Chapter 3

Hello, everyone. I'll try to keep this short.
I apologize for the late update. A lot of things have happened and, even though I had plenty of free time, I could't concentrate on writing anything. I was here, though, every single day, reading all of your lovely comments and seeing your likes! I'll say this again, I never expected this story to be so loved by everyone, haha. I was planning for it to be a small oneshot, but, as many of you like it so much, I'll do my best to make this story longer!
Also, I have only watched the first season and have read the manga until that part. I have seen spoilers that everyone changes, so I am sorry if the characters seem a lot of out of character!!
Thanks for reading!! <3 I love you all!

"Next station... Next station..."

The usual female voice announced the next station as Izuku was standing near the door frame, leaning on it and holding his phone up. He was reading the latest news of the day with a dorky smile crossed all over his face, which he tried hard not to show. After reading all of them, he exited the app and accidentally tapped on his messenger app.

Kacchan

Today

Goodnight
02:37AM

Kacchan he... He sent me this late at night. I saw it this morning but didn't reply. He also sent me yesterday morning a "Good morning" text. It was the first text message I got from Kacchan... Izuku closed his phone's scene and held it to his chest, as a gentle smile crossed his blushy face.

On Saturday he came and took me to the park and then we went to a nearby McDonald's. Kacchan paid for my meal and beverage and after that we just walked around town. He, also, bought me mint ice cream. I don't know if it was just a random choice, but Kacchan managed to get me my favourite flavour. It made me so happy! That day was so fun, if we except all the times Kacchan called me "Stupid", "Idiot" or told me to shut up the worst way possible. Izuku sighed. I, I still don't know what is going on inside Kacchan's mind. It's not like I'm sad, I just don't want to end up heartbroken in the end. His behavior is so unpredictable... He hasn't confessed any kind of feelings for me... and neither have I. He looked at his phone's lock screen one last time, before exiting from the train.

By the time he was outside his classroom, everyone had already arrived, including Katsuki. The short male greeted some of his classmates, while walking in, and started chatting with some of them. Izuku looked over at the blond, who was sitting alone with his head lying on top of his desk, but didn't say anything to him. He was too embarrassed to talk to him after their date.

There wasn't really anything for them to talk about, as most of their few conversations were about school or All Might. Even when eating lunch, they rarely spoke and Izuku was always peeking at him, thinking if he should say something or not.

Suddenly, Shota walked in the classroom with messy hair and bags under his eyes, as usual. He slammed his books on the desk and sat down. "Everyone, sit down. We have lots to do today." And so, the first period started.

Izuku moved from Ojiro's desk and quickly walked towards his, behind Katsuki. He didn't greet him, instead just sat down quietly. During the class, he kept peeking at him every once a while, but never bothered to do anything more.

While the green head was in his own little world, staring at the blond's neck, Shota gave some prints to Katsuki, telling him to pass them behind. As he turned around, his eyes met with green ones staring at him. Oh, god--! Izuku blushed a few shades of red and nervously took the prints. While trying to ignore any eye contact and calm down, he placed one of the papers on his desk and gave the rest to the one behind him. Once done, he looked up at the blond, only to see that he was still looking at him.

Katsuki smirked at his reaction and slightly licked his dry lips. "You're cute." And with that, he turned back to Shota, leaving Izuku as a blushing mess.

After a few more lessons, it was finally lunch time. Izuku would normally go to the cafeteria and have lunch with Ochako and Tenya, but that day he didn't feel like doing so. He wanted to spend some time with Katsuki. Usually, they would go outside, near the gym, and spend their break under a tree eating, talking and, maybe, sometimes laughing wholeheartedly about silly things. However, most of the time, it was just Katsuki leaning on Izuku and taking a nap, as the other male felt all the butterflies in his stomach explode, one by one.

"Eh? Deku-kun, you're not coming?" Ochako asked with a slight tilt of her head. In her hands she held a pink lunch box and a carrot juice box, as always.

