Chapter 26

"Hey Travis." Moley said, looking at all of us."The prom is over all ready?"

Kurt walked past him to let himself in, followed by the rest of us as he closed the door behind him.

"No man, Travis got kicked out."

"Sick!! What happen man?" Moley stopped Travis to explain.

The rest of us walked off to find the kitchen. There wasn't that many people around, but enough to drown out the music that was in the background. Everyone was still at the prom and the ones that were here didn't go. Marty's kitchen was filled with munchies and bottles of alcohol sitting on the counter with more people scrabbling about. It was open to the living room, so you could see what was going on in there too. It was a pretty spaced out living room with a big table people were playing beer pong on and the TV hung on the wall with Hot Tub playing.

It looked like Marty removed the furniture, cause there was only one couch a couple was making out on at the time. The rest were patio chairs sitting around the table for people to watch the game. The end of the living room had sliding glass doors leading to the back yard and were closed. Someone opened it to come in and thats when the music got louder. Most of everyone there was outside partying in the pool or around it.

Kurt went to get into the game while Zack and I stood together, deciding what to drink. Caleb grabbed a bottle of something and a bag of chips from the counter and pulled Crystal outside with him.

"Let's get wet girl." He smirked.

"Ewe, you are not eating those in the pool." I heard her complain and that made Zack and I laugh. We didn't hear what he said afterwards, cause he opened the sliding glass doors to go out back where the music was coming from.

"Is that Bently!?" Larry yelled out from the hall way, walking up to us.

Larry was another jock from school that ran track. Zack and him must have been friends, cause Zack smiled and they slapped their hands together.

"Hey Larry, how long you been here?"

He looked up at Zack to answer him, but then notice who I was.

"Kendall?" He looked shocked to see me. "I thought you don't do parties?" He said, grabbing a bottle of vodka to pour himself a drink.

"Last year Larry, I figured I'd live it up for once." I said, grabbing an empty cup from the counter, for him to pour me some too.

"Wow, I never seen you with makeup on before." He smiled at me and then glanced at Zack "You two together?"

We both looked at eachother then back to Larry.

"No." We both said together at the same time.

"Ha,ha,ha, jinx." I laughed and he just smiled.

"So she wasn't your date for the prom?" Larry asked, as he poured the vodka into my cup. I cut him off from talking anymore, so I could go adventure outside.

"Zack I'm going outside to check it out."

"Ok, I'll be out there soon."

"Thanks Larry." I said, holding up my cup up and walking towards the sliding glass doors. I smiled at Kurt on my way out as he made his ball in one of the cups and the guy next to him got pissed he had to drink.

I opened the sliding glass doors, the music was blasting Fall out Boy's Centuries song and people were walking around or swimming in the pool. I found a lounge chair to sit in and started to sip on my drink.

I caught Caleb doing cannon balls over Crystal's head and her yelling at him for it. Others were making out in the shallow end and at the other side of the pool area.

"Enjoying yourself?" Travis asked me, pulling up another lounge chair, next to where I was sitting.

"Yep."

"Moley says Marty doesn't like Josh and if he sees him here, let him know, so can we can all bash his face in." He chuckled.

"No way? Why? Don't they play football together?"

"Ya, but I guess Josh made a pass at Marty's girlfriend a month ago and they haven't been bros ever since."

"Well good." I smiled at him. "Less drama for us, huh?" I held up my cup to smack his.

"Ya, definitely." He looked my way, but I was watching everyone in the pool still. "So you forgive me?"

"I'm good, you don't have to worry, k.  Zack has been the best date ever. He's really cool Travis, I can't believe we never hung out with him before."

"I'm I hearing relationship status in your future?" He smirked.

"No."

I think I blushed a bit, talking about Zack with him. Which was weird, cause I tell Travis everything about my flings. Why the hell was I blushing? I couldn't help to smirk, as I told him all that went down before we showed up at the prom. He gave me some oowws and aawws, which made my burning face calm down from laughing or hiting him in the chest. After I was done explaining my evening with Zack, he started to talk more in detail about him and Lexy.

"I wish I was there with you, I would have went all Lucy on her ass." I said, pissed off after hearing more of the story between them two.

"Ya, I bet you would have." He chuckled and grabbed my cup that was now empty.

"Let me get you a refill."

"Thanks, but I'll just have some beer though. I'm feeling the vodka already."

"Ok, be right back, don't let anyone steal my spot." He smirked and pointed to the chair next to me.
