Mono could see six gulp. Admittedly the Orphanage was an intimidating place. Mono took a step forward, ending up beside six. He nudged her with his shoulder gently. She gazed at him and he gazed back. At a glance, Mono could see a glint of uncertainty in her eyes, but her black hair soon covered them. "Comon, it won't be so bad," Mono shifted his eyes towards the crumbling building with its rusty gate out front and its vine covered walls. With a reasuring voice Mono wondered to the old, creaking gate, "and besides... I'm sure this place was abandond years ago." Mono tilted his head to look at Six. She fumbled with Mono's coat, unsure.

Why is she nervous now. She was calm when a man with a shotgun and a furless dog chased us, why is she scared of an old building? Looking at Six as she hid herself in his coat made Mono relaxe and soften his hidden expression. Shaking his head Mono looked forward at the locked gate. Crossing his arms, Mono started monologuing to himself. "Alright, we have an old gate that is locked... one of the hinges have come loose but that won't be useful because I can't push or pull a gaint gate open... some symbols from the assumed word 'orphanage' sign fell off but I doubt big symbols will help the gate to open... Hey Six got any ideas." Mono turned to face her and felt his thoughts fade as the girl infront of him disapeard.

Panic! Mono spun around. His mind raced as his heart caved in. Did she leave me? Was she taken? Is she okay? Mono's mind flodded with questions and fear. He cupped his hands around his mouth and called her name, "Six! Six!" Nothing. Freaking out was the only thing Mono could do right now. As he started to run in one direction he would turn and run a few steps another way, like a lost dog. "SIX!" A lound clinging noise of chains made Mono jolt and look behind himself to were the gate was. There stood the girl, shaking the gate for Mono's attention. Mono sighed in visible releaf. Mono jogged towards the gate looking at Six who was on the toher side. "I thought I lost yo- wait, how did you get on the other side?" Six waved her hand telling him to look along the brick fence. Mono stared down the old grey brick before seeing Six crawl out of a gab in the wall. Mono's eyes widedned in disbelief. It was that simple!?

Mono ducked under the broken hole in the fence. Hoisting himself up by pushing on the wall, Mono stood beside Six. He looked ahead only to see a foggy, grey playground. A singular seesaw rocked in the wind, a pair of swings creaked while a black roundabout spun in circles. Glancing at eachother, Mono continued to make his way through the play area. His eyes darted in every direction. The park had this cold feeling to it, making shivers run down Mono's spine. Even with the knowledge that this place was abandond didn't help calm his nerve as he and Six came closer to the building.

Hopping up a few crooked cement satirs, a gaint pale green door towered over the two. It have paint chips and claw marks. "Well, isn't that inviting," Mono comented trying to lighten the mood. Six just turned her head to him as a 'really' espression. Mono awkwardly chucked before clearing his throat. Looking at the door, a certin circular door handle caught his attention. Looking at the door handle, Mono asked, "any idea how we get up there." A soft whistle brought Mono's attention. He looked below the door handle seeing Six hunched over with her hands cupped. Catching her idea, Mono went over. He placed his right foot onto her cupped hands and placed his hands on her shoulder for balance. "You sure you can push me up. I'm pretty sure I'm quite heavy." Six nodded. Mumbling an 'okay', Mono started to push himself up. Six swiftly lifted up Mono. The two wroked together and as Mono jumped up out of Six's hands, Six shoved Mono upwards for him to gain extra leverage.

Reaching out, Mono grasped onto the handle. He shook about, trying to twist the handle so the door would open. However, a familiar clicking noise filled his ears. Mono looked upwards, "darn" he grumbled before dropping down, "its locked." Six stared and Mono waiting for him to come up with a plan. As he thought, glaring unblinking at the ground, Mono glanced at Six. She fiddled with his coat, pulling over herself more as a light breeze came through. A sudden whooshing noise caught Mono's attention off of Six. Getting down the stairs, Mono looked to the side of the orphanage, finding the noise coming from a slightly open window. Six soon came by Mono's side, glancing in the same direction as him. To Mono's luck, a pile of bricks were located just under the window. He pulled himself up. Snatching onto the window sill, Mono attempted to open it. Yet again a clinking noise hit his ear drms. "Jammed." Bing! An idea popped in Mono's head like a light bulb. Looking back at the girl, Mono smirked, "hey Six?" Six tilted her head sideways as a puppy would. "Ever smashed a window before?" Mono finished.

