My POV

Lucy finished a good show last night. She wakes up, takes a shower and gets dressed in a white t-shirt, ripped dark blue jeans, and checkered vans. Her hair is in a bun. She eats breakfast and brushed her teeth. She gets her bag and lunch and gets into the car. Jude drives her to school and she kissed him and gets out.

~In class~

" Can anyone solve this problem? Lucy? " The teacher asked. " Don't ask her. A circus freak isn't smart enough for school " Lisanna said and then the whole class bursts into laughter. Lucy blushed in embarrassment. " I'm sure she can solve it. She's just as smart as the rest of you " The teacher said. Lucy shakes her head.

~Class over~

The teacher collected the papers, but when she looked at Lucy's, all the questions were correct. She frowned, Lucy was very smart, but because of the others bullying her, she was too shy and doubted herself a lot. She sighed and finished collecting papers, then goes back to her desk and grades the papers.

~At lunch~

Lucy is sitting on the side of the playground, while everyone else is playing, she has no one to play with because she's the 'circus freak'. She opens a bag of chips and then lisanna comes and pushed her down. She kicked sand and dirt in the poor girls face and laughed at her with her friends, soon the whole playground was filled with laughter.

~After school~

Lucy was driven home by her aunt because her parents were busy. She assumed it was for the show tonight, but it wasn't. It was for something that Lucy wasn't ready to see, or even hear about. She opens the door and heard some talking from down in the basement. " What's that? " She asked. She walked down in the basement, and the talking became more clear. " Don't do it... " The other pleaded with a shaky voice. Lucy looked around the corner. " If I don't do this, I'll stop making money, and I can't have that can I? I've got a wife and kids to take care of " He smirked and shoots him in the head. Lucy screamed and ran upstairs to her closet and hides. " Shit... " Jude said. " Should I...? " Layla asked. Jude shakes his head. " I've got this one. " He said and walked upstairs.

~With Lucy~

" Lucy? Come out I wanna talk to you " He said and knocked on the door. " No! Your gonna hurt me " She said. " Lucy, I did that to protect you. Why would I wanna hurt you? " Jude asked. " Are you lying " She asked. He scoffed. " Of course not " He said. There was a long silence before Lucy comes and opens the door. " You sure? " She asked. " Yes. This is only to protect people. I can teach you, but you have to keep this a secret. Alright? " He asked and held out his pinky. Lucy was reluctant. But then she thought of what she needed to protect herself from. Like her bullies. If she would learn this, she would never need to learn about this. She grabs his pinky. " Okay " She said. He smiled. " Good, we can start learning tomorrow.
