It has been a long summer for you so far. You and Betty have been helping Mrs. Andrews prepare the defenses case. It's been a lot of late nights, sometimes you would have to stay at Betty's house just because it was convenient. You, Betty, Archie, and jughead have been best friends for as long as you could remember and you wanted to help Archie prove his innocence.

*sweet pea's POV*
Y/n has been so busy trying to free Archie , I had to keep myself occupied. Josie and I have been hooking up for a few weeks now. It all started about a month after school ended. I was bored and y/n wasn't around and Josie was looking to blow off some steam about her parents divorce. Was it wrong? Abso-fucking-lutely but if y/n was gonna spend all her time rescuing Archie, I might as well have some fun while she's not around.

*2nd pov*
At first your boyfriend sweet pea didn't like that you were so busy trying to help Archie instead of spending summer break with him but as time went on, he seemed to have stopped caring which normally would have made you paranoid but all your attention and energy went into freeing Archie.
You headed down Cheryl's driveway on the way to the pool party.
You find your way to the backyard where everyone was. As you for closer to the pool you see a familiar muscular back sitting in the pool with a girl. You were unsure if it was sweet pea so you got closer. You weren't sure until you heard the guy speak.
"Hey Josie, never thought I'd say this but I'm kinda excited for school to start back up." Sweet pea says causing Josie to giggle " mostly cause I'll get to see you in the halls everyday"
"Uh, sweet pea, I told you when we started this, our summer fling was gonna be just that. A fling. With a 3 month expiration date." Josie says leaning away from sweet pea who got closer to her.
"Yeah, I know but haven't we been having a good time?" Sweet pea asks leaning in even closer
"I'm not saying we haven't but nothing, not even a tall, cool drink of sweet water like you" Josie says trailing her finger down sweet peas chest. Their faces were dangerously close. "Is gonna distract me from my music"
They share a kiss before Josie gets up to go somewhere else. When she turns around, she sees you standing there speechless.
"Y/n" she says with guilt and surprise. Sweet peas head snapped around. He was quick to his feet. You don't say anything to her "
I'm so sorry y/n" she says.
"Josie leave" you say coldly
"Yeah ok" she says before bowing her head and walking off.

*2 hours later*
You just got out of the shower when you heard the front door open.
"Y/n"  sweet pea says from his place at the door. "I've been looking all over for you" he says.
"Well you found me" you say. Currently you were in a tank top and pj shorts.
"I'm sorry" he starts "I'm so so sorry"
"Just tell me why" you ask. "Was I not enough? Are you bored of me? Do you not love me anymore?"
"Honestly, I was pissed off that you were spending so much time trying to free Andrews. Josie was pissed off about her parents divorce and we got drunk and it just kind of happened." He says, guilt on his face.
"How long?" You ask
"Beginning of summer" he says before bowing his head.
"Well. Have a nice life sweet pea" you say before going into your room and starting to pack.
"Please don't leave me y/n! I'm so sorry. Please I need you!" Sweet pea begs once he sees you packing.
"I don't know how I can forgive you sweet pea. You cheated on me. That's unforgivable." You say as you continue packing. Sweet pea grabs your wrist to stop you. You turn to face him.
"Please I love you so much. I regret everything. Please just give me a chance to make it up to you" He pleads. He looked like a sad puppy and it broke your heart.
"Fine sweet pea but if you screw up again I'm out. For good" you warn him. You were probably going to regret giving him another chance but he had this affect on you and you just couldn't walk away.
