Mono and Six peeked over the top of the books. Analysing as the Teacher twister her head in unnatural ways, hunting the two down. Mono gulped before positioning himself back into a crouching position. His good hand continued to hold Six's hand. It honestly calmed him and Six most importantly. Her hand was warm and fitted in Mono's hand perfectly. Mono continued to cuddle Six to comfort her. Why is she so scared of this lady? Is there history? Six shuddering stopped a few seconds ago after Mono started to hug her, but fear was still radiating off her. Holding his sore arm close, his head started to search for a way out, not moving his chin from ontop of Six's head. Her hair was soft and tickled Mono's chin from under his mask. Not wanting to make Six panic, Mono remained as still as possible. There must be a way out.
Whosh! A rushing whistle of wind peirced through Mono's skull. It clicked. A whistle of wind generally means of a ventilation system. A way out! Squeezing on Six's hand in reassurance, Mono cautiously lifted his resting chin from her head. He peered over the books, roughly guessing where the wind came from as well as checking upon the teacher. The air was think and covered in flying grey dust making it hard to see. From what Mono could tell she was near an old looking wooden desk covered in files and papers, along with a random half eatin apple. Her head had moved closer to her body, appearing slightly more normal. Despite the fact that it twisted like an owls head. Her guard is down! Perfect!
Gazing back at Six, he gently pressed on her hand with his. She turned to him. Small parts of her hair falling out of her eyes. Upset that it was too dark to see Six's eye colour, Mono shook the thought away. Mono opens his mouth to speak but instantly shuts it. Six trembled in his hand. She was terrified. The situation, the atmosphere, the thing that is in the same room as them made her want to cry. Giving a symlathetic look, Mono mentally grumbled to himself. Flip man. Why do I feel so bad for her? Stupid me. I'm gonna get myself killed. Silently sighing, Mono whispered, "you stay here. Don't move until I say run. Okay?" Six looked down and nodded. "I need you to get up to the top of that shelf." Unwilling, Mono let go of her hand and turned his body away ready to dash for another book pile. His injured arm hugging his body, while his good arm hung in a position of allow momentum. Swiflty, Six yanks on his wrist. Confused, Mono watches as she points at his hurt arm. Giving a grin, Mono rustles Six's hair. She lightly winced from the unknown gesture. "I'll be fine. Worry about yourself okay." And with that he ran off.
He ran from book stack to book stack. Ocasionally sneaking behind a stray suit case or chair leg. Tilting his head back, he caught Six staring at him. Probably worried I'll get hurt. Shaking his head, Mono searched around for a vantage point. Finding a low chair next to a messy desk. Hoisting himself up, Mono stood on top of the desk. Papers patched the desk with multiple pencils and rulers while a stray rotten apple sat in the corner of the desk. Looking back at Six, Mono saw the teacher closing in on her location. Panicking, Mono taunted the teacher, yelling, "come get me you giraffe neck lady!" The teacher cracked her long neck in Mono's direction. Mono shivered as he got a good look at her. She had pitch black eyes surrounded by sagging skin, her hair stiff like a board while her neck slithered from side to side. Ew. Mono cringed. A deafening cry snatched him back into reality and was faced with an old ladies head flying his way. Mono flinches, screaming out "RUN!" Just as those words left his mouth Mono rushed to the edge of the desk towards a book shelf. He leaps and grabs onto the books with his good arm.
Mono too a second to ponder how to get to the top. His eyes landed on a ladder. The teacher groaned in pain behind him. Swiftly, Mono shuffled over to the ladder, successful in not using his bad wrist. Once he was on the ladder Mono started to hobble up. It felt like forever until he reached the top. Looking down he saw the teacher twist her head to look at Mono. Her eyes were streched open as her mouth stretched into a sickly sneer. Shuddering Mono heaved himself at the top of the shelf. Mono layed on his back breathing helplessly, his eyes tightly closed. Six. Mono swung his eyes open before rolling over, his chest leaning over the edge of the wooden panel. When he didn't see her, he felt his panic rising again. This girl is gonna give me a heart attack. His eyes darted all over below him. Mono's chest started to hurt. Why is my chest burning? He honestly felt like dying if he didnt see her in a few seconds. Just then a soft whistle hit his ear drums. Mono jolted to his feet before spotting the familiar short haired girl standing on another book shelf. Mono exhaled a breath he didn't know he was holding. Mabey that was why I had those chest pains. Mono shrugged. Shaking his head before heading over to Six.
