Jaemin was at lost for words, completely frozen on his spot yet still managed to scowl harshly at the tanned male on the floor.

The purebred omega in his arms continues to bawl his eyes out, figure shaking as he was trying so hard to pull himself closer in to Jaemin's broad chest.

As if he wanted to disappear.

When Haechan abruptly stands up on his feet again, he makes a move to launch towards Jaemin, but fails miserably when the vampire boy quickly pushes him away, crashing against the shelves behind them.

When Jeno felt Jaemin's arms letting go of him just to stop Haechan from coming near them, he whimpers and wants to call out his vampire boyfriend.

But because he was so shocked, his voice wasn't heard, he couldn't cooperate with himself nor his inner omega– who's howling in the inside, calling for it's mate.

Winwin saw Jeno dropping back down to his knees while Jaemin and Haechan were snarling at each other, so he quickly rushes over to the purebred omega's aid.

Hugging him tightly, he whispers sweet nothings in his ear, hoping Jeno can calm down from it or even heard it.

Jaemin stares at Haechan's red eyes, sharp fangs showing while he keeps him on his place right against the shelves, away from Jeno.

Their eyes are almost similar to each other's, it's just that Haechan's eyes are full on glowing red while Jaemin's can still see the narrow line of his pupils.

Jaemin scans his face, his figure, his aura before looking back at his eyes, trying to figure out what the alpha werewolf is feeling right now.

Long after, Jaemin senses something from Haechan and he huffs. Pushing him back once more until he's making the tanned male hiss in pain before he lets go.

Stepping away, he turns back to Jeno and quickly yet carefully carries him bridal style. He turns to Winwin who looked conflicted on what to do now.

Does he stay with Haechan? Follow the couple? Go home alone?

He's not sure until Jaemin spoke up, "call your boss and tell him what happened, don't let Haechan go out for now."

He glances at the tanned male who looked tired now, however, they can still sense the aggression in him from a mile away.

"And stay away from him," he mutters with a small sigh. "We're heading off now, I'm bringing Jeno to my apartment."

"You kissed my boyfriend?!" Renjun yells, scowling face on while his hands were balled up into fists.

Jeno whimpers and hides himself behind Jaemin who didn't even mind, instead, he covers the purebred omega even more with his frame, shielding him from his own best friend.

"Renjun, can you not?! Think about what I just explained to you before throwing hate towards Jeno when he didn't do anything!" Jaemin yells back.

"They kissed!" The witch boy argues.

"Haechan kissed him, not the other way around. He didn't even kiss back! He didn't do anything you should be mad about towards him, because he couldn't do anything."

You see, Jaemin had called Renjun over to his apartment to tell him what happened, don't worry, Jeno wanted to tell him too.

Somehow, after the explanation was finished, Renjun still had the idea of throwing the blame to his werewolf roommate.

Whether he didn't care or he wasn't on the right mindset. Too shocked to hear that his own boyfriend would do such a thing, for real now too.

Not a joke, not a tease, not anything near those. It's full on serious.

He didn't know whether to believe or not first, on even who he should believe. There's a side of him that thinks these two boys right in front of him are lying.

Jeno whimpers behind his vampire boyfriend again from all the yelling that's going on, "I'm so-sorry, In-injun, I di–"

"Shut up!" The witch boy shuts him up with a glare, scaring the poor boy.

Lucky for them though, Renjun didn't bring his magic wand in Jaemin's apartment. Too much in a rush when he receives an emergency message from the vampire boy.

"Renjun! Stop yelling at him!"

"Then stop lying!"

"You think we're fucking lying to you right now?" Jaemin asks in disbelief, not liking this side of his best friend a bit.

Where's the Renjun who listens to what they have to say, thinking more about the situation, having the right sense of mind to know who to believe.

Where's the Renjun who's calm and understanding, the mature one in the small group of four.

Jaemin doesn't know. But he won't ask right now, he assumes Renjun is fed up with something and isn't thinking straight at all.

Maybe tomorrow he'll realized everything and finally know what to do.

However, right now, Renjun's lost.

Angry at Jeno, yelling at the two boys in Jaemin's apartment when he should've been studying in his shared apartment for his upcoming exams by now.

And you might be thinking too, why Jaemin's apartment?

Oh, so Jaemin could do this just in case their conversation goes south;

"If you really think that, then leave and go back to your apartment. Come again when you've really thought about it instead of immediately reacting badly to my boyfriend– WHO'S THE VICTIM!"

They haven't really gone this far in their arguments, not even when they were kids.

This is the first time they've both yelled at each other so much, and this is the first time Jaemin kicks Renjun out.

Glaring at the witch boy, "I'm telling you one more time, Jun. Leave, find time to think and breathe fresh air." He sternly said.

With a loud huff, Renjun decides to take his leave like he was told, too emotional and confused to stay.

Once the witch boy slams the door closed, Jaemin sighs deeply and turns to Jeno who's so tired and stressed, his pheromones emphasizing his current state.

Smiling sadly, the older boy engulfs him in a tight hug, kissing his crown as he listens to Jeno's small sniffles against his chest.