CRASH! Glass splattered everywhere. Shards pierced through the air befor cluttering on the ground. "Careful," Mono whispered, "don't want you to get impaled." Jumping down from the broken window, Mono looked about. It was dark and dusty. Wallpaper ripping and locker doors dripping over. A strong smell hit his nostrils and he gaged. Six doing the same. "It smeels like something died in here," Mono gaged. Pegging their nosed closed with two of their fingers, they continued on exploring the building. "So what are we looking for?" He asked examining Six. Uncloging her nose, she pretended to grab something on her shoulders and pullan imaginary hood up. "A jacket?" Six shook her head. "Jumper?" Another shake 'no'. "Coat?" Six pinched her fingers slightly apart signalling that Mono almost got the answer. "Coat. What types of coats are th- rain coat?" Six ferociously nodded her head. Humming in response, he shifted his gaze towards a shallow light source.

Subconsciously, Mono started to wonder towards the light. Six snatched at Mono's hand. Mono stiffened. He glanced back at the shaking girl. Six shook her head left and right. Once she stopped a strand of hair moved out of Six's eyes. Mono felt his tension ease as he saw clear fear in the girls eyes. Unfortunately, it was too dark for Mono to tell what colour her eyes were, but he ignlred that thought. "Hey don't worry. I'll be carefull. You don't have to follow me if you don't want to," he calmed her, "yoj can stay here and wait for me if you want." Mono patted Six's head gently, which seemed to calm her. Six looked to the floor and nodded. Mono watched her go to the wall of the hallway and curl into a ball, her arms hugging her legs, her head resting on her knees. Poor girl. Terrified out of her wits.

Stealing one last glance at Six before leaving her, Mono continued his way. The floor boards underneath his feet creaked more and more the closer to the light he got. Thinking nothing of it, he went on. As he grew closer, he swore he could hear some sort of talking and the scratching of pencil on paper. Mono stopped at the edge of an open door frame. The light was brighter in the room, but Mono didn't feel like dying so he stayed hidden. Peeking his head over, Mono bit his lip to hold in a gasp. A wrinkly lady stood infront of a chalk board, mumbling something incoherent. Her neck appeared twisted and fidgety. Her hand clasps on a long ruller the other holding a peice of chalk. So gonna call her the Teacher. A desk stacked with books was placed at the front of the room, while rows and rows of smaller desk covered the rest. In the wooden chairs sat deformed children. Their heads big and shiny like ceramic, while their bodys were clothes in formal uniforms and seemed more fleshy and skinny. Yup, Children.

Yeah, no. I'm out. Mono took a step back, only for his foot to land on a squeeky floor board. Gritting his teeth Mono looked back before wincing and turning back to the room. The Teachers neck snapped upwards with a sadistic twitch, while the Children in complete sync spun their bodies around to look at Mono. "Sh-" Mono was cut off by the Teacher making a loud screaching noise. In rapid motions, the students leaped out of their chairs and sprinted after Mono. Giving a slight scream, Mono spun and darted back in the direction he came. "SIX!" Mono yelled, "If ya wanna live I advise we get going!" Looking along the hallway, Mono couldn't find six anywhere. Mono felt his heart pound in his chest, blood rushing to his ears. Where is she? Peering behind himself, the Children where hot on his tail. No, no and no! Missteping, Mono collapsed onto the hard wooden floor with a thump. Mono winced in pain as a stabbing feeling rushed from his wrist. Holding his right hand wrist with his left, Mono opened his eyes his breath hitching as the Children got closer with every second.

A strong "psst" made Mono snap his head in the direction it came from. There in a small vent Six crouched, calling Mono over. Heaving himself up using his good hand, Mono rushed in Six's direction. He held his sore wrist close to his chest as he followed Six through the vents. Speeding along the metal ventilation system, loud hurried noises from the entrance of the vent alerted the two that the Children were following. Soon the two reached a ladder. Six stared to climb the high ladder. Mono just stared at it, looking up and down. This is gonna hurt. Mono gripped the metal bars and hurriedly followed Six upwards. His right wrist burning and stinging with every motion. Near to the top Mono stopped climbing and brought his wrist close to his chest. He took in ragged breaths, trying to sooth the pain. Below he could hear the Children climbing after them. Feeling very tempted to give up, Mono shut his eyes for a breif moment.

