It was nearing lunch time already, and so far, Bea hasn't seen Sweet Pea nor Toni yet, and it was beginning to irritate her to no end. She wanted to hang out with the serpents, but of course, her sister would probably blabber about it to their mom. But isn't dating Jughead Jones, a.k.a the 'Prince of the Sothside Serpents' or whatever is that shit, worse? It's just unfair that Betty doesn't get any shit from Alice, but when it's her, a whole bunch of shit that are probably lies, gets thrown at her? Talk about parents' love.

Rolling her eyes, the raven haired girl glanced at the wall clock and sighed heavily. Two minutes before lunch, and there was still no sign of Toni or Sweet Pea. She brought her pen to her lip as she pondered about their whereabouts.

"Bea," She sighed in annoyance as she turned around and faced Reggie Mantle who had a smirk on his face. "Do you have some notes that I can copy down?" The jock asked.

Bea arched her eyebrow. "Do I look like the type to take notes?"

"Considering that you're one of the honor students, then yes." Reggie said, chuckling slightly at the end. He was staring intently at her with a nervous look on his face.

"I don't take notes, Mantle. It's all stock knowledge. It's all up here," Bea said, pointing a finger at her head.

"Tutor me then," Reggie's face lightened up at the idea as if it was the brightest idea to ever exist. "I mean, Coach has been giving me crap about my grades and stuff. And as an athlete, I can't always keep up with all these shit."

Bea furrowed her eyebrows. "How about no." She briefly said before turning her back at him. What a typical jock. Although, she did feel bad about rejecting him. She turned around and faced Reggie who was texting on his phone.

"I'll give it a thought, Mantle."

The bell rang and all the students hastily went out to spend their lunch time. Bea was the last one to leave, taking her sweet time to pack her things and go. By the time she was done shoving things in her bag, she went out and looked around for Sweet Pea and Toni. She finally gave up and went outside. She walks towards the cafeteria and saw her sister along with her friends.

Bea was about to walk away and sneak out again for lunch, when she was waved over by Veronica. She stalked towards the group and gave a false smile at them. "Yes?"

"Come and sit with us." Veronica cheerfully said.

Bea laughed and tuck a strand of her hair behind her ear. "Who are you, Regina George?" Veronica's smile was wiped off from her face.

Betty rolled her eyes at her sister, "God, Bea. Can you just leave? Your presence is not needed here."

Archie and Veronica gasped at Betty's comment. "Betty!" The latter gasped out. They couldn't believe Sweet Betty was like that- a bitch towards her own sister.

Bea crossed her arm and faked a yawn, "Does sweet Elizabeth think that I'll get butt hurt by her itty bitty comment?" She laughed bitterly and flashed her middle finger, ignoring the gasps from everyone who was watching the scene unfold. She pouted at her sister before walking out of the cafeteria. Does Betty think she can just say snarky comments out of nowhere and not expect to be flipped off?

"Look who it is." A familiar voice echoed through out the empty hallways. Bea grins and ran up to the certain Serpent who was standing by the lockers with his usual smirk plastered on his face.

"Pea Brain!" Bea squealed in delight as she pats Sweet Pea on his shoulder; definitely having to stand on her tip toes just so she could pat the Serpent.

"Pea Brain? Is that my name now," Sweet Pea teased her before ruffling her hair with his huge hand.

Bea stared up at him with adoration. What a fine ass man he is. "Wanna sneak out?" She asked, gripping her bag tightly.

"How rebellious, you are my dear northsider." Sweet Pea retorted before pulling her for a hug. He missed Bea terribly, and he totally made it clear by hugging her tightly.

"You can let go now, Pea Brain."

Sweet Pea obliged and stared at her with a fond look. "Can't sneak out, babe. Your school is strict. Unlike my old school."

"You totally should give me a tour of your school next time." Bea said.

"Oh no, the place is shit." Sweet Pea chuckled, completely amused by the girl in front of him.
And his heart skipped a beat when she pouted.

"Who cares if it's shit? It's better than this shit hole." She looked around in disgust. Riverdale High was great, yes, but the students and teachers made her sick to her stomach- they were so stuck up and snobby.

The Serpent laughed at her. "Fine, your majesty. Whatever you want."

Bea smiled, "So how about grabbing some lunch and eating it outside?"

The two walked off and talked their way to the cafeteria, and as soon as they enter, all eyes were on them. She rolled her eyes and went to fall in line along with Sweet Pea who had a neutral expression on his face. He wanted to seem tough and cold, so that people will be scared of him more. It was better that way.

After they brought two sandwiches and two bottles of water, they went to a table outside and ate silently. The comfortable silence was calming, along with faint music blasting from Bea's phone— they had decided to throw in some music with Pea choosing the songs, in which Bea had argued with him for a few minutes before giving up.

"Where's Toni, by the way?" Bea asked, breaking the silence.

Sweet Pea shrugged his shoulders. "Probably with Jughead. They're always into something now. She hardly spends time with Fangs and I."

"Speaking of Fangs, where is he too?" She questioned once again.

"Why must you ask about him?" He asked, feeling a bit thrown off with her question.

Bea smirked. "Don't get jealous, Pea Brain. I was just curious. Since you're always together, and what not."

Sweet Pea smiled but didn't answer. Fangs was probably with the other serpents, and — shit! He was supposed to attend their small 'meeting' awhile ago. His eyes widened, causing Bea's attention to shift towards him.

"Is something wrong?" Bea asked, tilting her head to the side.

"Nothing, B. Thought I saw a flying pig." He lied, and smiled at her before finishing off his sandwich.

Nothing at all, except maybe he'll get in trouble later for not going, but it was worth it— hanging out with his favorite Northsider was worth getting in trouble for. The small gathering wasn't that important anyway, so he didn't stressed about it for too long.

"You and your mind, Pea Brain."
