Episode # 3: Unwritten Destinies
Episode # 3: Unwritten Destinies
Leap of 3 Months
The scene opens with Swara and Sanskar working in Sanskar's cabin. Sanskar is sitting on the couch while Swara is near his desk. Sanskar asks Swara to fetch a file from his drawer.
Swara opens the drawer and discovers a photo of a young man with Sanskar. Curious, she holds it up and asks, "Sanskar, who is this boy with you?"
Sanskar glances at the photo and then at Swara, his expression turning wistful. "He's Shaurya, my best friend, my brother, my everything."
Swara looks surprised. "Oh, then where is he now? I thought you were the only child of Shakshi and Rajnath's uncle."
Sanskar sighs deeply. "Come here, I'll tell you."
For the first time, Sanskar shares his past with Swara. Over the past three months, Swara has proven herself to be a caring and trustworthy friend. Sanskar, who had previously kept his past locked away, has grown close to her. Both have become more than just friends; they've become confidants.
As Sanskar recounts his story, Swara listens, her eyes filling with tears. She begins to cry silently, overwhelmed by the weight of his words. Sanskar, initially taken aback, notices Swara's red nose and puffy eyes.
"Hey, Swara, why are you crying?" he asks, his voice filled with concern.
Swara's tears turn into loud sobs. She grabs a tissue box from Sanskar's hand, pulls out several tissues, and wipes her face. The box ends up thrown at Sanskar's face as Swara continues to cry.
Sanskar, bewildered, watches her with wide eyes. "I didn't even cry this much. Why are you so emotional?"
Swara, through her tears, manages to say, "Your story is so touching. What can I do if it makes me cry?" She glares at him with an angry pout.
Sanskar, feeling helpless, slaps his forehead and then looks at her with a mixture of concern and exasperation. "Okay, my mother, stop crying. It's just the past."
Swara's tears begin to subside as she asks, "But those people are still out there, living without any punishment..."
Sanskar stands up, his expression serious. "I know, Swara. I know everything about them. Even though I'm far from them, I keep an eye on that family. My men are always watching."
He thinks to himself, glancing at Swara: And I know you were supposed to marry Arjun. I also know why he wanted to marry you. But I still don't know her name, and learning that she and her family are yours only fuels my anger.
Swara, sensing his distraction, calls out, "Sanskar? Where are you lost?"
Sanskar snaps back to reality. "No, nothing."
Swara, deep in thought, asks, "Sanskar, why didn't you tell your real parents everything? What's their name? Yeah, Vikraam Maheshwari and Suman Maheshwari ;) (guys shocked??? )
Sanskar, with a sad smile, said, "You know, they are just puppets of my fake parents, Sujata and Ram Prasad. Until I was 20, I thought they were my real parents. I had no idea that they exchanged me with their real daughter, Uttara, just for property."
Flashback:
Twenty years ago, both Suman and Sujata were pregnant—Suman with her second child and Sujata with her first. The family lawyer announced the will of Sanskar's grandfather, who stated that a valuable piece of land worth over 200 crores would only be given to the second grandson when he turned 20.
Desperate for the land, Ramta prayed for Sujata to have a son and even consulted black magicians. When both women went into labor simultaneously, Sujata gave birth to Uttara while Suman gave birth to Sanskar. Before the doctor could make any announcements, Ram bribed him to switch the babies. Thus, Sanskar became Ramta's child, and Uttara became Vikram and Suman's child.
Vikram and Suman, having no interest in the land, were content with their daughter. In contrast, Ramta's sole motivation was inheritance. Arjun discovered the truth at age 18 and realized that if the second grandson died, the land would go to the third grandson when he turned 27. That's why Arjun tried to kill Sanskar—to secure the land for himself.
When Sanskar's "death" was reported, Ramta mourned only for the lost opportunity to gain the land, leading to their favoring Arjun to secure any potential share. Sanskar, heartbroken and aware that Ramta would only cause more harm, decided to leave his true family behind, not wanting to break Uttara's heart and to avoid further manipulation and danger.