Openeing his eyes and moving his focus to above him, Mono was startled to see Six reaching down to help pull him up. Teaking a rushed deep breath Mono shifted his grib on the bars to his injured one and grabbed on Six's hand with his good one. She yanked Mono to her kevel. Mono felt relieve when the pain in his wrist was less. However his relaxation was shirt lived. The sound of kids breathing down Mono and Six's made the two swiftly continue forward. At the sight of light at the end of the cold, dark metal vent, Mono felt so happy he could've cried. However, as he and Six pushed the vent cover out of the way, the two quickly relised that there was no flooring below them. They felt gravity take hold. The ground came rushing towards Mono. It was not even mili seconds before Mono felt the floor crush his body. Turning his head over, Mono looked at Six. Her face was scrunched in pain and she let out a shaky breath. Her lips soundlessly spoke "ow." Pushing herself up Six brushed herself off, straightening Mono's coat. Six looked over at Mono offering her hand. With a small smile Mono took her hand, immediately wincing from pain. Mono groaned. Pushing himself up Mono held his wrist.

Six was tense, as her arms hung in the arm in a worried manner. Mono nodded, "I'm fine. Just a little sprain." That single word made Six even more tense but Mono shook his head, "really Six, I am okay." Hesitently, Six lowered her arms to hug herself, unsure if he was telling the truth. Mono turned his gaze up, towards the vent. None of the Children followed, which honestly surprised him. Blinking multiple times before looking back, Mono wandered where they went. Regaining his focus, Mono seeked the room out. It was light and smelt alot better. Pale green lockers lined the wall, some caving in while beige wallpaper has started to peel. Dipping his head towards Six in confirmation, Mono cautiously walked onwards. His eyes darting left and right. A weird pressure plate noise soon came from under his foot. Glancing down, Mono saw a huge divit in the floor board where his foot was stepping. Hearing Six gasp, Mono gazed back at her. Her arms were raised in a pushing position but as a gaint swinging light slammed Mono on the head, Six pulled back and winced.

Mono felt his back on the ground, with his head throbbing. With an annoyed expression, Mono put preassure on the spot the light hit with his good hand. Mono lifts a hand to his head and moans, "ow." Mono moves his good arm below him before hoidting himself up. Once he was on his feet, Six rushed to Monis side. "i'M pErFEctLy fINe," Mono stumbled like a drunk person. His vission waved, as he wobbled on his legs. Tubling over, Mono felt his leg pull on some sort of rope. Looking to the side with his wavy vision. He saw an axe comming his way. Giving a gurgled scream, a pair of hands yanked Mono backwards caused the axe to miss him by the skin of his teeth. Shaking his head awake, Mono glanced behind him only to see Six. Lightly chcukling at Six Mono muttered, "hey, umm, thanks. Sorry 'bout that." Six waved her hands, saying 'no problem.' Straightening his eyes towards the the side of the room, Mono started thinking. "You think these traps were made by the children." Six nodded proceeding to walk forward past Mono.

Mono watched in intrest as he stood. She looked around as her eyes stopped at a certin floor board. Mono went to her side stopping right next to her. Six glanced his way before pointing at a small 'X' marking. Staring at the marking fkr what felt like days, Mono could tell his vision was zoning out. Then it clicked. Mono snapped his fingers, before shifting his gaze from the brown marking. Looking at Six Mono spoks, "When the kids made the traps, they must've done it before. It would take alot longer than 5 minutes to create all these traps. So that means these traps were already here, they just needed to be activated. But to avoid any accidents they must have marked small brown 'X's on the boards that activate traps. All we have to do is look to the floor for tiny markings." Mono could tell Six slightly lit up at his explination, understanding.

