Next Morning...

Sanskar was sleeping peacefully when is sleep was disturbed by the sun rays peeping through the window of his room... he got up saw the time and went to washroom to fresh up for the day... after coming from bathroom fully ready, he checked his phone out of his habit to read news and important mails.. He saw Swara's message from yesterday... he hurriedly opened it and read "hello Sanskar... sorry for the late reply but I was with dad talking about today meet... and guess what! He is so happy listening that I am ready to give this a chance..." "Sanskar you there..." "Okay, then good night" "will talk tomorrow"

After reading the message, he texted back "Good morning Swara, didn't see you message yesterday, slept early" "how are you?" "Do you have any plans for today evening?" "Don't mind but I was thinking to meet up for our first official date for the courtship... I know it was quite early but I really want this to work up."

After a minute or so, he mobile blinked showing incoming text which read "good morning to you too" "I am good, you say?" "Oh no! There is no reason to mind, and yes I am free in the evening, just needed to do practice for my next show... but don't worry I will bore you today with my practice... I hope you won't mind"

Sanskar replied "what practice?"

Swara texted "oh yeah! I didn't tell you right? I am a singer and next week is my performance in a concert of my friend and I need to rehearse a little for the same"

Sanskar replied "okay! That's good and I won't mind listening to your beautiful voice" "so tell me at what time should I pick you"

Swara "actually, you need not pick me, tell me the place I will reach there... actually befor that I am going to meet my friend and will come to meet you directly from there"

Sanskar replied "ok then... will meet up at ABC café, after dinner will go to lake side to do your rehearsals"

Swara texted "ok then, meet you in the evening... byee"

Sanskar texted "bye."

In the evening... @ ABC café...

Both Swara and Sanskar are sitting and chitchatting with each other and having their dinner too.. Both became such good friends in a span of two days only and today sharing their life's moments with each other.

After having dinner, both headed towards lake side and are sitting on the ground and talking to each other having the comfort of nature. Sanskar asked her to continue her rehearsals and he will listen to her. Swara was hesitant at first then on his insistence she two songs so sweetly and Sanskar was too lost in her song that he didn't realize when she completed and sat beside him. It was when he came out of his lost state when she asked "did you like it? Was it good enough that she can sing it in concert?" Sanskar replied "superb!! I didn't know that you have this quality too... hats off." He said the last part dramatically. She playfully slapped him on his biceps and he smiled. After a few moments of silence, he dropped her home bidding a good night.

Like this, six months passed and these two came pretty close. As they already were good friends but they developed few feelings towards each other's but didn't confess it yet. Both were somewhere aware about each other's feeling and they didn't feel the need to convey the same to each other. In these six months, she visited his home many times and met his family and is pretty close to his mother too, she treats swara same as her son and whenever there are agreements between them, it is his mother only which help solve their issues. Sanskar's sister Uttra is swara's bestest friend too and whenever she needed any advice, she contact only swara. He was so happy seeing swara being favorite of his family.

Sanskar is no less, he too has regular contacts with Swara's family and his father adored him the same as Swara. He even asked them to now marry soon so that he can dance in their wedding but Swasan being in courtship period laughed at his request and asked him to wait some more time... but now the parents are no less, both the families together decided to talk to them about the same.

One fine day, swara's parents called Sanskar and asked him to come to meet them without telling swara... swara's dad asked sanskar if he was ready for the wedding or not? Sanskar replied them that he has no issues but he wants to give swara her own time to think about the same and don't want to pressurize her for anything. Her father nodded and asked him if he loved her. He didn't reply anything for a few seconds but then sighed and said "uncle, I don't know how can I say that to you but yes I love your daughter very much and I want to spend the rest of my life with her only but I am still not so sure about her feelings.. We are pretty good friends and I know she too have some feelings but I am not sure if these feelings have yet been converted into love or not. And before finding that out I don't want to pressurize her for marriage, I hope you understand uncle." Her father nodded and placed his hand on his head and blessed him "God bless you beta! I hope you will soon find out her feeling and make me the happiest father by marrying my daughter." He nodded and left from there taking his blessings.

On the other side, sanskar's mom too called swara to talk to her alone. Swara reached at Sanskar's house and greeted her mother and asked about the cause of this meeting. His mom directly came to the point but vey lovingly asked Swara whether She loves her son or not. Swara was silent for a moment but then replied in positive shyly. His mom smiled and hugged Swara and then again asked "then why are you two delaying the talks of marriage?" Swara replied "aunty I don't know why your son is delaying the process but I am just waiting for your son's proposal. He just knows to handle his business meetings but have no idea that a boy needs to propose his girl for the marriage." His mom replied "Oh... that's the matter? I know my son has no knowledge in such issues... but don't worry, I am here na, I will handle him and soon we will make you two married, after all I too need my swara to come soon in our house permanently so that he can handle my son's daily tantrums and I can get some peace." His mom said the last line teasingly while laughing. Swara blushed listening this and hugged his mom. After talking for some more time and having lunch there only, Swara left from there in the evening before sanskar came back from his office...

Same night...

Sanskar was resting in his room when his mom knocked the door and came in. Sanskar got up and asked her mom to come in. she came in and sat on his bed and asked him to place his head in her lap and started caressing his hairs lovingly. Sanskar was enjoying his mom's pampering. His mom asked "beta! Can I ask you something?"

Sanskar "yeah mom! Anything... from when you started asking permission for asking anything from me?"

His mom "no... It's just that I want to know your feelings towards Swara? Do you really love swara?"

Sanskar "Mom, you already knows that I love her and want her to be my life partner then why are you asking it from me so suddenly?"

His mom "if you love her, then why are you delaying the marriage talks, it's not that we will get you married tomorrow... these things will take time beta... atleast give us the concent to start up the preparations"

Sanskar "mom, it's not that... actually I just want to confirm first whether swara also loves me or not... I don't want to pressurize her for anything"

His mom "then what did you think? How would you come to know about the same?"

Sanskar "that's the problem mom; I don't know how to know about her feelings towards me? I am so confused... you tell me mom, what should I Do?"

His mom after thinking for a few moments asked him to propose her, this way he will come to know about her feelings. Sanskar was not convinced about this idea of proposing her directly. His mom then makes him understand that he should not complicate the matter but such sensitive issues should be dealt with clearly so that there remains no confusion. He was lost in his thoughts and then smiled brightly and hugged her mom for giving him the idea of proposing her and he promised her to soon propose her. And he is certain that she will not be able to reject him after his confession. His mom left from there bidding him goof night. He was lost in her thoughts and soon sleep engulfed him.
