You and Betty walked into the office. you were called down there a few minutes before. As you approach the counter you see a bouquet of flowers in front of the receptionist.
"Are those for y/n?" Betty asks the receptionist. The receptionist nodded. You inspect the flowers and find a note on top.
'I'm sorry' the note read.
"Who's it from?" Betty asks taking the note from your hands
"Take a guess" you say.
"I remember last time I got apology flowers, they were from Veronica" Betty scoffs in realization.
"Veronica" you sigh out.
"Hi" you hear from the door behind you. You turn around to see Veronica. Without saying anything she holds up a magnolia bakery box.
"Flowers and magnolia cupcakes. The 'I'm sorry I kissed Archie' apology pack." Betty says.
"Y/n, can we talk?" She asks looking at you.
"Fine" you breathe out "pops after school" you say crossing your arms.
"I'll see you then" Veronica says and smiles with hope before leaving you and Betty alone.
"You're not actually gonna give her a second chance are you?" Betty asks.
"Betts I need to know they actually have feeling for each other. I'd understand more if they had feelings for each other than if they were just fucking around." You say as you take the flowers off the counter and head out of the office.
"That's very big of you y/n" Betty says sounding proud. You've reached your locker and opened it, placing the flowers on the floor.
"Besides now I know Archie and I were never gonna end up together, we weren't right for each other" you say closing your locker.
"How do you know?" Betty asks. You turn to face her.
"Because I found who's right for me" you say smiling.
"Who?!" Betty asks sounding excited
"Sweet pea. The night it all happened, when he drove me home. We kissed and it felt right. It was perfect." You say, your smile growing wider. Before either of you could say anything the bell rang. You and Betty say goodbye and you head your separate ways. You had your next class with Archie. You hesitate going in the classroom, contemplating skipping. In that moment you feel a hand on your shoulder. Startled you turned around to see it's only sweet pea. 
"You okay?" He asks. You nod. He makes his way into the classroom. You follow him suddenly feeling more comfortable. Instead of taking your usual seat next to Archie, you take an empty seat in the back next to sweet pea. Archie looks up as you pass his desk. He looks at you confused. As you take your seat next to sweet pea, Archie's confusion turns to sadness.
Throughout the lesson you caught Archie looking back at you every so often. Sweet pea must have seen it too because he put a protective arm around your shoulder. Archie gives you a confused look before turning his head back to the teacher.
Once the bell rings, you start packing up your things. You see someone approach your desk out of the corner of your eye.
"Y/n can we talk please" Archie asks. Before you can say anything, sweet pea butts in.
"Nah man she doesn't want to talk to you." He says crossing his arms.
"It's okay sweet pea. I'll meet you in the student lounge" he looks between you and Archie before walking off.
"Y/n look I'm sorry" Archie starts.
"Do you love her?" You ask cutting him off. Archie looks taken aback.
"Yeah" He says hanging his head in shame.
"Archie, I'm not mad. I mean who were we kidding. I'm a serpent, you're a north sider. As long as you love her and weren't doing it for a quick fuck I'm alright. Plus I got sweet pea now so it's all good" you say before moving around him to walk out.
" wait sweet pea? You're with that asshole?" He questions. His jaw is locked and he looks angry.
"Archie stop okay. You don't get to be mad. I'm happy with sweet pea okay just let me be happy" you say leaving a mad looking Archie with steam coming out of his ears.