After a few minutes Mono lifted his eyes to peer at what was to come. He saw a huge wooden door with a gaint open eye staring at the two. Mono slightly gasped. Just like- Mono felt his thoughts dissipate as a hand tapped his shoulder. He gazed at Six who had a face of pure terror as she stared from behind. With a confused face Mono turned around. Mono's eyes widened. Dozens of Children were coming their way. Tumbling and rolling over eachother like a cluster of hungry wolves. They screamed and growled feircly as they inched closer and closer. "Go, Go, GO!" Mono screamed. Without hesitation, Six rushed in the direction of the door. Mono accompanying Six in a hurried pace. They both skimmed from floor board to floor board for markings. Successfully avoiding all the traps. Mono realised they were getting closer and closer to the door while the kids were inches from squishing Six and himself.

For what felt like hours, that was really seconds, Mono and Six came to a harsh halt at the head of the door. Mono swiftly stepped forwards at started to push on the door with his sigular good hand. Six joined in. Behind them the kids where only moments away from killing Mono and Six. Suddenly the door screached open causing both Mono and Six to fall on their faces. Pain shot through Monos wrist but he pushed it down. Swiftly jumping up both teenagers ran inside heaving the door closed. The Children were right outside and started to reach in the room. SLAM! The door locked, breaking the arm off one of the children with it. The arm becoming limp and lifeless.

Ignoring the arm, Mono huffed as he felt sweat beam down his face. Six collapsed to the floor, rapidly breathing. Mono crouched onto his knees, cradling his wrist. It was thribbing with a burning and tingling feeling. Mono took deep breaths, trying to hold the pain in. Next to him, Six lifts her gaze. She slowly gets up and crouches next to Mono. Six looked at Mono's covered face before looking down at his wrist. Cautiously she moved her hands closer to his wrist. Similar to when Mono first found Six, she acted with slow steady moves. Mono trusting her, let her look at his wrist. "Like I said before Six, I'm fine." Six looked up at him with this flat flace. She gently pressed on his wrist which made him yelp. "Ow! That bloody hurts!" Mono whined. He looked at Six and she had this seemingly cocky gring, but as quick it was there it was gone even quicker. Replaced with her generic blank face. So she does have feelings. Gold to kno- YIKES.

Snapping from his trance, he glared at what Six was doing to his wrist. Mono was amazed by what he saw. Six sat there, wrapping his wrist with his coat. She swiftly finished wrapping his wrist then with both of the coats sleeves created a little loop for a sling. Once she finished she stood up and strolled off. Mono studied her handy word, and it was perfect. He could barley move his wrist and it was odly comfy. With releif he wont need to use his sore wrist anymore, put the looped sleeves around his neck. His arm hung tightly to his body as he got up. Mono hurried to Six's side. Six kept her gaze forward and flat. "T-thanks," Mono rubbed the back of his neck with his good arm. Glancing at Six she mouthed a 'no problem.' Smiling, Mono turned his gaze ahead.

Books, Books, BOOKS. Books everywhere. Up there, down there, left of here right of here. Mono felt his mind explode. Books piled over another in an unorderly fashion. Definitely the Library. If this isnt a library than I don't know what anything is anymore... not that I know about much anyways. Mono searched about, shook about the amount of books. Six also appeared in a state of shock. She glanced here and there, admiring the stacks and stacks of books. Spinning around, Mono started to walk backwards, continuing to admire the library. However, he stopped in his tracks when the swinging of a door opening sounded through the room. Looking to his side, the shilloete of the teach came into veiw. Jolting to action, Mono snatched onto Six's hand and pulled her behind a mountain of books.

Peeking over, Mono saw the teacher look about. looking back at Six, to his puzzlement Six was shuddering wildly. Her eyes shut, as she bit her lip to stop her from crying. Guilt came pouring back into Mono's senses. Gently he squeezed her hand. He shuffled over next to her, careful to to alert the Teacher or hurt himself. He soflty bumbed Six with his body against hers. She slightly lifted her head to look at Mono. While still holding her hand, Mono lifted his finger to his lips. Six hesitantly nodded, quietly taking a deep breath. She stared at Mono, apearing clamer but not by alot. He could feel her shiver as he held her hand. Mono's gaze was gentle as he peered upon Six but sharpened as a noise that sounded of cracking boned echoed through the room. Looking up Mono held in the unknown noise he was about to make. The teachers head was right about the two, looking left and right. The Teachers neck was long and thin as it crunched with every movement. Mono cringed as a sickining voice chilled through the room, "cOMe ouT, comE OuT. yoU HAvE bEeN vEry BaD KIds."
