"I don't know, Rand. I was working at the diner when all of it happened." Josie had been sitting on the movie cart with a lollipop in her mouth as Randy pushed the cart around the store to put the returned movies away.
"What about when you left the house before work? Did it seem weird at all?" Randy asked.
"No. Everything seemed normal. And it was normal when I got back home after everything too." Josie told him.
"Yeah. Because the killer was behind bars for the night." Josie rolled her eyes at the boy.
"You really think it was Billy?" Josie wondered.
"He's the main suspect. It couldn't have been a coincidence that he was magically there right after the killer disappeared." Randy ranted.
"But he was there for me." Josie said.
"Or was he...?" Randy alluded to the other possibility.
"What? You think he wants to get back with Sidney?" Josie questioned. Randy shrugged.
"Maybe. I mean you were seeing James. Billy is all lonely. He obviously wanted you. But things change." Randy said.
"So he would get back with Sidney just because I was seeing James? That sounds a little sad the more you think about it." Josie laughed.
"It makes the most sense. And my seconds suspect is James. His motives are a little all over the place right now but I might be onto something. And didn't you just break up? I could add that to the drawing board." Randy rambled.
"It was mutual."
"Was it mutual for him? He seemed pissed off this morning." Randy said which caused the girl to shrug.
"What can I say, I like my men a certain way and he just wasn't cutting it." Josie looked across the store before smirking once her eyes had caught hold of Billy and she turned her attention back onto Randy. Her finger trailed across his chest which got his wide eyes to quickly move to her.
"Rand.... How come we never gave it a test run?" Josie batted her eyes at the dumbfounded boy. He began to stumble over his words. Josie clicked her tongue.
"Oh. Another Sidney admirer, I see."
"No. I just... I didn't think you'd ever see me like that is all. And Sidney she just made more sense to me." Randy tried his best to explain himself. Josie gave him a questionable yet annoyed look.
"Not that I don't still think you're smoking and a total catch..." Randy was attempting to recover from the mess of words he seemed to vomit out but Stu came up behind him hitting the movies out of his hand which made them go flying. One of the movies hit Josie causing her to shove Stu away.
"Dork." Randy said unamused.
"Jesus, this place is packed tonight, man. And you got the princess on a throne giving you attention right now." Stu wiggled his eyebrows as Josie scoffed.
"We had a run in the mass murder section." Randy commented, ignoring the other half of what Stu had said.
"Comin' to my fiesta?" Stu asked looking between the two.
"Yeah, I'm off early. Curfew, you know." Randy told him. Stu turned his attention to Josie waiting for her answer.
"I don't know. Not really feeling like partying." Josie responded.
"You have to go. It's going to be a night to remember. You'll love it." Stu tried to encourage which caused the girl to give him a confused look.
"What's that werewolf movie with E.T.'s mom in it?" A girl came up to ask Randy. Stu began to poke Josie's side which kept causing the girl to wiggle around the cart. Pushing him away while trying to control the giggles that wanted to so badly escape past her lips.
"The Howling. Horror. Straight ahead." Randy informed the girl who thanked him and walked away. Josie went to get up off the cart to get away from Stu but the boy picked her up and put her over his shoulder as she laughed.
"Oh, now that's in poor taste." Randy said to them. The two looked to the other boy in confusion at what he was talking about.
"What?" Stu wondered.
"If you were the only suspect in a senseless bloodbath, would you be standing in the horror section?" Randy asked them. Stu and Josie looked in the direction of the horror section to see Billy. He was standing in the horror section talking with two girls who were gawking at him.
"What? It was just a misunderstanding. He didn't do anything. He was trying to see our lil Jo the other night." Stu said, giving the girl's leg a squeeze while she hit his back in response.
"You're such a little lapdog. He's got "killer" printed all over his forehead." Randy told them.
"Really? I don't see it." Josie mocked confusion.
"It's not meant literally." Randy groaned which caused Stu and Josie to chuckle at his aggravation.
"Really? Well, why'd the cops let him go, smart guy?" Stu questioned.
"Because obviously, they don't watch enough movies. This is standard horror movie stuff. Prom Night revisited, man." Randy tried to explain his theory.
"Yeah? Why would he want to try and kill his ex-girlfriend otherwise known as his best friend's sister?" Stu wondered.
"There's always some stupid bullshit reason to kill your ex. And besides, he's got the hots for Josie. You'd have to be blind to not notice that. That's the beauty of it all. Simplicity. Besides, if it gets too complicated you lose your target audience." Randy said.
"This isn't a movie, Randy." Josie said still stuck on Stu's shoulder now resting there and not facing the boy she was addressing her words to.
"Well, what's his reason?" Stu wondered.
"Maybe he was still fed up from potentially Sidney not wanting to have sex with him. Or he needs Sidney out of the picture for him and..." Randy trailed off as he looked at Josie.
"I know you're talking about me, Meeks. You can shove it."
"What, you think Sidney was saving herself for you when she was with Billy?" Stu laughed.
"Maybe." Randy shrugged.
"As if." Josie mumbled but Stu had heard her which caused him to let out another laugh.