"Oh, well, it's not like we can pressure you to change your mind, right?" Tenya made a step back and looked down at the short girl. "I guess it'll be just you and me. Uraraka-san." He blushed a bit, as the girl gave him a bright smile with a few nods. Tenya liked Ochako. Izuku knew that and he was happy for it. They would make a lovely couple.

"Iida-kun, don't you have to go buy lunch? The row will be very long later..." The brunette spoke as she glanced at the door. Some of her classmates were already out and heading for the cafeteria.

"Oh, you're right! I'll be going then. I'll wait for you, Uraraka-san. And, Midoriya-kun, see you later!" Tenya spoke fast as he jogged out of the classroom. As soon as he did, Ochako leaned forward on Izuku's desk and smirked one of her rare smirks.

"Please don't make that face!" The green haired boy blushed and covered his face with his hands. He knew well what his best friend was going for. I start to think it was a bad idea to tell her...

"Are you going to have a date-lunch with him?" Her face was a thousand times brighter than ever. Happiness overflowing from her huge eyes, as she leaned closer and whispered so that the blond next to her won't hear.

"I want to, but... we haven't spoken at all since then. What if he changed his mi-- Ouch!!" He was hit by Ochako. For outsiders it was just a small slap on his head, but, in reality, it really hurt. "Why would you do that??"

"Don't you see he's head over heels for you?!" She whispered angrily. "He's too shy to talk to you, that's why! Silly!" She got up and fixed her clothes. "Then, I'll be going, too. Good luck!" She winked playfully at him and walked out.

Izuku sighed. He looked up at Katsuki in front of him, who was writing down some notes. Should I ask him? It's usually him who asks me to have lunch with him. He got up and put his lunch box on his desk. Okay. I got this. I'll just ask! What's the worst that could happen. Uraraka-san said he's just shy! She's an expert in these kind of things! The short male took a long breath and courageously walked two steps forward, towards Katsuki's desk. He held his chest up from the inhale and his eyes tightly closed, for no exact reason.

"U-Um, Ka, Kacchan(!), would you like to...?" He opened one eye and looked down, to see if Katsuki was actually listening to him. To his surprise, the blond had put down his pencil and was staring at him, failing at holding back his smirk. His left cheek was resting in his palm, waiting for Izuku to continue.

"Would you? Wou-would you, you... em," Izuku's face got red and he knew it. Having his "boyfriend" looking at him with such an amusing look, didn't make things easier for him. He took in one sharp breath and looked down at his hands. "Would you have lunch with me...?" He said silently, with a tiny bit of disappointment.

However, it soon disappeared, as he heard books closing and clothes moving. "Sure." Katsuki was standing close to him and spoke in a soft voice, while staring at the surprised boy for a bit. Then, he turned around to take his lunch out from his side bag.

After a moment of mental fan-boying, Izuku grabbed his lunch and, soon, they were both out of the classroom. The hallways were full of teenagers talking laughing and, some of them, shouting unstoppably. Katsuki was walking slowly with one of his hands inside his fallen pants' pocket and the other holding the lunchbox, sending terrifying glares here and there. On the other hand, Izuku quietly followed him from behind, not sure if he should stick close to him, or keep a decent distance between them. His mind was still travelling to what had occurred a few minutes ago, causing him to bump into other studentsa lot.

"Watch your step, kid!" A tall senior scolded Izuku after he had accidentally stepped on him. Katsuki heard that and turned his head back slightly, just to be able to see his boy.

"A-ah, I-I-I'm sorry! I apologise!" He said loudly and bowed deeply a few times more than enough. The senior blinked awkwardly and sheepishly scratched the back of his head, saying that it was actually okay. Izuku looked at him with a smile and thanked him before pacing towards the blond. "Sorry, Kacchan, I made you wait." He spoke as soon as he realized that he had made him wait for him.

"'S fine. Are you alright?" Katsuki asked with concern as now they were walking next to each other. Both of his hands were placed behind his head making his sleeves fall down.

