"You look hot."

I glare at him and overlap each sides of my grey sweater cover up my white tank top and grey shorts.

"Aw, don't be like that babe." He picks me up bridal style and carries me to my room. "I'm just stating facts. I'm sorry you are sick. I'm going to hopefully make you feel all better or at least try my hardest. Okay?" He gently lays me down on the bed.

"Okay," I whisper and he kisses my forehead.

"I'll be back in a few minutes. I'm going to make you food."

I turn my TV on and play I'm Not Ashamed. I pause the movie every time I go into a coughing fit. I keep a box of tissues within arms reach because I don't want to be a gross, snot-y girlfriend.

Ty comes back in my room carrying a mug in one hand and a plate with three grilled cheese sandwiches on it. I sit up and cross my legs before taking the mug filled with tomato soup and setting the plate on my bed. He walks back out for a few seconds and brings back two sprites. He settles beside me on my bed and hands me my Sprite. Then sets his in the floor by bed. He glances at my TV.

"This is a sad movie." He frowns.

I place my box of tissues in between us. "I'm prepared," I sniffle.

He rests his head on my shoulder. "I wish you felt better." We sit there for a minute before he pauses the movie. "Set your mug down. I want to do something."

I raise an eyebrow, but do as he says. He grabs my hands and intertwines our fingers. "Jesus," he begins with his eyes closed. I mouth drops open in shock. "My girl is sick as you know. I feel really helpless because I can't heal her, but I know you can. I'm putting my trust in you that you will strengthen her and build her immune system back up. Help us to be wise in the decisions we make together and apart. Bless this food and nourish it to our bodies. Help us to love you more each day. Amen."

"Amen," I whisper as a couple tears slide down my face.

Tyrone's eyes widen. "Why are you crying?"

I smile and shake my head. "I've gotten so caught up in my life that I forgot that Jesus was still apart of it. Thank you." I wrap my arms around him and he holds me tight.

"I was so nervous," he says and laughs shakily.

I smile and rub his back. "It's just me. Remember when we were kids and you would to take me to church?" He nods. "Maybe we should go again before you leave."

He smiles. "I'd like that."

"Now let's it before the food gets cold!"

AFTER MOVIE

Ty quickly wipes his tears away and I use a tissue to wipe mine away.

"That movie is heartbreaking," Ty whimpers.

"I know," I wrap my arms around him. "You should probably go home and pack."

"No," he groans and tightens his grip around me.

"Ty."

He sits up and stares deep into my eyes. "No, Harper. I need this. It's going to be so hard leaving. All I ask is for a few more days. Please." He pauses. "Plus i can't leave on a depressing note. We should watch a more upbeat movie."

"Like what?"

"AND EVERYBODY SAID JUICY WIGGLE!"

"ALLVVIIINNNN!

"UPTOWN FUNK IT UP UPTOWN FUNK IT UP!"

"AAALLLVVVIIINNNNNNNNN!" Ty and I scream together.

"SO SAY GERONIMO SAY GERONIMO!"

"TURN DOWN FOR WHAT TURN DOWN FOR WHAT!"

"I want donuts."

"YOU ARE MY HOME HOME HOME!"

"SAY MY NAME YOU KNOW WHO I AM!"

"HARPER! HARPER! HARPER!"

"SHUT UP YOU HOOLIGANS!"

We laugh our butts off at my mom's response to our horrible singing/screaming. I calm down after a few minutes and get comfy in my bed. "Goodnight, Ty."

"Goodnight, my sweet Harp." He plays with my hair causing me to fall asleep quickly.
