Chapter 13: Chocolates and Roxxane

I sat upside down on my chair, bored out of my mind.

It's been a few days since our last mission. We got Kylie back the day after that.

Though there's a problem...

Kylie has amnesia. Stupid Keens gang tortured her too much.

"Just wait until I get a mission regarding you stupid gang. I will make you pay." I muttered to myself.

I fell off my chair when someone knocked on the door, falling face first.

"I'm taking that as a cue to come in." The voice behind the door said.

I grunted in response, not getting off the floor.

I heard the door open and close.

"Hey I have— Why in the name of potato chips are you lying face-first on the floor?" Oliver demanded.

"I fell off my chair." I replied plainly.

"Are you still not getting over Kylie's possibility of having amnesia?" He asked me.

I closed my eyes, "Yup."

"Don't worry 'bout it. Who knows, it might be selective amnesia." Oliver told me.

I sat down properly on the floor, ignoring the pain in my head.

"Might, Ollie, might." I told him.

"Hey, stop being sad. This is supposed to be a happy gang." He told me.

"Since when?" I asked him.

"Well, since you started making clumsy mistakes." He argued.

"Did not!" I retorted.

"Did to!"

"Did to!"

"Did not!"

"I agree, I did not." I said.

"You tricked me." He accused.

"No." I said, stretching the o, "It was reverse psychology."

He rolled his eyes and lied down on my bed.

"Oh yeah, sure, get comfy." I said sarcastically.

"There's some chocolate in that bag." Oliver told me.

I rushed over, tripping, doing a cartwheel and failed, until I finally reached the bag.

My eyes sparkled as I see different kinds of chocolate in the bag.

"Thanks for the chocolate, Ollie!" I said and opened the Toblerone.

"Wait, don't eat it, idiot!" Oliver yelled.

"Who are you calling an idiot, you idiot?" I demanded.

"You, you idiot." He replied.

"You're an idiot-er." I retorted.

"That's not even a term!" He yelled.

"Is to!" I argued.

He didn't say anything and just pulled me closer to his chest.

"Don't eat it, okay dummy?" Oliver told me.

I looked at him and giggled, "Why not? It's chocolate. You know how much I love sweets."

"Those are experimented chocolates." He told me, quickly covering his mouth with his hands.

I pulled away from his grasp and glared at him, "Are you poisoning chocolate? I hate you!"

He pouted, "Don't hate me. I love you."

I cringe, "I will die from cringing."

"Don't die yet, I haven't even become your husband yet." Oliver told me.

I gave him a look, "Stop it. Now explain why you poisoned chocolate."

He pouted, "I didn't poison it."

"What did you do to it then?" I demanded.

He stayed silent.

"It has medicine inside so we can trick you into taking it when you're sick." He admitted.

"Why this all of a sudden?" I asked, tilting my head to the side.

"I requested it since after your investigation you caught a fever but refused to take medicine." He admitted again.

I giggled and pinched his cheek, "You wanna die, don't you?"

"If it's for your sake, then yes." He said cheekily.

"That's a bit cringe-worthy, don't you think?" I told him.

"Can't help telling the truth." He shrugged.

I rolled my eyes and hit the back of his head, "What else do you wanna say? I know you have more announcements."

"Are you ready for school tomorrow?" Oliver asked me.

I shrugged. I didn't really feel like going to school but my one week suspension is already over. I'm still worried about Xander. I get a feeling he'll tell his friends about all the crazy stuff happening. I mean, training with him is good. I usually giggle and laugh when he sucks and he just smiles sweetly and when I praise him, he tells me something sweet. Don't know where he picked that up, though.

"I'm taking that as a maybe." Oliver said, snapping me out of my train of thoughts.

"Eh, not really that excited. But Ana seems like she'd be delighted." I replied.

He pinched my cheek, "I'll go now. Only eat the chocolate when you are sick, okay?"

"Yes, mother." I answered, giggling to myself.

"Well, well, well if it isn't the innocent bitch." Reina, one of the bullies, mused.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't a piece of shit that I don't care about." I retorted.

She laughed, "Honey, I'm not a mirror."

"You're right, you're not a mirror. The difference between you and a mirror is that a mirror has a purpose in life." I told her.

Gosh, if Ana was the one talking to her, she'd be on the floor right now.

"How dare-"

"-you be a bitch and ruin my mood when I'm just innocently passing by." I finished for her.

"Who told you to finish my sentence?" She demanded.

"Nobody. I just know you'd be stupid enough to not finish such a long sentence." I replied.

"Well- uhm- whatever!" She yelled and stormed off.

"Back from suspension and already bullying someone?" A voice behind me said.

I turned around and saw a girl with long, black, curly hair and sea green eyes.

I smirked, "At least I have fun, right?"

She laughed, "Didn't think I'd hear that from you, Ana."

"Please, call me Dayana." I told her.

"I'm Roxxane. The known trouble-maker of this school." She introduced herself.

I giggled, "Trouble-maker, eh?"

She nodded and smirked, "Wanna play a prank on the principal later?"

"Depends if I change personalities or not." I said bluntly.

"What?" Roxxane asked, slightly confused.

I giggled, "Don't tell a soul about my split-personality, okay?"

She smirked, "Got it. I mean, that's gotta suck, sharing a body?"

"You get me so well." I told her.

"Call me Roxxy." She said.

"Nice nickname. But I prefer Axa, that okay with you?" I asked her.

She shrugged, "Guess that could fit too."

She turned around and left.

I smirked.

Sorry Axa, but I have an eye on you. You seem familiar from a certain gang.

Let's see...

Jewel gang.
