Mono moved his flashlight around the library, looking about. His mind started to complain, for all he could see was books, books and more books. He felt that if he was to see one more book he would explode. He and Six had been wondering aimlessly through the library looking for where that previous wind noise had come from. There was no ventilation in this room, so Mono knew it had to be either a door or a masive hole in the wall. Grunting with frustration, Mono looked towards Six. Her fox neatly tucked in her singular pocket. She also seemed sick of this room. Her mouth flat and bored. The two met eyes, quickly Mono looked away.

Creak! The noise sounded close. Glancing at eachother, they both followed the noise. As they reached the section where the noise came from, Mono almost cried with joy. There, in front of their tired forms, was a slightly opened door with faint light shining through. Switching his flashlight off, Mono placed it in his pocket opposite of where he had kept the small shard of glass. Six want up to the door and slowly squeezed through the crack. Why didn't she try to push it open more? Curious, Mono followed Six. He attempted to push the door open but it didn't budge. But it must've moved before for it to make a creaking noise? Slightly freaked, Mono caught up with Six.

Not even a second passed by before the door slammed shut, making an echoing effect occur. Swiftly, he looked back at the door, shivering. "Okay, thats creepy," Mono trembled. Next to him Six nodded looking back at the door as well. Shaking his head, Mono contiued forward away from the haunted door. The two seemed to be in a hallway of some sorts. The walls covered in peeling green wallpaper, the wooden floor boards moving under every foot step. As a soft gust of wind came howling through the hall, Mono winced as Six pinched her nose shut. An overwhelming smell hit their noses. It was so powerful, Mono couldn't even identify what the smell was.

As the two turned around a corner, a horrifying sight lay before them. Six squeaked like a mouse, snatching onto Mono's arm. The Teachers head lay severed from her body. Her eyes rolled back, red veins climbing up her discoloured eyes. Her jaw twisted as it slumbed over her upper jaw while her skin flopped over her face. Where her neck was severed, bled a black and green type off blood. Her body, not to far from her head, limp and odly swollen.Welp, now I know what the smell is. Mono pushed back a gag by covering his mouth with his free hand. Shuddering Mono patted Six's shoulder. "Come on, we need to - move on," he roughly whispered.

Lifting his head, Mono heard hushed voices from ahead. They sounded high pitched and childish. Without thinking, Mono pulled on Six's arm and hid her in the shodows behind the corner. His body covering her's like a shield. His eyes sharpened as the voices came closer. Peering from around the corner, still covering Six, he watched as two students walked up to the teachers body. Their big heads shining under the faint light. The kids looked at the teachers body but odly enough didn't cry or scream. They cheered. Their high pitched screams pierced, Mono's ears. The children high fived eachother before they started to walk back where they came from. However one stopped. It turned its head and stared directly at where Mono and Six hid. It stalked closer to the two, reaching its hand out. But stopped as their counter part called for them. The students hand was bare millimeters from Monos face. The kids fingers curled before turning and creeping away.

A deep sigh escaped from Mono's lips. Too close. Carefully, Mono moved from covering Six and moved out of the shadows. He looked around, checking if it was safe. Once reassured it was safe, Mono motioned for Six to silently come. Looking at Six Mono saw how she fiddled with her hands. Shrugging it off as nerves, Mono whispered, "lets follow them." Six's posture froze. "Oh. Come now Six. We gotta see what they are up to. And besides, it might lead to what you're looking for." It took a moment for Six to reply, but she soon nodded. A gentle gaze fell of Mono's hidden face. He steadily held onto Six's hand. Six looked up at Mono and he nodded, silently telling her 'its okay'.

Cautiously, the two stalked the two students. Never letting go of eachothers hands. They stayed in the shadows, miraculously avoiding every creaky floor board. Mono and Six stopped in perfect sync as the two students wandered into another room. The door slightly opened, just enough for the two to pass by with ease. The light comming from the room was bright and evenly matched with the amount of noise that was sounding from the room. Rushing over the the other side of the hallway, the two peeked their heads through the door. Mono was temporarily blinded from the bright light, but once his gaze adjusted, he wished it didn't. Students of the same looks and size crowded the room. They were everywhere in the room. Dancing on the long wooden table, messing around with the pots of soup, drowning eachother in their own bowls of food, all screaming and laughing. It was utter chaos.

Mono's face was twisted in disgust. He glanced at Six, who looked back. He waited for her opinion on the situation and she shruged. Just as confused as him. We need to fins a way past them but how. Searching the room, Mono's eyes fall on hanging lamps on the ceiling. Next to him, Six nudges him. He looks at her. She points over to a bunch of crooked shelfs, that made a perfect type of ramp to reach the lights. The problem was that it was in the same room as the crazy students.