"Now that Billy tried to mutilate her, you think Sid would go out with me?" Randy asked. Stu laughed in Randy's face, Josie chuckled yet hit the boy's back which caused him to cover his mouth to stop his laugh from continuing.
"No. I don't at all. No." Stu became serious as he answered.
"You know who I think it is? You know, I think it's their father." Stu whispered. Jo's ears perked up at the mention of her dad.
"Why can't they find their pops, man?" Stu wondered, finally letting Josie to her feet.
"Because he's probably dead. His body will come poppin' up in the last real somewhere. Eyes gouged out, fingers cut off, teeth knocked out." Randy got louder as Josie looked at him, blinking with a blank expression.
"Come on, man." Stu looked around at the wandering eyes.
"There's a formula to it. A very simple formula! Everybody's a suspect!" Randy yelled. All eyes were on him at that moment.
"Even me?" Josie asked curiously.
"Everyone is a suspect, Josie. You would be the cherry on top if you were. I'm telling you, their dad's a red herring. It's Billy." Randy had answered before he turned around to be grabbed by Billy.
"How do we know you're not the killer? Huh?" Billy wondered. Stu came up behind Randy to rest his arms around his shoulder.
"Hi, Billy." Randy tried to play it off.
"Maybe your movie-freaked mind lost its reality button. You ever think of that?" Billy asked. Stu looked back to Josie to see the girl gone. He turned back to look at the interaction with Billy and Randy. Once they had closed up their conversation, Billy looked to Stu then behind him to finally take notice of the girl's absence. He still wore his crooked smile as he backed away from Randy and then headed towards the exit.

Josie had gotten out of the shower and made her way back to her room. Shutting the door behind her and locking it, she walked over to her vanity with her robe tied tightly to her. She looked at herself in the mirror, running her hands across her face trying to pinpoint the difference she was feeling. Her eyes trailed to her half unzipped bag on the floor, reaching down to grab the mask that was peaking out. Her fingers ran across the mask before she held it up to her face, looking into the mirror with this new sight. She pulled the mask back down as her eyes looked curiously at herself.
"You still look good with it." Billy's voice came from behind her. She placed the mask down, turning around towards him.
"What the hell do you want?" She snapped.
"I came to collect. Stu had to borrow my stuff since you confiscated his." Billy told her.
"Yeah, did he tell you why I took it?" She asked.
"He did. Even told me you had a costume of your own." Billy clicked his tongue.
"I was being serious. I told you to leave her alone. And you didn't listen." Josie said as the anger began to well up in her.
"Last time I checked, you don't tell me what to do. And you simply wanted to kick me to the curb for the night. No no. It doesn't work like that, Jo. You're mine. I will do what I need to in order to make sure that doesn't change." Billy walked closer towards the girl who stood up from her chair to show she wasn't intimidated by him.
"If you didn't want that to change you would listen to me. And I don't belong to you Billy." Josie told him which earned her a deep chuckle from him.
"You know that's not true, dollface." Billy looked at her with dark eyes, the girl felt the anger brimming to the top before she could say anything to fire him up, he connected their lips. They fought back and forth with a sort of hunger.
She immediately pushed him onto the bed and got on top of him, continuing to kiss him. His lips soon detached from her lips to travel to her neck. She let out a moan in pleasure. He flipped them around as he attached his lips back to her lips all the while her hands fumbled with his belt before she began to tug on his jeans. He smirked into their kiss.
"Someone's eager." He said.
"Oh, shut up and give me what I want right now before I decide to call up James instead." Josie said all she needed to to rile him up. His grip on her side had tightened before he tore off her robe and threw it to the ground. Looking down at her body like she was his prey. His shirt came off along with the rest of his clothes as he listened to her. Folding, he was going to give her exactly what she wanted.
"We've been over this before. Only I can touch you. You're mine." He hissed.
"And this," Josie's eyes stayed on him as her hands traveled down his chest, "is only mine."
Their lips attacked each others before he entered her, causing her to let out a slight gasp before moaning out in pleasure. She switched up on him quickly as she pushed him to roll over so she was on top. She wanted to show that she was just as easily in control. His grip tightened on her thighs as she continued to ride him. The two continued for a while before he switched them back around so he could take the reins again. Eventually they both made it to their highs before they had slowed down. She laid her head onto his stomach as they tried to catch their breaths.
"I know you want to keep fighting me on this, but I got it all figured out, Jo. Just let me do all the work for you." Billy spoke, turning back to the main topic at hand. She groaned before trying to pull away from him but he yanked her back so she could look at him.
"Josie." He sternly said which caused her to glare at him.
"I told you she's mine. So leave her alone." Josie snapped.
"And you'll have the final kill if you so please. But this is going to end." Billy told her.
"It's all too soon. It's not going to work out how you planned if you're rushing everything." Josie said.
"It'll work out just fine." Billy tried to assure her.
"No it's not. You don't even have a good story yet. My father as the killer? Even the girls in the bathroom at school had a better killer backstory than you."
"Jo, it's all going to happen. And it's going to happen tonight whether you like it or not." Billy told her.
"We'll see about that."

A/n: hopefully that wasn't terrible. They're so bad but good for each other I can't explain it. But how will it all end?
