As Kensley walked out the door of her childhood home she was already thinking of the long drive out of town she didn't want to stay in her hometown any longer than she had too , But she needed to see her Best Friends Chase, Madeline , Brantley and Sammy before she left

Her Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde Of a Mother is the main reason she is fleeing well technically her Mother is her Aunt Kensley found that out by accident when she was cleaning out some old boxes from the basement when she found her original birth certificate and the death certificate of her birth mother
When she confronted her "Mother " Kensley was hit and told never to speak about it again

As Kensley got into her Chevy Trax which with the help of Brantley and Chase she bought on her own after working the past four summers and through the school years

Pulling out of the driveway she headed to Brantley's house it's 2 am and no one is on the streets so it's a quick drive over she had to wait until her Mother passed out before she could leave

" Honey I'm Home " Kensley said as she walked into Brantley's house

" In Here Babygirl "Brantley said his gravely voice sounded upset

Walking into the kitchen she sees all of them
Madeline comes over to her hugs her
" I'm going to miss you but I know you have to go or she will kill you " Madeline cries on her shoulder

"Don't Maddie Boo I'll be okay when I get settled I'll let you all know where I end up so you can come see me besides we have face time and texting " Kensley says

" Babygirl here is a thermos full of coffee , I want you to call me when you stop for the night or morning depending on how far you get to tell me what hotel you are at , I have put cash in an envelope use it When you get to Charleston let Chase know so that he can set up your bank account for you We have some contacts down there they will help you get your apartment set up and a job The Anderson and Dr Roberts both numbers are in your new phone leave your old one here , Sammy has gone through your car to make sure there is no tracking devices like last time your Mother did that "

" I can't thank you enough all of you for all the help and love you have given me I'm truly going to miss you " Kensley says with tears in her eyes

7 hours later Kensley stopped for the day she still had 5 to 6 hours to go but her eyes were closing to much so she pulled into a Hotel that Brantley sent to her when she told him she was stopping all she had to do is go in and get her room key
As her head hit the pillow Kensley finally felt safe from her Mother she smiled as sleep came in fast

After getting up and showering Kensley left the next day and made it to Charleston SC and to the meeting location
As she waited for the call to say the Anderson crew was there she watched the sea gulls fly around squawking and the waves crash along the shore line

Her phone rang
" Hello "
" Little Bird We are here "

Kensley got out of the car and saw four men the size of linebackers get out of a truck then a small woman got out
The biggest of the men took the woman's hand as they walked over to her

" So your the little bird Brantley said needed help I'm Liam and the ones with me are Henry , Harry and Jack along with our Bird Lilly " Liam said

" She's cute " The one named Henry said

She couldn't help the blush that came across her cheeks

" Don't go embarrassing her " Lilly said " I'm Lilly and don't mind them that sometimes act like 12 yr olds We have your apartment set up and ready for you " she added

Kensley has been in Charleston for six months now a few things have changed she Went and applied to culinary school and began to work at Bobs Diner
And tonight she's headed out on a date with a Guy she met at the diner North Taylor

Standing at her closet trying to find something to wear she face times Madeline for help to which she picked out a jean skirt a red Tank Top and a Black Cardigan with her white chucks it wasn't a fancy date it was a casual one

There is a knock at her door so she goes to answer it Peaking through the Peep Hole she sees
North he fills up the whole peep hole he looked so sexy his wearing a Black Under Amour shirt that hugs his chest muscles and a pair of Black jeans black boots

Opening the door
" Hey North "
North's eyes travel up and down Kensleys body checking every inch of her out then a smile graces his face
"Hello Kensley you look beautiful " He says
" Thank you let me grab my keys and purse and we can go " Kensley says
" No hurry " he says

They spent the night playing pool listening to music and riding in Norths Jeep
When the night ended North went up with her to her apartment
Kensley was standing at the door with her back to it

" I had a really good time tonight " Kensley says
" Me too " North days back his eyes are searching Kensleys and saw just what he wanted

Leaning down his lips press against hers for a moment then he nips her bottom lip she squeals a little then opens her mouth for him
His tongue slides in the kiss went from soft to demanding in a second with North taking full control of it
Kensleys Hands were gripping Norths hips as the kiss deepens and got more intense

Pulling away from her so they could breath
" I have been wanting to do that all night , Now Kensleys go on in and get some rest I'll see you a 4 weeks I have to head out of town but I will call you when I get back but I will text you everyday " North said

" Be careful North " Kensley says as she goes into her apartment

Kensley went to work two days later she was half way through her shift when two handsome men came in one with long brown hair and almond eyes dressed very casual the other with black rimmed glasses an Grey eyes dressed in a suit

