Aiden's pov :

"Clinton and Amanda. And these are Davis and Meredith, we know each other from university, the twins are five, Michael and Christopher."
"Nice to meet you, I'm Kathleen Bishop."
So far so good, she hadn't expected exactly a barbecue night, but at least she didn't look disappointed. I want her to know that I can be an ordinary person, not just drag her to fine restaurants and bars. Besides, Brian was obviously having fun with the twins.
"Welcome to the family, Kathleen, if you have a problem with this donkey, give me a call!" if Amanda has decided to give my girl advice on relationships, I'd better buy a sleeping bag now!
"I'll have it in mind!" Well, no, now if Meredith gets involved, I'm lost! Did I tell you I like Kathleen's smile? At the moment she was smiling softly at me and my cock was starting to lift head. I don't know how she does it, but Kathleen had the unique ability to excite me with just a glance. Or maybe it's because of the feeling of a new relationship? I can't, and I don't need an explanation, at least as long as Kathleen doesn't refuse me sex.
"Just look at yourself!" and it started!
"What?" Dylan has decided to harass me, in fact, since I've told him that Kathleen and I have a relationship.
"Obviously you like the role of father and husband, I'm just saying!" Don't raise your hands at all, you idiot, I'll hit you again!
"It's nice, you have to try it too!" I hit it anyway! And strong! He found exactly who to joke with.
"And?"
"What?"
"How's the sex?"
"Do you want me to show you? Take your pants off!"
"Wow, so nice?"
"You know you're talking about my girlfriend and I'm going to twist your neck in a little while, don't you?"
"Are you jealous?" is he really surprised?
"Do you even see her?"
"She's pretty."
"I know and it's mine"
I'm jealous. What can I do. Kathleen is a beautiful woman and attracts men's attention, although she apparently doesn't realize it or doesn't care. Probably if I hadn't been Brian's father, I wouldn't have had a chance either, even though she likes me. I still haven't forgotten how she behaved and dumped me in the restaurant on our first date. Okay, business meeting, but I still tried to take her down, and she showed me the door! In fact, I think she would do it even now. Are women always so suspicious of men who offer them a future? Or is it because she thinks I'm in a hurry?
I don't think it's hasty, though, I'm not proposing marriage to her. I mean, we already have a son, what's wrong with trying a serious relationship? Why didn't she just relax and trust me? I thought that women are the ones who consider a relationship serious after the first sleep. And I was already fucking her, and while our son was sleeping in the next room, we had breakfast together, as a family, how much more serious should I look?

Kathleen's pov :

It's funny, Brian is happy, and I can watch Aiden in his natural environment. I wonder what Dylan told him to get hit like that.
"Can you help me?"
Meredith handed me the salad bowl, and I set it in the middle of the table, looking at the children.
"Come on guys, we're hungry!" Amanda shouted, and I looked at Clinton and Davis, who were wandering around the huge barbecue drinking beer. Clinton sent an air kiss to Amanda, who just snorted "Fuck you" and sat down heavily on one of the chairs.
"Are there any problems in heaven again?" Meredith asked, and Amanda rolled her eyes. Apparently she and Clinton often quarreled, but it was obvious that they loved each other. No one looks at the other the way they look at each other if there is no love, right? Call me romantic, but it's true. Clinton looked at her as if a god had fulfilled his inner dream, and she was his treasure, and Amanda with annoyance but shining eyes.
"Keep the table!" Meredith growled.
What? God, I have two children! Why? Aiden is currently chasing Dylan around the table with an angry face, while Dylan is grinning like an idiot.
"Brian, no!" Damn it! I ran just in time before Dylan could attack my son, who apparently wants to protect his father.
"Is he okay?"
"Which one of you wants to die first?" I asked before letting go of Brian and chasing Aiden and Dylan. Laugh as much as you want, but it's really fun, I haven't laughed like that since I don't remember when!
"Catch him!" Amanda laughed and blocked Aiden's path, Dylan bumped into his back and Aiden nearly fell on the poor girl. However, I stumbled upon a toy. Believe me, I screamed like Dr. Jekyll was chasing me!
"Kat!" Oooh, a drama scene! Aiden pushed the surprised Dylan away and grabbed me, then picked me up, and now I was looking down on him, laughing like a child.
"Did you hit yourself?" I shook my head and leaned down to kiss him.
"Uuuuuu" I heard Brian's disgusting voice rise. "They do it all the time, disgusting!" he said to the twins, and they nodded in agreement, nodding no less disgustingly at us. So how can you not laugh at that?
"Is that it?" Aiden grinned at Brian, whose eyes widened in horror as he pulled my head away and kissed me as I burst out laughing.
"Let her go, mom is just mine!" Brian started hitting Aiden on the legs, and he bent down and picked him up, I hugged him to keep him from falling, and now we were both hanging in Aiden's arms.
"I'm sorry, champion, but you're going to have to share because I have no intention of leaving you any more!" Brian frowned and stared at his father, who laughed and began to make snoring noises in his stomach.

Author's pov :

"They really look great together." Davis said, sipping his beer. "Man, you've been married too long!" Clinton grinned, but he was also watching the newlyweds and their son. "Honey, is it ready, the kids are hungry?" Davis leaned over and kissed Meredith, who hugged him across the waist. "What do you think?" he asked, and his wife looked at Aiden and Kathleen, who were tickling Brian and the twins together.
"I like her, and obviously Aiden. And Brian is just charming, it's obvious who his father is. They look happy, I hope Aiden doesn't ruin everything by putting too much pressure on her." Meredith smiled at him and stood up to kiss him again. "Why do you always blame us for everything ?!" Clinton frowned and looked at Amanda, who was still angry with him, not knowing why. "Because this is the mission of your life, Clint, to bear the guilt!" she laughed, and the two men snorted in unison, to the contrary.