Mono's steps fell short as the head of the lady filled the space between the book shelves and more importantly, him and Six. Mono saw the back of the teachers head which only ment that the Teacher was now after Six. Mono started to run forward, preparing to jump at the Teachers head. However, the wood under him buckled. Mono felt gravity pull him down. Books fell next to him while splinters of wood spiked from all around. Mono felt his body crash onto the messy desk, winded. He struggled for air as Mono felt his gaze become fuzzy. His back flowed with pain while his wrist felt like falling off. Mono shakily moved his head to where he knew Six was. He saw her run along the shelves as the Teachers head followed, snapping behind her. No. Not her, please. With weak motions, Mono rolled over and pushed himself up onto his knees. He hissed in agony. Mono felt sweat drip from his forehead onto his paper mask. The mask didn't help with Mono's pained breathing. Tilting his head Mono saw a huge gash on his already wounded shoulder from the splinters. Blood weeped from the wound, soaking his trench coat arm sling. Mono chuckled in his suffering. "Just my luck," Mono grumbled. Up on his feet, Mono pressed on the wound. "Don't worry Six... I'm-I'm commin'," Mono wobbled.
Feeling his senses straighten, he hopped onto the floor and started to run in the same direction Six and the Teacher went. He quickly caught up to them. Six was cornered. The Teacher face right infront of Six. Six brought her arm close to her upper body as she quivered in fear. She lowered closer to the ground as the Teacher aproched her. Mono hurridly scanned his surroundings. His eyes caught a stack of books on top of a book case. A plan popping up, Mono sprinted over to a ladder, climbing up it with great speed, leaving multiple bloody handprint behind. Taking one final huff, Mono was on the top. Without catching his breath, he rushed towards the stck of multicolored books.
As he reached the books, Mono put his back on them, awaiting the right time to push. He was unable to see the teacher so Mono gazed at Six's face, hopping she would see him. He could see her gulp as she shut her eyes, possibly preparing to die. Mono, though, wasn't about to let that happen. He pushed against the heavy books. He used all of the strength that he had. Mono gasped and looked over to Six as the Teacher hissed, "come here you naughty girl. You are going to get a time out for all this hassle." Mono snarled, gritting his teeth as he turned over to his good shoulders side and ramming into the books. The books inched forward and enough of it was over the edge that it fell. In final last movements, the Teacher looked up before screaming as the heavy stack of books collided with her head. The books caused her head to squash against the hard carpet floor like a fly.
Mono winced at the sight. Looking over at Six her expression was covered in horror. She appeared confused and terrified. Mono sighed as she wasn't hurt. " Hey Six, up here." Moni called. Six looked up and locked eyes with Mono. She was relieved and relaxed at the sight of him. She swiftly ran over to the nearest ladder and climbed up, rushing next to Mono's side. "You ok-" Mono was interupted as Six hands lightly touched his wound. Mono but his lip, trying not to snap and scare six away. Mono peered down at Six's face as she looked over his mark. He saw her lips move but no words comming out. Is she trying to speak? Mono analyzed her as she tried to speak. Just then, Six spoke, "you...... hurt.". Her voice was broken and cracked. It sounded like it hurt her to speak. Mono gently smiled and hushed Six. "Six. Look at me. I am fine. Its just a little scratch." Six met Mono's eyes. She was really worried. She shook her head 'no' at Mono and spun her head left and right.
Her eyes fell upon a small hidden crach in the wall. Six took her hands off Mono's injury. She rushed over to the crack sesing a small type of 'room' inside. Six motioned for Mono to come and she went inside. Following, Mono analysed the hole in the wall he was now in. It was small but seemed safe enough. Mono went to the side of the 'room' and sat against the wall, his hand holding onto his wound. He closed his eyes before slightly openeing them Mono watched Six with curiousity. At the other side of the hole was a few scrap peices of paper. She lifted the white paper up and striped a piece off. She hurridly walked back to Mono's wound and prepared to wrap it up. Mono kinda thought is was cute how focused her face was. But that though vanished in a second as his suffering continued. The paper stung as it touched his wound. Mono held his breath. He brought his head up and leaned it against the wall.
As Six finished she stood up and sat near Mono, hugging her legs for comfort. "So my guess is, you won't let me leave this hidden hole until I rest?" Six nodded her head. Mono lightly chuckled. He lifted his knee closets to his good arm before hugging it and leaning his head on it. Here come another awkward experience.
