Chapter 2: Split-Personality?!

I love you, you love me.

We're a happy family.

With a great big hu-

I hit the alarm clock next to me. And by hit, I mean fist to alarm clock.

I rubbed my eyes and watched in horror as I see that I have broke the three-day-old alarm clock that Leon gave me.

"Oh no." I muttered, "Kylie."

I looked at her bed. She was sleeping peacefully as if life is just a bed of roses.

A smile came to my face as I rubbed my hands together like an evil villain.

I opened my drawer where I kept all my toys.

You must be thinking: What are you, seven?

No, I am only one person and shut up. I know that's not the answer you want.

But the toys I'm referring to are my knives, guns, and well... grenades and lots and lots of more!

I picked out my plastic gun and checked if it is still working.

"Ooh, I, Dayana, am sorry for what I am about to do, best friend." I muttered to her sleeping face.

I took my bottle of blood- stop looking at me like that, it's false blood, 'kay?

I rubbed blood all over my body and even some blood on Kylie's hand. And put some blood on the floor too.

"Oh, I should put my knife." I said and took out my knife from my pocket.

I put it next to her and laid down on the floor from where the blood trail I made ended.

"Kylie!" I yelled.

She slowly shifted. I half-closed my eyes, pretending to be dead.

"Wh-what the fudge? Why is there blood on my hands? Why is there a knife next to me? Why am I holding a gun?" She asked herself.

"Dayana!" She exclaimed and I felt her shaking me.

I slowly opened my eyes, "K-Kylie."

Wow, I never new I was a great actress.

"What happened?" She asked me, her eyes teary.

"Y-you w-were killing m-me with a knife last night." I fake coughed.

"Wh-what about the gun..?" Kylie asked me, preventing tears.

"I-I don't know." I said with a weary smile.

"Wait a sec." She said and took the gun.

"Aw dang." I giggled.

"Dayana! You know I hate it when you do this kind of things!" She exclaimed.

I giggled, "Whatever."

She sighed. "Are you gonna break in today?"

I stuck out my tongue like a cat.

"Yup, after school." I informed her.

"Hm, how's school, kiddo?" She asked me.

"Shut up! You're only two years older than me." I growled, "Stop calling me kiddo."

She snorted, "You're in what?"

"Senior high school." I replied with a giggle.

"You better not be killing anybody there." She warned me.

"Nope. You know I have split-personality." I told her.

She nodded, "But aren't people with split-personalities not able to control their-"

I giggled, cutting Kylie off, "Oh dear, you must have forgot that you're talking to Dayana."

She furrowed her eyebrows then hit me on the head.

"Woman, you better have a good reason for hitting Dayana the gre- Owie!" I exclaimed when she hit me again.

I rubbed my head whilst glaring at her.

Kylie glanced at the clock, "What time is your class?"

"Hm, gonna start at twelve." I replied with a giggle.

Kylie went inside the bathroom. After a few minutes, she came out and tossed me a brush.

It hit my nose.

"Dayana! You.... are... so clumsy!" Kylie said in between laughs.

I rubbed my nose and stuck my tongue out like a cat, "But you gotta admit, it's cute."

She rolled her eyes, "Let's just clean this heck of a mess you made."

"Ugh, I'm tired." I said as I collapsed on the floor.

I glanced at Kylie who was wiping her sweat with a white towel.

"Ky..." I called out, "Is that my towel?"

Kylie looked at the towel she was holding and yelped.

"Yes?" She replied, making it come out as a question.

I giggled, "Stupid. I use that to clean my toys."

"What?!" She exclaimed and threw it at my face.

"Hey, my toys only get blood in them. Well, a bit of-"

"Shut up! I don't even want to know!" Kylie yelled at me.

I bit my bottom lip and smiled.

"What time is it?" I asked her, still smiling like a creep.

"11:15 and stop smiling like a creep. Now shoo!" She said, pushing me to the bathroom.

After taking a fifteen minute bath, I call out to Kylie for her to get my uniform.

"Ky! Can you please get my uniform?" I asked her.

"I left it there on the bathroom for you last night." She informed me.

I got dressed. Our uniform is just a white blouse topped with a sleeveless red vest. We then wear a plain black skirt (for girls). We are recquired to wear black socks (for girls again). I prefer black socks that reach out to my knees since our skirts are short. Then white shoes. On Friday's we get to wear whatever we want, though.

I exited the bathroom and was greeted by Kylie with a cute smile.

I giggled, "Can't get enough of me, eh?"

She rolled her eyes, "Did you tell Leon when you're gonna break in?"

My eyes widened, but I giggled, "Nah. He doesn't need to know."

Before she could say anything else, I walke out the room.

Before I could exit our base, I suddeny stopped when I felt a shiver up my spine.

I'm changing personalities again.

"Dayana?" Someone called out.

I turned around and saw Yuno, Olivia's room mate.

"Oh, hello Yuno. I was just heading to school. Why did you call me?" I asked politely.

"Damn. You just had to change your personality." She muttered but I still heard it.

"If you excuse me, Yuno, I need to head to school." I excused myself and nodded to her before heading off.

As I was heading to school, a lot of people were staring at me.

"Excuse me?" An old lady, probably around her fifty's pardoned herself.

"Yes ma'am?" I asked with concerned eyes.

"It must be rude to ask, but aren't you that girl who saved the little boy from yesterday?" She asked.

I furrowed my eyebrows. What was she talking about?

Oh, yes, my other personality saved an orphan from getting run over by a truck.

I nodded, "Yes ma'am, what of it?"

She smiled, "I just wanted to tell you that you're a brave soul."

I gave a small smile, "I must go to school now, ma'am."

She nodded, but, before I could even take a step, she stopped me.

"Why?" I asked her politely.

"I nearly forgot, you dropped this before." She told me as she gave me something.

I nodded and went ahead. I looked at my palm and saw that it was one of my other personality's toys.

It was a little teddy bear keychain, but, when you open it's head, it will reveal a small knife.

I'm Ana. The crazy girl is Dayana.

I shook that thought away and continued my path to school.

"Hey! Dayana, over here!" Someone called out.

I looked behind me and saw Justine- a girl with long wavy hair and bright blue eyes.

"Hey Jaz." I greeted her.

"Whoops, sorry. I forgot you only want to be called your nickname." She apologized.

I waved it off and smiled, "It's okay."

Someone suddenly bumped into my shoulder.

"Oh, I'm sorry." He said sweetly.

I flinched at his voice, "I-it's okay."
