"Y/n I have to go!" Sweet pea groans at your protest.
"But baby it's cold outside, FP can't be having you do a job now, it freezing . Anymore than 5 minutes out there will give you frostbite" you try to reason. In reality you just wanted him to stay in bed with you and cuddle.
"Y/n I would if I could but this is an important job. Fangs, jughead and I were told that we were the only ones that FP trusted enough to do this job and I can't risk FP loosing trust in me" He says before sighing.
"I'm sure fangs and jughead could handle it themselves. Come on baby it's cold outside and I wanna cuddle" you say before giving him your best puppy dog face. He lets out a big sigh before sitting on your side of the bed. You smile up at him as one hand reaches to comb through your hair.
"Baby I can't" he says, you see a flash of sadness and regret in his eyes.
"But sweet pea it's Christmas Eve!!!" You whine even more.
"Oh is it? It's not the middle of July?" He says sarcastically causing you both to laugh. You hit him playfully.
"Okay after that sarcasm I'm not sure if I want you here. Just get out of here" you say while laughing.
"I'll be back before you know it baby! Then we can cuddle in bed for the rest of the month" he says joining in on your laughter.
"Mmmhmmm. Get out of here before I change my mind and drag you back to bed."
"I love you y/n" he says poking his head in the bedroom doorway.
"I love you too sweets" you say not looking at him but instead cuddling back under the many blankets on the bed, trying to warm yourself up as much as possible.
'Fuck' you thought to yourself  'it's really fucking cold outside'
