A/n: Just a heads up, there's a lot of mentions of blood in here, so feel free to skip through it and wait for the next one-shot if you're uncomfortable with that.

Hiro, Tadashi, and Y/n all saw the fire starting at SFIT. As Tadashi ran inside to help, Y/n followed farther behind Tadashi. When the school blew up, Y/n was just barely in front of the doors, and as it blew up a piece of debris flew from the building and lodged into her torso, she hit the ground and got lightheaded and passed out.

Hiro watched in disbelief of what just happened, and an ambulance showed up soon after. Hiro and Y/n rode in the ambulance together, Y/n was knocked out and was on a stretcher in the ambulance. Hiro didn't have any injuries but he was there since he had to call Aunt Cass about Tadashi's death and about the fact that his friend was being towed to the hospital.

{Time Skip}

Y/n had arrived at the hospital and she was still passed out in the hospital bed. She was in the emergency room. Aunt Cass stood next to Hiro who was next to Y/n's hospital bed. The doctors rushed around the hospital bed, figuring out the situation and what needed to be done.

"She's losing a lot of blood and pretty rapidly," one of the doctors spoke up.

"She's probably going to need a donor.." another doctor thought out loud.

"I'll do it," a squeaky voice spoke up. Several eyes turned in the direction of the voice. The doctors murmured amongst themselves for a moment, before returning their gazes to the owner of the squeaky voice.

"You sure you're up for it kid?" A doctor asked.

"Someone has to help," the squeaky voice said, a single tear coming from his eye.

"Alright then Mr. Hamada, follow me," the doctor said, heading towards the door. Aunt Cass put a hand on Hiro's shoulder before he walked out of the door with the doctor.

"You're very brave Hiro, Tadashi would be proud." Aunt Cass told him, giving him a small smile, Hiro returned the smile and followed the doctor out the door.

{Time Skip}

Hiro and the doctor walk back into the emergency room with Aunt Cass still waiting, and with other doctors fixing Y/n's wound so she doesn't bleed out any longer. The doctors started to give Y/n Hiro's blood, within a couple minutes her eyes slowly flickered open. The doctors left the room now that Y/n was doing alright. Aunt Cass left the room to give them some privacy. Hiro sat down in a chair next to her hospital bed.

"Hey, how are you feeling?" He asked.

"Ugh.. my head hurts.. and my side hurts a little.. but otherwise I think I'm okay," she answered. When she looked at Hiro she noticed the bandage on his arm. "What's that?" She asked, pointing to the bandage on his arm.

"You were losing blood rapidly and you needed a donor," Hiro simply answered as if it was no big deal, rubbing the back of his neck with his hand. His face heated up a little, Y/n's face soon followed.

"How's Tadashi?" Y/n asked. Hiro looked down sadly.

"H-he didn't m-make it.." Hiro managed to get out, his voice cracking up.

"Oh.. I'm sorry.. I-I didn't know-" she said.

"It's alright, like you said, you didn't know," Hiro replied, looking up at Y/n and giving her a small smile. Y/n slowly sat up in the hospital bed, and she started to shift herself over to Hiro. Hiro looked at her and gave her a questioning look. She leaned over and kissed Hiro on the cheek. Both their faces turned red. She hesitantly gently grabbed Hiro's arm and gently kissed where the bandage was. If it was even possible, Hiro's face got redder.

"That's for saving my life," Y/n said, smiling at Hiro. Hiro returned the smile and he leaned over to hug her.
