Another day, another torture for Bea Cooper as she strode towards Riverdale High with a frown etched on her face— which is basically tattooed on her face every morning. Her earphones were tuck inside her ears that was connected to her new phone— an iPhone XR that she brought for herself after months of saving up her lunch money. It was safe to say that she was proud of buying something that her parents wouldn't even think of buying it for her. Sad, but she's kinda used to it by now.

Glancing down at her phone, she replied to Reggie's good morning text. He was the only one who knew about her new number, and hell, Bea wasn't planning on giving it out to Sweet Pea and Toni. Its what they deserved. They couldn't even messaged her old phone since she sold it, and donated the money from it to an animal shelter. It was basically another gift for herself.

"Hey," Startled, Bea almost dropped her phone— which was luckily caught up by the earphone wire. Her heart was beating so fast as she cradled the phone to her chest.

Angered, she turned to face the person. Her face was crunched up, and turning a scarlet color. "What the fuck, Sweet Pea, I almost dropped my phone!"

An apologetic look was on the Serpent's face, "I'm sorry, didn't mean to startle you."

No matter how hot Sweet Pea looks right now, Bea didn't give any damn after what happened. "What's up?" She wasn't fake, but she doesn't want them to know that she was at her lowest yesterday; at her birthday especially.

Shrugging, Sweet Pea smiled at her. "You called yesterday?"

He doesn't even know it was my fucking birthday yesterday.  Bea bitterly scoffs internally. "It was nothing. Just wanted to hang out with you and the others but it seemed like you were busy yesterday."
The raven haired Northsider wanted to choke him, no matter how good looking he was and how he still manages to make her heart flutter.

Sweet Pea chuckled, "Anyway, I have to go," He propped his bag properly and smiled at her. "Toni wants me to run an errand."

Without any word, Bea  ignored him and didn't even care as he took off rather quickly. Damn, am I really that bad to even be in the same place with?

She was so done with people, really. They were all temporary anyway, and she really can't wait to fuck off and leave this shitty town. She's so ready to leave, and she has already settled with going to Toledo after a few deals with Jughead's mother. She knew it would piss off her mother if the latter knew that she was staying with her. Well, as if Alice cares, right?

Arriving at Riverdale High was such an annoyance. People are literal everywhere; either kissing, almost fucking even, and her sister's little groupie. It was such a disturbing sight to watch her sister be in the same school as her. How she wishes the Illuminati would take Betty away from her life. One could wish.

"Bea!" A voice called out for her, raising her eyebrow, she turned to face Betty and her friends. She smiled 'politely' at them.

Turning to face Veronica Lodge, "Valerie right?" Bea knew her name, but she loves to play with them.

Betty rolled her eyes, "It's Veronica, dumbass." She looked really pathetic in her ponytail and 'innocent' face that Bea wanted to rip her face off and stomp at it.

"Uhm, I'll get back at you and your annoying ponytail once I give a fuck about you, Betty." Bea snorted, and turned to Veronica. "Sorry you had to see our sisterly bond, Virginia."

Veronica looked so lost, and Bea wanted to laugh but that would be rude. "Its actually Veronica but would you like to be part of the musica that Kevin is—,"

Cutting her off, Bea laughed, "It's actually amusing to see you guys being so polite to me," Stuffing her hands in her jean pockets, her smile was wiped off instantly. "But no."

Walking away with her head held high, she went to her locker and placed her things inside it. She was so not interest in that musical, and it was a waste of time, really. She would've join if the musical was actually interesting. But Carrie? Really? How lame. She doesn't want to waste her energy joining that musical play, when she could just sleep at home. It's a win-win situation for her and Betty. They would just argue on stage if Bea would join.

Snapping out from her not so nice thoughts, Bea almost groaned in complete and utter annoyance when she saw Toni approaching her with a smile.

"Bea," Toni greeter, leaning against the lockers. "You called yesterday?"

What's up with everyone asking me that question? Like duh, isn't it obvious that I did leave so many miss calls on your phones? How annoying. Bea smiled at Toni Topaz, "Yes, I did. Don't worry, it wasn't that important."

"You sure?"

"Positive," Bea said, giving her a quick smile before walking away. She felt hurt that they didn't even apologize for forgetting her birthday. But then again, she really shouldn't depend her happiness on someone else. She needs to be independent.

Entering her first period, Bea Cooper sat on her usual seat at the back, causing a commotion when she pulled her chair rather loudly and annoyingly. She only flipped them off, and sat down, reaching for her phone and scrolling through Twitter, looking for more drama.

"Damn, glad you wore that." All of a sudden, Reggie Mantle sat beside her after bribing the guy who was usually seated beside her with a dollar or two, a smirk was on his face. "It suits you."

A gold necklace was hooked on Bea's neck that suited her very well. It was Reggie's gift, and to say that she loved it would be an understatement.

Smiling, Bea gave him a thankful look. "It's so pretty, Regg," The necklace was simple, yet gave out elegance and beauty at the same time. "Thank you so much."

"Well," Reggie began, an accomplished grin written on his face. He was really happy that Bea loved the gift he brought for her; he was nervous that the jet blacked beauty wouldn't love it— and it wasn't that expensive, it was only like, $670.50. He had to do extra shifts at his mother's shop. It was worth it though. "When I saw that necklace, I was like— 'oh shit, this is the one for her.'"

Blushing, Bea shook her head in amusement. Reggie was so fucking adorable, and she couldn't help but reach out and squeeze his left cheek until it turned red. Reggie let her do so without any complains, sighing in content as he stared at her gorgeous face.

"Excuse me, Mantle." Suddenly, a certain Serpent halted their moment. Sweet Pea stood in front of them with a scowl on his face. "You're on my seat."

Bea rolled her eyes, "This isn't your seat, Sweet Pea."

"It is now," The Southside Serpent said, crossing his arms on his chest too look 'intimidating'.

"Reggie sits here now, Sweet Pea. You can go sit somewhere else." Bea stated, burning holes on his head. As much as she adored the serpent, she didn't care anymore, really.

Reggie smirked at Sweet Pea, shrugging his shoulders. "She's the boss, so whatever she says, I'll basically do it," He glanced at Bea who was busying herself on her phone, and turned to Sweet Pea.

"You lost your chance, Serpent. She's a rose, you know? You gotta be there for her thorns too, not just for her petals."
