(Anahi's pov)

my eyes slowly open from the sharp rays of the sunlight, I glanced at my window it was open. I turned my head to glance at the clock

"ugh I am late again"

I mumbled stretching my arms into the air and yawns. I pushed myself up from the bed and went to my closet. I opened closet taking my clothes to get ready for the university. after taking clothes I moved to the bathroom for my morning routine.

I heard Dad called me for breakfast then I heard he was having an argument with mum but its normal for them. they always fight and then laugh at their argument, best couple ever.

after getting ready I walked downstairs, I was already late so I just picked my lunch box from the kitchen counter and run out off the door. well I always get late for my classes then I ask everyone for notes

I was walking down the street recalling my dream, I was blushing at the thought that how close we were in that moment. I saw Kakashi Hatake in my dream, we were going to kiss but I woke up from the sunlight.

I sighed, knowing the fact that it was only a dream that never going to be real. I was walking on the empty street it was the shortcut for my university.

I always use the long way to my university, the shortcut is a scary one,

my dad is a cop, and he had told me not to take the shortcut because it has a house in the way where most of the people disappeared and never gets found again, I always avoid the shortcut but today I am late so yes I have to risk it.

I saw that house on my left, I heard a lot about this house. It is pretty famous in this town.

When I was passing by the house I accidentally looked inside the fences, I saw beautiful portraits were placed on the table. I was already too late for my university so I thought to take a look.

I went to the small gate and open it slowly avoiding making the sound. I walked into the yard, it was large and beautiful and I could smell the fresh green grass and fresh flowers, it was like a garden.

I walked to the table that was placed under the tree and two chairs were arranged around the table. I smiled and looked at the painting.

I picked the painting and start admiring it was the painting of a beautiful woman.

In the painting, a Woman was sitting in the garden under the tree and was smiling,

I blinked twice when saw the painting, it was very similar to this garden,

'is it the same garden where I am standing right now? this girl is sitting under this tree where I am standing.

so someone made it here'

I giggle and start comparing the painting with the garden where I was, everything was same but then I heard a manly voice.

"she is graceful isn't she?" I heard someone said from behind, I turned around, my eyes caught with someone's gaze. The male was smirking at me.

'Damn he is hot and sexy' I thought and stared at him.

he was wearing a white Kimono and his facial features were perfect.

I didn't realize I was staring at him, he smirks and laughed.

"I guess I am more interesting than my paintings" he smiled and I blush.

"I am sorry I didn't mean that actually, this painting is wonderful I couldn't stop myself to look at this. Sorry I walked in without permission" I apologized he smiled pleasantly

'his smile is so cute, what the hell is happening with me why I can't stop watching him' I thought mentally damning myself.

"it's alright, I like visitors. Too bad, no one visits me" he said, I stare at him like I was hypnotized.

"do you want to drink coffee with me?" he asked and I couldn't say no like I was forced to say yes. My body doesn't want it but I said

"yes, of course, I will" he turned and started walking towards his house's main door, I start following him.

"Anahi...what the hell are you doing here, let's go" I felt someone grabbed my arm and was pulling me.

I shook my head and stared at the person who was pulling my hand, I get back to the reality.

"Jacob? What are you doing here?" I asked and I felt my eyes were burning, I rubbed it roughly trying to stop the burning sensation.

"Same goes for you, what the hell are you doing here" he shouted at me, 'wait he really shout at me...' I looked at him angrily.

"I was looking at the painting" I answered still rubbing my eyes.

"no...why were you going into the house? You know this place, no one returns from here" Jacob argued angrily.

"Jacob, that man asked me to have coffee with him so I was following him" I turned to point at the man who was earlier talking with me.

"Who? I can't see anyone here" Jacob said.

My eyes widened, there was no one, I tried to search him but I couldn't.

"Jacob I was following him, he was walking front of me. trust me" my voice cracked from the panic.

"Anahi, I saw you walking alone no one was front of you" he answered and hugged me tightly,

I looked around and trembled when I realized the changes in the garden. I saw all the flowers and the tree has changed into dry, the grass wasn't green, it was now dry and tall not fresh that I saw earlier, the tree has no leaves it was dry, plants were dry no flowers were there. The only thing left same was the painting on the old broken table.

"Jacob I saw him....it was all changed" I was crying and holding his hand tightly, he quickly took me out of the gate realizing the situation.

"Anahi, promise me you will not go there alone. god knows what would happen if I hadn't shown up on time" Jacob embraced me tightly when he saw I was afraid.

He starts his bike and takes me to university.

He parked his bike and we both walked into the university.

"don't worry you don't have to be scared, you are safe Anahi" Jacob smiled and we both entered in our classroom. our new period was going to start so we sat down in our seats,

Jacob was sitting next to me,

"I missed lectures" I whispered to him and he smiled

"don't worry you can borrow my notes," he answered while looking at our teacher.

I saw our math's teacher walked into the class and start teaching.

It was boring but Jacob is perfect in every subject and he promised me to teach me for exams so I wasn't paying attention in the class. I was looking out through the window.

All I was thinking that

'why I saw that garden, how it has turned into dry and old scary place, why I saw that man if he was not there? why Jacob couldn't see him?'

I heard the bell ring our period was over,

It was our last period of the day, I was putting my books into my bag.

I saw two girls came to me. Well not exactly at me, they came for Jacob.

jacob is one of the most famous guys in our university, he is a captain of the football team and an excellent student at the university, he is a pretty famous guy.

Now how I know him? Well, he lives in my house as a paying guest. So that's how we know each other.

He lives alone here, his family lives in another town. his dad knows my dad. they both are good friends

"Hey, Jacob will you please come with us?" Ashley said. well, Ashley is the most beautiful, rich and outgoing girl, so boy always like her company even Jacob, I guess.

Jacob looked at me sadly, he always drives me back to the home but I get the hint he wanted to help Ashley as well.

I sighed and smiled "see you later Jay," I said I walked out of the class.

I was walking home slowly and was eating chips, I was still scared. I took a long way avoiding the shortcut.