Flashback ends..
Swara jumped from her sofa and shouted, "Sanskarrrrrrrrr!!!"
Sanskar, startled by her shout, asked, "Swara, what happened?"
Swara replied, "Sanskar, you mentioned that Arjun is one year younger than you. Since you're 27.5, it means he'll be turning 27 in a few months."
Sanskar nodded, "Yeah, but why are you asking?"
Swara exclaimed, "Arjun will get the land papers soon! They rightfully belong to you!"
Sanskar shrugged, "I don't care."
Swara placed her hands on her waist, "How can you say that? It's your right. You should claim it!"
Sanskar sighed, "Swara, you know I don't want to face them."
Swara was exasperated, "Ugh..."
Sanskar smiled at her antics and said, "Okay, back to work." Swara made a face but resumed her tasks.
While Swara worked diligently, Sanskar mischievously made a paper ball and threw it at her, hitting her nose.
Swara winced and looked at him, who was now silently working. She picked up a file and threw it at him, hitting his head.
"Ouch!" Sanskar exclaimed. "Swara, I only threw a paper ball, and you threw a file?!" He pouted.
Swara got up and started hitting him with a cushion, "You idiot! I was working silently, and you disturbed me!" They began a playful fight, throwing cushions and files at each other. In the end, they were laughing and playfully pulling each other's hair.
"Ahhh, you idiot! Let go of my hair!" Swara cried.
"You dwarf, first let go of mine!" Sanskar retorted.
Swara laughed, "Donkey! Your hair is only one inch, mine is more than two feet!"
Sanskar pulled her hair, "So what if it's two inches or two feet? Hair is hair!"
They both stopped when they heard laughter and turned to see Rajnath, Shakshi, and Anjali standing at the cabin door, laughing heartily.
Embarrassed, Swasan quickly composed themselves and made themselves presentable.
Sanskar asked, "Mom, Dad, Anjali, what are you all doing here?"
Raj replied, "We came to discuss something important, but it looks like we're witnessing a Tom and Jerry fight." He chuckled.
Shakshi, trying to control her laughter, said, "Alright, enough of this. Let's go to Raj's cabin. It looks like a tornado hit this place."
They all moved to Raj's cabin.
Sanskar asked, "Now, what do you all want to discuss?"
Raj, Shakshi, and Anjali exchanged glances before speaking.
Shakshi said, "Actually, we want you both to get married."
Swasan responded in unison, "Whattttttttt?!"
Anjali added, "Before you both say anything, I need to speak with Sanskar." She then turned to Swara, "Shakshi and I need to discuss this further."
Anjali and Shakshi took Sanskar aside.
Anjali said to Sanskar, "I know you're aware of everything about Swara. That's why I'm suggesting this marriage. After everything that's happened, I trust no one more than you for Swara. You both are best friends with a deep connection due to your shared past. I don't think you'll find anyone who understands each other better than you two. The rest is up to you. We're waiting for your answer in Raj's cabin." She left with Shakshi.
Shakshi then turned to Swara, "Beta, I know this was sudden, but I believe you both are suitable for each other. You know Sanskar's past, as he shared it with you in the cabin. He trusted you after many years, which shows how much he values your friendship. You both understand each other deeply and need someone who can truly understand you. I'm waiting for your answer in Raj's cabin." She left as well.
Swara, biting her nails, thought, "Marriage with Sanskar? He's handsome, but being a husband? I need to talk to him." She ran toward Sanskar.
Sanskar thought, "Marrying Swara? I know she's a sweet girl and will be a great partner. Considering her suffering due to my so-called family and the Gadodias, she's incredibly courageous. I don't want her to face any more pain because of them. We could make a great husband and wife." He grinned and headed toward Raj's cabin.
Swara, standing on the other side, was confused as she heard him. "How am I related to the Maheshwari? And who are the Gadodias?" She sighed, "It's so confusing, but I'll ask Sanskar later. For now, I'll focus on what he said about us being a great husband and wife." She blushed a little and headed to Raj's cabin.
