"dude it's been a week and I haven't visited your apartment yet, and then you're here coming over to mine about three times already. Like what the fuck." Jaemin said.

"Jaemin, if you wanted to come over, just fucking tell me you dumbass." Renjun rolled his eyes as he flips to another page of his spell book.

Jaemin scoffs, "I would if you weren't gonna be busy all the time now that you've decided on pursuing into a professional witch doctor soon and adding more years in school. Boring."

"It runs in the family," his witch friend rolled his eyes. "And it's not my fault I did well with school and thanks to some encouragement," he highlights, aimed towards the younger.

Jaemin shrugged with a small chuckle as Renjun continued, "I wanted to be a professional witch doctor like my uncle, unlike you who works at a grocery store as a part time job."

"Woah there buddy, that's a big insult to not only me, but to everyone else who's working as a cashier or employee in a small store." Jaemin snorts as he kept tapping his fingers on his cellphone.

"I'm just saying this kind of thing is my fortè."

"Reading boring books for hours?"

"Okay, now you're the one who's insulting other people." Renjun glared.

The young vampire only smiles, taking a sip on his plastic bag of fresh animal blood that's thankfully not poisoned from whatever Renjun's spells are from.

"But if you really want to come over, best to tell me beforehand so I could tell you my schedules and if I have classes or not." Renjun said.

Jaemin hums at him before ending his sip with a light sigh, "or find someone cute in your classes and deciding on going on a date with them."

"Okay fuck off, if I was interested on someone, I wouldn't tell you shit."

"Liar, you had a crush on my classmate before in 8th grade." Jaemin mentioned with a smirk on his face.

The elder grunts, "and that's exactly why I stopped telling you about my love life."

"You actually have one?"

"You're one to talk, had been in two relationships with the last one almost dying." Renjun retorts.

"Well that wasn't entirely my fault." Jaemin mumbled back. The elder scoffs at his pathetic excuse.

Sighing and tapping his wand on the page of the book he was currently reviewing, he clicks his tongue. "These are some complicated spells I forgot to master. How do I make time for this?"

"Easy, watch Harry Potter and other witch movies." His vampire friend suggested proudly with a snap of his fingers as he pointed at him.

Groaning with his friend's bullshit, Renjun leans back to get his eyes some rest from eyeing the small text letters on the paper multiple times. "Apparently my degree is different from Harry's."

"Yeah, because Harry is actually pretty cool while you're not." Jaemin remarks, the witch friend scowling at him.

"Whatever, man. I got some reviewing to do for a small oral recitation tomorrow." Renjun speaks up with a click of his tongue.

Watching his friend pack up his things, Jaemin snorts again. "What are we? In sixth grade?" Earning a small nod from Renjun.

"Our teacher seems to feel like we are."

"Damn dude, it's not even halfway through the year."

"That's how witch education goes. Need to learn fast and all." The elder shrugged. "Oh, you wouldn't know that because you fooled around back then more than actually try to study."

"And look where I am now, atleast I graduated." Jaemin stated proudly while the elder just huffs before taking his leave.

Two weeks later, Jaemin decided to message his bitch-witch friend that he'd be coming over, if not, he'll wait for another two weeks.

Renjun has either been too busy or tired to hangout, he has some night classes where it was usually the same time Jaemin used to hangout with him so they could hunt together.

Now that the elder is busy with his studies, Jaemin was just going to work in the daytime while flying around, and then sucking some animal blood in a nearby farm at nighttime. (Don't ask on how he found it.)

"This is actually pretty nice," he comments once he was let inside in his friend's apartment, just a few doors away from his own, scanning the area with a satisfied nod.

"I'm planning on going here every two times a week since you're pretty busy now." He said as they headed towards the kitchen.

"Sure dude, tell me when and whatever, sorry about that by the way." The elder scratched his nape while Jaemin just waved him off.

"How's your studies going?" Jaemin asked, starting up a conversation.

"Eh, it's alright, I guess." Renjun replied briefly, not really knowing what to answer to that question.

"Oh, well anyone you're interested in?" The younger began to interrogate him making him roll his eyes.

"No, no one is cute or had caught my attention in that damn class."

"You must be either blind or actually speaking facts," Jaemin hums as he sits down on the stool chair and placing his arms on the counter.

Renjun laughs lightly before tucking in his wand in his long coat. "Do you want some ramen or whatever?" He asked, earning a nod afterwards.

Watching his friend walk around the kitchen, he sniffs a bit. "Are you using some spray or something?" Jaemin asked as he took another sniff, "it's so sweet in here."

He then realized the strong scent in his friend's apartment. If Renjun's blind, then he can't smell shit. His nose isn't cooperating today.

Renjun snorted while grabbing two packs of ramen, "no, Jaemin, I didn't use any."

Jaemin furrows his eyebrows, "then why the fuck is it so sweet in your apartment?"

A door opened and a cute looking raven haired walked in. Seeing an unexpected guest, he runs to another room and shuts the door.

Jaemin was flustered and raised a brow with his eyes wide seeing a stranger in his friend's apartment and then running off to another room (slamming the door shut loudly, how rude.) like he had seen a ghost.

"Answers to both of your questions are– that's my roommate," Renjun chuckled.

"Sweet."