Knowning it was the only way, he lightly pulls on their intertwined hands. She gazes at him and she nods, understanding. Mono lets go of Six's hands and sneaks over to the broken shelving. With every step he fekt his heart beat faster. Once at the bottom of the shelving he motions for Six. Six copies exactly what Mono did. Once she reached him, A student that danced around laughed before opeening his eyes, staring directly at Mono and Six. They froze like statues. The student however turned away and went back to messing around. The mask! It hinders their vision! Mono smirked and dipped his head to Six. Together they steadily started to ascend.

Safely, the two reached the top. Only once at the top did Mono relises how high they were and how spread out the lights were. Holy crap! Oh, no no no. I can find a much better idea. Mainly one without the chance of falling to our doom. Mono backed from the edge of the sigular shelf. He shook his head. Six tilted her head at Mono. He looked at her and mouthed, 'hell no'. Even if Mono couldn't see Six's eyes, he could tell that she rolled her eyes. She moved next to the trembling Mono, and bumed his shoulder with hers. He looked down and she had a small smile on her face. Her words delicate as she murmered to Mono, "Remeber... I... am right... behind you." Mono looked at her. Impressed thet her voice was starting to sound slightly clearer.

He watched as Six nodded. Filled with new determination, Mono moved from hugging the wall to the middle of the shelf. He shook his hands and head, preparing for his possible death. Exhailing, Mono's eyes opened and he leapt. His hands grapped onto the warm metal surface of the lights cover. He pulled himself up ontop of the light, crawling on his hands and knees and let go of a held breath. Looking behind he saw Six preparing to jump. Nodding to himslef, Mono stood up and went for the next light, and the next and the next. Until he reached the other side. He landed perfectly onto a vent duct. The metal cool under his feet.

Huffing out hot air, Mono gazed back towards Six. He watched as she gracefully, grapped onto the last light. But as she started to pull herself up, the staples that held the lights wire in place started to unhook. Six held onto the light as it came crashing down. Mono's heart leaped from his chest. A loud smash rung in his ears. Falling onto his knees, Mono looked over the egde of the vent duct. His eyes scanning every inch where Six fell. His mind raced as his heart pounded with fear. All the students started to close in on the wreckage. Come on Six. You gotta be fine. Like she heard his prayer, Six pushed a peice of the wooden table off her chest and she sat up. She waved her hand infront of her face clearing the dust around her away as she coughed. Mono felt his tense muscles relaxe, before they stiffened again. His knuckles turning white as he grasped onto the side of the duct.

"SIX RUN!" The students came bolting in her direction like a stampede. Mono anxiously watched as Six sprinted away. Rushed in his motions. Mono teared the vents cover from below him off and he dropped inside. He quickly followed Six through the vents. Peeking through every cover that he came across under him. Deciding to go ahead, Mono was thinking of a way to stop the kids from catching Six. Before anything came to his mind, a vent cover from under him crumbled and he fell. Luckily a wooden table was there to catch him. Winded for a few moments, Mono searched his suroundings. He saw pots and pans, sinks and dirty dishes. This must be the kitchen. Next to his winded body was a ladle. That should work.

He heard as the stampede of kids came closer. Pushing himself onto his feet, Mono snatched the ladle up and swung it in a ready position. The second Six rushed through the door Mono pounced, instantly smashing the first kids head. One by one, Mono smashed their fragile bodies. After the first few Mono stared to tire. The ladle starting to feel more and more like a brick with every swing. His head snapped in the direction of Six as she whistled. Mono follwed he pointing finger. His gaze lead to a food hatch. Nice! Swinging once more, Mono threw his ladle knocking over at least three student. With rapid maneuvers, Mono held onto Six's hand and they both sprung into the food hatch. They watched as the hood closed and sent them down. It was smooth and quick ride with the hatch opening moments later. Mono looked about the open space. It was dark besides for a singular light that shone down on a yellow raincoat. The white tiles undreneath only helping the yellow raincoat to pop out more.

Mono feels Six let go of his hand and observes as she hopps down from the hatch and runs to the raincoat. She smoothly pulls it onto her shoulders and slithers her arms through the sleeves. She slowly grabs the hood and yanks it down over her face. Mono has an empathetic smile, as he looks at her. When the box he is in wobbles, Mono stiffins. From above his head, he can hear how the kids are jumping down the shoot and landing ontop of the box. Hissing and spitting.

Mono stumbles from the food elevator and rushes next to Six, snatching onto her hand. Six opened her mouth to speak but before she could say word, the buzzing of a static television switched on. Mono hears the children making their way towards them and pulls Six towards the television. With his free hand he quickly touches the glass screen. He felt his form twist and turn as he was sucked into the device.