"Yeah. I'm alright. Don't worry." Izuku replied with a smile, walking a bit forward, so that the taller male's elbow wouldn't hit his face. Although Katsuki's voice was as emotionless as always, he was happy that he was concerned about him. Maybe Kacchan actually likes me!

Very soon, they got out of the main building and headed towards the gymnasium. There were some students from the basketball club, doing laps around the huge building, some girls taking photos of them from behind trees and a single security guard, standing at the back entrance of the school. Even though they could hear the footsteps and fangirling, the two males were quite far from the students, sitting under the shadow of a tree.

"Ah, Kacchan, my Mum made your favourite spicy rice balls. I got some for you, too. Have some. If you want..." Izuku spoke as soon as he sat down on the right side of Katsuki and opened his lunch box, remembering his Mother's words. Katsuki hadn't even touched his lunch and stared at the other's rice balls. He really didn't like taking food from others, but he loved how Izuku's Mother did the spicy filling. Just the way he liked it. (It was the only reason why he would agree to have lunch at Izuku's.)

"Aagh! Fine, if you insist so much." The blond spoke in a flustered and acting way while he snatched one of the balls, taking a big bite. Izuku was shocked from his sudden reaction, but, soon, forgot about it, as, yet again, there was silence between them.

Katsuki ate his lunch without saying anything and, even though he had some things to chat about, the green head didn't speak either. The taller one wasn't even facing him. He was looking at the basketball team, which made Izuku feel distant. Unconsciously, he lifted his empty lunch box and shifted his body a bit further from his classmate, for no exact reason. He sighed.

"Tsk." A sound was heard from Katsuki's way. Izuku was about to turn around, but soon got pulled by his left arm and fell on him. His head was on the other's chest, while his right hand rested on his stomach and the other held him up, still having the blonde's hand clinging onto it.

Eh...

EEEHHHH?!?!?????

A huge amount of blood rushed to the green's face as he kept staring at nothing, not moving at all. Kacchan... He, he... Katsuki's hand moved from his arm towards his right shoulder and pulled him closer, to be more comfortable.

"Don't run away, oi." He spoke under his breath and placed his head on the other's. He could smell the same shampoo Izuku has been using since birth. That sweet and refreshing mint.

Oh. My. God. What do I do? What do I do?! Izuku breathed heavily. His anxious eyes looked at every direction, trying to calm down his heart. He's so close. And he's warm. He looked up to see some of Katsuki's hair and his left shoulder.

"Kacchan?" He spoke, but the other male didn't say anything nor moved. He made another attempt. "Kacchan...?". Nothing. The only sound coming from the blond was his slow breathing. Is he sleeping? Izuku moved a little bit from his position to have his head directly under Katsuki's chin.

He could smell his scent and feel his warmth. His hand felt hot, placed on his shoulder, hotter than his blushing face. It felt nice and Izuku felt loved. He moved his arms and wrapped them around Katsuki's waist tightly. Kacchan is so nice and comfortable when he's asleep. He's also very worked out and muscly... How did you manage to become so strong, even though you're so young?

"You are so awesome. You have managed to surpass all of us..."

"Of course I have. I'm the best."

Izuku's eyes widened as he heard his boyfriend reply. His face lit up like lava and he covered it quickly with both hands, curling up on his spot. He wasn't asleep. He wasn't asleep. He wasn't asleep. He wasn't asleep!! Katsuki tried to hold his laughter in, as he successfully managed to trick the shorter boy. He thought it would nice to use that as blackmail for later, but Izuku's reactions were too cute. He patted his head and gently placed a kiss on his green hair. His pale cheeks got a pinkish colour, as he turned the other way.

Fuck, I did it without thinking. He thought. Fortunately for him, Izuku didn't feel anything and just stayed still under the tree. "Oi, it's time for the next class. Are you going to stay like this all day?? I ain't picking you up." Katsuki spoke as he got up and lightly tapped the sitting male's side with his foot. Izuku looked up slowly, embarrassment written all over his face. He took one long breath and stood up with a smile.

"I'm coming, Kacchan!"
