was not really romantic. It was pretty lame. Anyways, thanks for reading! <3