She waited on them since they were at one of her tables

" Hello Gentlemen I'm Kensley I'll be serving you today do you know what you will want to drink "

" I'll have an Iced Tea " Almond Eyes says
" I'll have a cup of Coffee and Water " the suit guy says

Getting both and coming back sitting them on the table for them Kensleys then got their order taken and put it in for Uncle to cook

As she waited for the food Kensely sat down at one of the open booths and began to roll silverware
As she was rolling it her phone went off with a text
It was from Brantley

Hey Babygirl how's things going
Good Bran I'm currently rolling silverware at the diner
Sounds like so much fun
It is I'm just busting at the seems with joy

Well I do have a reason why I am texting right now Your Mother stopped by yesterday again asking if we knew where you had gone to She said that if we knew where you were that she Would have us arrested and I asked for what her response was because you are under age and not an adult she is your guardian to which I replied Um last time I checked you were 18 were legally an adult she stomped out of the house

Great that's all I need Hold on a second or two I have go get The food for the table I have

Kensely went and got the food for the table brought it over placed it on the table and refilled the drinks
" Do you need anything else " Kensley asked
" No not right now " Almond eyes said

The bell rang above the door Kensley turns to see Henry and Jack come in

"Hey Guys " Kensleys said with a smile

"Well hello Little Birdie" Henry says as he gives her a hug
"yes Little Birdie hello " Jack says as he hugs her too

"We came by to find out if you wanted to come by the house this weekend to see Lilly and have a sleepover again " Henry asked

"Sure but I have to work Sunday " Kensley said to them

" Okay Liam can make sure your up " Henry said

" Are y'all here to eat or just to talk " Kensley said

" To Eat " Jack said with a laugh

Kensley let out laugh knowing full well that was the answer Before she even asked

She took their order and put it in as she turned around she saw Henry and Jack talking to the two men at her other table

" So Axel did you get the information I sent you" Jack asked
Almond eyes answered " Yeah I did and thank you it helped with issue "

Ah so his name is Axel Kensley thought to herself

" Hey Kensley come on over I want you to meet theses two " Henry says as he waves her over

" This one is Axel Toma and the one in the stuffy suit is Owen BlackBourne " Henry says with a grin

" Hello " she says But before she could say anything Else her phone dinged with a text message so she pulled it out of her apron pocket

Babygirl Just got word that your Mother was at the Police station filling a missing persons report on you

Looking up Kensleys see all four looking at her
" Henry here read " she says as she hands the phone to him

Henry reads it then pulls his phone out texting away

"When do you get off " Henry asked
" In about an Hour "
" Jack you stay her then bring her back to the house until we figure out what to do " Henry said
" What is going on " Axel asked

Kensely didn't Hear the answer because Uncle hollered food was up so she went to get it
When she brought it back and put it on the table

"change of plans Axel here is going to take you to the Aquarium for a little while and don't worry you can trust him " Henry said

An hour later Kensleys was in a truck with a guy she just met and was actually comfortable with him he drove them to the Aquarium parking he took her hand as the walked to the doors and scan a card it opens the doors and he lets her go in first then he retakes  her hand
" Don't want to lose you in here " he says with a soft smile that actually reaches his eyes
She lets out a laugh but continues on with him

They spent over three hours in the aquarium and Kensely had so much fun learning the different sea creatures and how the ecosystem works
" Liam just texted We can head to their place now " Axel said
" Could we get something to eat I forgot to eat lunch this afternoon and my belly is about to "
It growls so loudly Kensleys blushes
Axel lets out a hardy laugh
" Okay I'll feed you next time speak up I don't need you getting that hungry again "

When they arrived at The Anderson's place he walked her to the door
" I'll text Liam later to check on you " he says as he brushes the hair of Kensleys shoulder then lays his hand on it

" Oaky thank for this afternoon I had a lot of fun "
" I did too " Axel replies as he moves his hand to cup the back of her head

He leans in and places a soft kiss on her lips but Kensleys wanted more so she nipped his lip
Axel responded and took over the kiss leaving her breathless when it ended

" See you around Little Birdie " he says as he leaves her on the steps of the Anderson house

Life got even more crazy for Kensely she seem to meet a different guy each day and they each asked her out to different things and she went out with each one of them in the past month and half she has gone out with 14 different guys including the one that was with Axel at the diner Owen he took her to a classical music concert that she actually enjoyed
But she only kissed one of them that was the Russian Guy and it wasn't because she didn't want to kiss the others the opportunity never came with them The Russian just took the kiss when he left
