It's been a few months and nothing has really changed, besides the fact that the two couples are getting closer to each other everyday.

Especially Renjun and Haechan, although it's not obvious to many as they bicker... A ton.

The alpha werewolf boy is usually the one to start it– when I mean usually, I mean he's always the one.

He starts off by making jokes, some are inappropriate and some are not, besides the point.

Then, he moves on to point or make fun of his witch boyfriend in whatever he said or done whether it was recent or not.

After that, he adds a little more teasing by making more inappropriate jokes about Renjun's words, resulting him to feel embarrassed.

Once Renjun starts to fight back or scold him, Haechan brings out his ''extremely annoying cute side with that dumb earful voice'' as what Renjun would call it.

They would go off for a while until either someone steps in or Renjun gives up with his attitude.

"Injunnie~" an annoying voice– in Renjun's opinion– coos in his ear.

He clicks his tongue on the roof of his mouth and decides to ignore it, focusing on the book he was reading while writing down some notes on the messy notebook in front of him.

They're currently alone right now as his purebred omega roommate, Jeno, and his vampire best friend, Jaemin, went off to meet Jeno's parents.

It's not really an interesting story to tell, per say.

Or maybe because author feels like it's unnecessary– just imagine it as a meeting with your boyfriend's strict ass parents :)

Anyways, Jeno had told him two days prior while Renjun shared his school life and about his witch crafts.

"My mom called and heard about Jaemin and I, apparently her source was our pack leader." Jeno brought up that night.

"Oh, what are you going to do now?" Renjun asked, intrigued and a little worried for the two boys towards Jeno's omega parents.

"We're meeting them this week, probably will be home late or if not, the next day." The purebred omega replied.

"Are you two sure about it though?"

"Yeah," Jeno nodded at him. "Jaemin and I talked about it, we're both nervous but we know they have to meet him soon enough." He said, very sure of himself.

"Your parents can be strict, especially to new people." Renjun points out, "just saying."

"Well, they're strict of my well-being and how that person will treat me. But they're open-minded to these things now, they already know Jaemin's a vampire." His roommate shrugged.

"What did they say?"

"Just the usual, hoping Jaemin wouldn't hurt me or something." Jeno replied, "but I can assure you this first-meet will go well," he adds.

Renjun couldn't help but say, "I'm just expecting for your parents to be... I don't know? A little sad, I guess that it's not an alpha wolf you're dating since that's what most parents say."

Jeno laughed a little and waved his hand at him, "my parents aren't like that. They taught me to be a good omega for whom I'll be destined with, werewolf or not."

Then he looked down with his cheeks starting to heat up, "Jaemin's kinda like an alpha anyway–"

"Dear Lord, Jen. Jaemin really took your innocence away." Renjun chuckled and continued to drink his coffee.

That was their conversation that morning, and now the couple went off to meet Jeno's said omega werewolf parents for the day. Leaving Renjun having the shared apartment to himself.

Until a few hours later, a knock was heard.

And that's where Haechan stepped in.

Turns out, the alpha werewolf knew about Jeno's absence– well, obviously he would since they're literal packmates.

He engulfed Renjun in a tight hug and led them to the living room, seeing the mess on the coffee table– which is just a few open books, pens, a notebook and two mugs– one with water and one with coffee.

Renjun has an upcoming exam again, and he was lucky enough to be alone today with his roommate out of the city and back to his family home, bringing along his vampire boyfriend.

Keyword: Was.

Renjun's not saying his friends and boyfriend are really annoying, in a bad way.

But when it comes to his studies, he takes them seriously.

Jeno found that one out when he asked Renjun for food because he was hungry and whiny, the witch boy shoved a bunch of snacks in his arms before rushing off to his books.

Renjun really thought he would have a quiet day, empty apartment to himself and a peaceful mind despite the difficult studies.

Jeno isn't here to ask him for something, to whine and ask the older boy if he could play with him for a moment.

Jaemin isn't here to barge in just to meet his purebred omega boyfriend, eating whatever food they have in stock, annoy the shit out of Renjun while getting weakly scolded by Jeno and whatever best friends usually do.

Haechan isn't here to bother or tease him to no end, Jeno said the tanned male was at work today.

So he thought Haechan was indeed busy or got the message he sent earlier.

"I'm studying for my upcoming exams, which I take them rather SERIOUSLY, please, do NOT come over, love. <3"

Clear as day, right?

But here Renjun is, confused as hell on why his boyfriend came over.

"Babe, I told you not to come. Why are you here?" He grunts when Haechan tightens his hold around his figure.

"Why~" there he goes again with that voice, the alpha werewolf pouting afterwards. "Can't I visit my boyfriend?"

Sighing, Renjun really doesn't have the time for this right now. His brain is too full of stress with this exam, trying to remember each and every spell he's learned.

"Babe, I can't do this right now." He said, pushing the tanned male away from him. "Please, leave."

"What?" Haechan asks, flustered as he comes up to Renjun's face again.

"Love, don't take this in a bad way– but I need to focus on this exam. Please understand."

Haechan was speechless and didn't know if he should act like he wasn't a bit hurt by that or if he should go against it.

But he feels a little woozy right now, his brain can't really cooperate like how he wants it to.

So he stands up with teary eyes, "fine, I'll leave you alone." He grits through his teeth and storms out, leaving Renjun appalled and puzzled.
