I glanced at him as he looked up at the sky. His glistening pelt was drenched as the rain drizzled down to the glistening grass. He looked back at me with his light blue blazing eyes. My eyes were huge as I sat there looking at him. "Ouch" I exclaimed as a raindrop fell in my eye. "Jaaaay!!! The rain attacked me." I mewed as he stifled a mrrow of laughter, lifting his powerful body off the ground. He placed his silent paws on the ground in front of me as I soon stood up and stretched. He nuzzled my head as I purred. "Well, I guess we should head back to the pack" he meowed. I nodded my head as I followed him along the trees. It wasn't long before the old red Toyota truck was in view. There were branches and leaves covering the back making it seem like a den. Jay leaped up on the truck's hood, yowling to keep silence for our ancestors that lived in the skies, now hidden by dusty clouds and cold grey rain. A few minutes passed and the pack continued out their duties. The night patrol headed out to protect our borders. Jay and I clambered through the thick branches into the back where our dry den was. I curled up and he later rested his body down curling his tail around me. I snuggled up against him as my eyes batted closed and my mind filled with dreams.
