Chapter 34: Olivia+ice cream= FRIENDSHIP
I went back the day after that.
Leon barged right in after Oliver left, seeing a crying mess of me.
"Still not over it?" Olivia asked me.
I giggled, "I guess I got too attached to Oliver. I mean, he did a lot of things for me."
"Even kill the co-leader of Keens Gang." She said with a stifled laugh.
"He what?" I asked as my head shot up.
"Oh, you didn't know?" She asked, eyes widening.
"Do I look like I did?" I asked sarcastically.
"Nope." She said, "But he killed the co-leader after they threatened to kill you."
I laughed so hard that I fell off my bed.
"Why are you laughing? This is serious!" She exclaimed.
"Threatening to kill me? This is gold," I replied in between laughs.
"Wait. Nevermind." She mumbled.
After I calmed down, I asked her, "How did you know?"
"Me, Olivine, and him are still triplets, no matter what. He told us the whole story before going to you." She replied.
I giggled, "I hope he's okay there."
"He sent me a text last night that he was the new co-leader." She told me.
"Oh." Was all I said.
"Hey, let's get ice cream?" She offered.
I vigorously nodded my head.
"Let's go!" She squealed and dragged me out of our base.

"I'll take this one- no, this one! Wait, no! I want that o- is that an unicorn styled ice cream? Ooh, the one next to it is drizzled in chocolate!" It's been five minutes since I've been rambling on about the ice cream, and Olivia already got her third ice cream.
"Hey! Hurry up, this is already my fourth ice cream!" Olivia told me.
I giggled and nodded.
I looked around until I saw something so cute!
The color of the ice cream was white, as pale as my skin, and there were two edible eyes with strawberry syrup dripping from it to make it look like the eyes were bleeding.
"I'll have this one!" I exclaimed.
A boy around eighteen to nineteen years old went over to me and gave it to me.
"Thanks!" I exclaimed and gave him-
"How much?" I asked.
"Fifteen dollars." He replied in a bored tone.
Sheesh, fifteen dollars?
I grumbled and handed him a twenty. He gave me five dollars as my change.
I went over to the table that Olivia was staying at.
"Sheesh, fifteen dollars for this?" I complained.
She wiped her mouth, "That's a good choice. That's one of their best sellers."
"Hm... We'll see, Livie, we'll see."
Six more cones and ninety dollars spent later.
"No wonder that was their best seller." I commented.
"Woman, you spent ninety dollars in ten minutes!" Olivia exclaimed, making people turn their heads towards us.
"Yup, I'm gonna ask Leon for more pocket money so I can eat here more." I said.
"If Leon doesn't stop spoiling you, I'll chop his balls off." Olivia said venomously.
"Don't worry, I'll take you with me." I told her.
"On second thought, maybe I won't." She said with a sheepish smile.
I giggled and dragged her out of the ice cream parlor.
"Where to next?" She asked me.
I opened my invisible map.
"To the park!" I announced, half-jumping half-sprinting to the direction of the park.
I sensed Olivia jogging up to me- or I can hear her pants.
"Do you know where you're going?!" She exclaimed from behind.
"Relax, I know the location like the back of my hand." I told her.
I saw the Starbucks next to an apartment, indicating that I'm getting close to the park.
"There!" I exclaimed, pointing to the entrance of the park.
Olivia stood next to me, panting like a dog.
"Is that it?" She asked.
"Mhm." I replied.
I haven't been to this place for seven months, wow.
"I missed this place." I said and sucked in a breath.
"This place is where Leon used to take you after a mission, yes?" Olivia asked me.
I nodded, "He stopped, though."
"Two years ago, right?" She asked again.
I giggled and mumbled a 'yup.'
"You haven't been to this place for two years then." She told me, "But you still remember where it is, by heart."
"Not two years, but seven months." I told her, then giggled. "That sounded like something an old man would say."
"Seven months? It's August, so that must mean that last you came here was January." She commented.
"Mhm." I replied, walking ahead of her, realizing we were still in the entrance of the park.
"So... Why did you come here before?" She asked when she caught up with me.
"Aren't you nosy." I said with a snicker, "I just came here to clear my head, that's all."
"Lies! Lies, I say!" She yells, pointing her finger at me.
"Insane! Insane, I say!" I copied her, also pointing at her.
People gave us strange looks but we shrugged them off.
I spotted the tire swing that Leon and I built two years ago.
I sprinted towards it and checked its state.
Strong and sturdy.
Somebody must've been taking care of this swing for the past two years. I couldn't go to this spot seven months ago so I don't know if it was still strong and sturdy before.
"Are you gonna get on it? 'Cause I've never been on a tire swing befo-"
I got on it and stuck my tongue out like a cat, "Not a chance."
She grumbled incohorent words at me while I just laughed her off.
A few minutes and I got hungry so we went to a hotdog vendor near the swing.
"Thanks!" I thanked him and took a huge bite of my hotdog, leaving only half of it.
"Uh, Dayana." Olivia called out.
"What in flipping tarnation do you want? I'm currently eating." I snapped at her.
She mouthed the words, 'Paradasial Gang.'
I cursed.
Now I know why Leon doesn't take me here anymore.
"Okay, since I'm wearing an oversized hoodie, I'll just put my hoodie up." I told her.
"What about me?!" She whisper-yelled.
"What about you?" I asked innocently.
She gave me a blank expression while I giggled softly.
"Here." I said as I shoved a mask at her.
"Seriously? Fangs?" She asked in disbelief.
I rolled my eyes, "Just put it on."
She did and her nose and mouth was covered by the mask that had fangs imprinted on it.
I nodded and we started to walk, avoiding the Paradasial members.
Until I tripped in front of them, and my hood slid down.
