I got Caroline's permission to have LeeAnn announce our relationship through the press.  She's made such a good impression with our fans, and taking into account the divorce, and how June was already with someone new, our fans went crazy with support.

They call our story a true love story, and I am so happy. 

I was pissed when I found out she was rooming with Lana and already asleep.  I wasn't pissed at her, it wasn't her or anyone, but the hotel's mistake.  I threw a fit, but was able to secure the suite for the next few nights.  We will be in New York a little longer than usual.

We have the two-night concert series, The Today Show appearance, and some interviews, which most likely will be focused on the girls.

As soon as I saw Caroline Friday morning, I wrapped my arms around her and never wanted let go. 

"I didn't sleep that whole damn time," I complained before I kissed her.

"Me either, I missed you." She laid her head on my chest. 

By the time we got to move into the suite, it was too late to devour her body, and we have to get ready for the concert.  The label accepted Lana, and our attorney is bringing the contract along with new ones for everyone else that included rules against substance abuse. I will no longer tolerate any kind of abuse. I cannot bury another bandmate. 

I have a surprise for Caroline tonight.  She won't be on stage as much since Lana is being broke in and will only do half the show. 

I took the stage.  "Y'all know my personal life has changed for the better.  This one is for the love of my life." She was standing off stage, and her face was bright red as I began to sing.

"Sweet Caroline..."

The crowd got so excited they helped me serenade her.  I walked over and pulled her out on stage and looked down at her as I sang. 

"Good times never seemed so good.."

As soon as the song ended, I kissed her hard and dipped her back.  I've never heard a crowd so loud.  I stood her back up, and flashed her my biggest smile.

"I love you, Caroline Harper," I said into the mic and winked at her, and her hands covered her face in embarrass ment as everyone chanted for one more kiss.

Of course, I'll oblige.  I cupped her face and kissed her as if I'd never see her again.  The crowd roared as I never wanted to let go.

This concert has been the most energetic and best one of my career.  The next night was the same. 

On Sunday morning the newspaper came, and I about fell over when I saw it.

I showed Caroline and she laughed.  I'm a free man now with June behind me and our marriage officially dissolved.  I'm free to love Caroline the way she deserves. I'm with the person I was meant to love for the rest of my life, and that's exactly what I plan to do.

On Monday, we had a concert series on The Today Show, and I had to interview live.

"Your career seems to be going great.  You've really come out on top after such a difficult summer.  What has changed your life so dramatically?"

"I made a friend who proved to be one of the most pivotal people in my life.  We grew from friends, into something so much more profound."

"You're speaking of the White House Chief of Staff's daughter Caroline Ravenheart Harper, I presume?"

"Yes, she the most amazing person I've ever known."

"Do we hear wedding bells in your future?"

I smiled.  "Only time will tell.  She has a commitment overseas for the next year, but we will see with time."

The interview went on about Sean and Lana.  I really wanted to make it known Sean never had a drug problem, and this must have been his first time trying the drug.  I promised his mom I would bring awareness to depression.

We played a few songs live, then we were off for the day.  Caroline had gotten a call from her father, who happens to be in New York this week, and he requested a one on one meeting.  I'm really hoping he's not upset about the announcement I made about Caroline.

We went back to the hotel, and I practiced with Lana while I waited for Caroline's return.  Caroline has really helped Lana come a long way, and the girl doesn't even look the same.  She smiles a lot more, and seems much more trusting than she was when we first met.

Dean came in bitching about something or another, and lately, he's been hot and cold toward Lana.  I'll have a talk with him later. Lana won't need to work on vocals unless our new album has a need for it. 

Caroline has worked her tail off with her writing, and so have I, for that matter.  I'll be presenting it to the band in a few weeks as we tweak some of the music.  The lyrics are perfect just as they are, and I pity anyone that tries to change them. 

We've been up since 3 am for the television show which makes for the longest day ever, especially since Caroline met with her father after the show this morning.  I sure hope we got her fathers blessing, because I do plan to take this relationship all the way to marriage.  I can't imagine not having Caroline in my life.  I just hope we can fulfill her dreams, while I chase mine.  There has to be a way to do this so one isn't making a bigger sacrifice than the other.

After practicing with Lana a few hours, Wally came to work with her about her finances.  They need to set up a bank account, and she will eventually need a financial planner, and all the other things that come with making money in large sums. 

Now that I'm in charge of my own finances, I'll be building a home on the land I have in Tennessee.  I need to be close to Jessie when I'm off tour.
