You knew sweet pea's jobs with FP was very stressful and he needed an outlet. You knew that but on multiple occasions you have asked him to not smoke. You had lost your mom to lung cancer that she got from smoking and didn't want sweet pea to go down the same path. He knew you hated smoking so he didn't do it when you were around.
One day you went to the whyte worm from your job at pops. It was dead at the diner so pop let you out early. Sweet pea was inside with some other serpents playing pool. As expected.
"Hey baby" you say walking up to him.
"Hey princess how was work?" He asks you as he bends down to take his shot.
"Dead" You say throwing yourself down on the couch behind the pool table. Sweets was about to say something before a serpent a little bit older comes up and tells him he is needed for a job. He gets up kissing you quickly before leaving.
*half an hr later*
You were still at the bar waiting for sweets to come back. Toni saw the absolute boredom in your face and told you to go home.
On your way out, you decided to text sweet pea to tell him to meet you at homes as you exited the bar, you were met with the smell of cigarettes. You look up to see who was smoking and to your surprise, you saw sweets. Once your eyes met him he panicked and threw the cigarette on the ground. You roll your eyes and head towards your bike.
"Y/n wait" he said walking towards your bike.
"What sweet pea?" You ask with coldness in your voice. He was taken aback a little since you never used his full name. It was either sweets, pea, baby, Babe etc.
"I'm sorry baby ok" he starts off. You scoff.
"No you're not. I know the jobs FP gives you can be stressful but I have only asked one thing of you and that is to not smoke. Do anything else, drink if you need to hell punch a guy but this is the one thing I have asked you to not do and you said you didn't so what the fuck sweet pea" you asks. By this time the others have finished their cigarettes and went back inside.
"Princess I never meant for this to happen" he says reaching out for your hand
"For what to happen? The smoking or me finding out?" You ask sassily. Before he could respond you yell "don't wait up for me, I'm sleeping somewhere else tonight" before turning your bike on and speeding off leaving a very sad sweet pea behind.
