Hiccup's POV

It's nearly midnight and all we've done is partially watch a movie. But we don't care a bit. We kiss frantically and heatedly, for once in my life I'm in control. Though Merida seems headstrong and a born leader and I seem quiet, shy and timid, here we switch roles.

I kiss her roughly and passionately, my tongue licked her lips as a request for entrance. Granted.

I explore the inside of her mouth with my tongue as she does exactly the same to me. I tear myself away from her mouth and kiss her neck instead, she throws her head back, releasing her beautiful red mane of curls.

She's panting slightly, we've both wanted this of each other for such a long time the tension had become almost unbearable. Suddenly I stop, panicking.

Shit.

Merida stops too and looks down at my trousers. Her mouth forms a small 'o' of realisation and she says,

"Hic? Did I do this to you?"

My cheeks are beet red as I try not to make eye contact.

"Um, yes I suppose..."

Amazingly, Merida smiles.

"It's not your fault. I'm more flattered than anything."

"What?"

"I guess it means you think I'm not all bad," she grins.

"Merida," I say, the blush finally fading, "you're beautiful. That's why I, um..."

"Hiccup I don't mind."

"Really?" I say, uncertainly.

"Yes," Merida takes me by my shirt and pulls me to her, suddenly becoming the dominant role again. I smile as she kisses me again.

"Don't you think," I say between kisses, "that it's getting a bit late? Maybe we should go to bed."

"What are you suggesting Hic?" Merida grins knowingly.

"What?! Nothing!" I panic as she giggles.

"Well," Merida puts on a seductive face and sways her hips, "maybe I could 'suggest' something for you..."

I laugh and suddenly go serious too. I use my most seductive growl to say,

"Come here, you."

I spin her into my welcoming arms and I kiss her hard and fast. We make our way up the stairs to Merida's bedroom, still kissing heatedly and without stopping.

A/N Ridiculously short and lousy chapter I know but it was the best I could come up with and I wanted to give you guys an update. By the way, there's going to be no heated sex or anything, they're 16 in this story so yeah they're old enough but if Mericcup babies is what you're after go find another author, not really my forte!
