"Y/n you're 7 months pregnant we don't need a puppy and a baby" sweet pea whines as he throws himself down on the couch in your shared trailer.
"But sweet pea think about this. Our son and a puppy playing together. Just like a dog is a man's best friend- a puppy is a baby's" you smile as you try to convince sweet pea.
"Y/n I'll be at work each day. It will be just you a dog and a baby" he says
"Is there supposed to be a negative in that sentence? That sounds amazing" you laugh
"You, our son and a puppy alone in the house without me sounds amazing?" He asks playfully offended.
"Pllleeeeaaasssseeee sweets I want a little pupper" you say pouting giving him your puppy dog face.
"Fine we'll go this weekend" he groans giving up.

*Saturday afternoon*
"Puppy day puppy day puppy day puppy day ITS PUPPY DAY!!" You say excitedly. As soon as you enter the place you see this adorable little guy.

You and sweet pea both instantly fall in love. You ask about the puppy and luckily he just got there the night before and has not been adopted ( probably because you were the first ones through the doors when they opened)
You fill out the forms and pay for everything the little guy needs.
"What should his name be?" Sweets asked as you drove back to your trailer in his truck.
"Aww lets name him Finn. He looks like a Finn." You say excited.
"Welcome home Finn" Sweet pea says parking his truck in front of your trailer.

*almost 3 months later*
You haven't seen Finn in almost 2 days as Betty was watching him as you gave birth to your beautiful baby boy Max. Finn although curious was very gentle and you knew Finn and Max would become best friends immediately. When you walk in, Finn starts going nuts. With his favorite toy ( which of course was a snake) in his mouth as a present to welcome you home. When he saw the baby is the car seat he stops slightly. He starts sniffing the baby. After a few seconds you see Finn's tail wag faster as he drops his toy in the car seat, giving the sleeping boy a gift.

*a couple days later*
You were cleaning the house as both little boys were sleeping. Sweet pea came in the door.
"Hey babe" sweet pea says in a normal tone voice before you shushed him. Sweet pea entering caused both Max and Finn to wake up. Finn waved his tail and greeted sweet pea and Max started crying because he was woken up from a nap. When Finn heard Max start crying, he walked away from sweet pea and walked towards the rocking seat where Max was sleeping (like for the video above) and hopped into the seat with him. Max stopped crying instantly, laying his head on the pupper who has rested his head on the young boy's chest. All cuddled up, the boy and the puppy were asleep. You and sweet pea look at the scene then look at each other. You couldn't believe the cuteness. The puppy was your little boy's best friend.
