Episode # 1: Unwritten Chapters

Episode #1:

Leap of 3 years...

The scene opens at the airport, where a man dressed as a driver is waiting. He receives a call from his employer.

"Yes, Madam?" the driver answers.

"Did he arrive?" the voice on the other end inquires.

"The flight has just landed," the driver replies.

"Okay, call me when he's out," the voice instructs.

"Okay, Madam," the driver says before muttering to himself, "Where is Baba now?"

He is startled when he feels a sudden pressure on his feet. Looking down, he sees Baba gripping his feet. Baba is taking his blessings in his unique way.

"Oh Baba, what are you doing?" the driver exclaims. "If you want my blessing, you don't need to touch my feet like this. But here you are gripping them so tightly. Why?"

Baba stands up with a wide grin, revealing himself as a 27-year-old man with a well-built body, shiny hair, branded shades, dark blue jeans, a white high-neck shirt, and a black jacket.

"Raju Kaka, it's true that I'm your owner, but you're also my elder," Baba says, putting his arms around the driver's shoulders. "I gripped your feet tightly because if I touched them lightly, you'd jump and refuse to let me take your blessings. You'd start saying things like, 'No Baba, this isn't right. You're my owner, and I'll be punished by the Lord if you touch my feet. Blah, blah, blah.' So this is my way of taking your blessings, which is just snatching them."

Raju Kaka, looking slightly annoyed but amused, says, "Okay, Baba, forgive me. Now let's go. Madam is waiting for you."

The young man grins and responds, "Anyway, my beauty will be waiting for me," winking at the driver.

"Baba," Raju Kaka says with a smile, "after seeing this side of you, no one would believe you are the most arrogant and rude architect in the world. You've just received the Best Youngest Architect Award and run the number one company, SG Builders."

The young man, now identified as Sanskar, turns and smiles. "Kaka, I know I'm rude, arrogant, and stern, but that's only for work and business. Otherwise, you'll find all shades in me—naughty, flirty, and traditional. Like the fifty shades of love," he winks again.

Confused, Raju Kaka asks, "But Baba, rude, arrogant, flirty, naughty, and traditional are only five shades. Where are the remaining shades?"

Sanskar pats his forehead and says, "Kaka, you're becoming like a child day by day. I was just giving an example. Now let's go. I need to meet my beauty and darling."

Raju Kaka nods and drives Sanskar to a large hospital. The name on the building reads "Goenka's Hospital." Sanskar hops out of the car and nearly runs inside. He bursts into a cabin, calling out, "Darling!"

Inside, he finds two women.

"Oops, Beauty, you're here too. Wow!" Sanskar exclaims as he goes to both women and hugs them together.

"Sanskar!" one of the women, identified as Shakshi Goenka, says. She is Sanskar's mother the head of the hospital and a cardiologist.

"Mom, I missed you so much," Sanskar says, embracing Shakshi.

"Hello, Sanskar beta. How are you?" the other woman none other than Anjali, asks.

"Anjali, Beauty, how are you? And how is Dida?" Sanskar replies, referring to Anjali and Shakshi respectively.

Anjali, smiling, responds, "She's fine, beta. When you're free, do come home, okay? And Shakshi, I'm heading out to inform you about your schedule."

Anjali works as Shakshi's PA and administration head, and their bond is more like that of real sisters.

Sanskar hugs Shakshi again and says, "Mom, I miss you so much."

Shakshi replies, "I missed you too, beta. Did you call your dad?"

"Nope, I'm planning to surprise him," Sanskar says. "But Mom, I asked you to find a personal assistant for me. The previous one only knew how to touch up her makeup, and I just hate employees like that."

Shakshi smiles and says, "I know you value professionalism. Don't worry. Anjali's daughter, Swara, has just completed her graduation in architecture and is looking for a job. Why don't you give her a try? This way, she can also get some training."

Sanskar, thinking to himself, considered the idea his mother suggested. "The idea is good, Mom. We've seen how Beauty handled everything at the office and the hospital over the past two years. Her daughter will likely be just as capable. You can ask her to send Swara to my office tomorrow. I'm off to surprise Dad now. Bye!" He gave his mother a final hug and a kiss on the cheek before leaving.

Sanskar arrived at SG Builders, his demeanor transformed into that of a professional businessman. No one would have guessed his earlier playful side if they saw him now. He nodded to the greetings of the employees and made his way to the large glass cabin of his father's office.

Inside, Rajnath Goenka, Sanskar's father, was immersed in work. Sanskar approached from behind and hugged him tightly, exclaiming, "Daaaadddd!"

Raj looked up, surprised. "Sanskar! When did you come back?"

"Just two hours ago," Sanskar replied. "I went to see Mom and Beauty first, and now I'm here."

"You should have rested a bit," Raj advised.

Sanskar pulled up a chair in front of Raj's desk. "Dad, you know work is my passion."

Raj's smile faded slightly as he said, "Then why don't you come out in front of the world? You've already won so many awards at the young age of 27."

Sanskar's expression grew blank, and he tightened his grip on the paperweight on Raj's desk. Raj noticed but said nothing.

"I have to go now," Sanskar said, standing up abruptly and leaving the cabin.

Raj received a call from Shakshi. Sighing, he answered, "Hello, Shakshi."

"Hello, Raj," Shakshi's voice came through. "Did you talk to him about coming out in front of the world?"

"It was just a slip of the tongue," Raj said.

Shakshi sighed. "What do you think?"

Raj replied, "He just needs a push. I know he'll never step into the limelight for himself. He doesn't want anything for himself."

Shakshi said, "I hope someone will come into his life so that he'll have a reason to step out for her."

Raj agreed, "I hope so too."

Meanwhile, in a modest house, Swara was working in the kitchen. Her appearance had changed drastically from the bubbly, chirpy girl she was three years ago. Today, she was still confident, but her usual light-heartedness had been replaced by a serious demeanor.

A voice called from behind, "Shona!"

Swara responded, "Coming, Dida." She went to find her grandmother, Dida, sitting in the hall watching TV. Swara placed a cup of tea in front of Dida and sat beside her, sipping her coffee and watching TV in silence.

Dida looked at Swara, her eyes filled with a deep sadness. She missed the cheerful granddaughter she had lost three years ago. The girl sitting beside her now was a shadow of the lively Swara she once knew.

When Anjali arrived home, she saw Dida's pained expression and understood her thoughts.

Swara noticed her mother's arrival and said, "Maa, you're home. Let me get something for you."

Anjali responded, "Swara, you need to go to SG Builders tomorrow. Shakshi Ma'am talked to Sanskar about your job, and he agreed to see you. But remember, he's very punctual and doesn't tolerate lateness. In matters of work, he's stricter than a principal."

"Okay, Maa," Swara said.

Swara went back to the kitchen, and Anjali approached Dida.

"Maa," Anjali said, "how many times do I have to tell you? Don't think about Swara's past."

Dida replied sadly, "But I miss my granddaughter."

Anjali tried to comfort her. "I miss her too, Maa. But it's better that she lost her memory than if she remembered everything that happened in the past."

Flashback: Three Years Ago

When Dida suffered a heart attack, Anjali was devastated. She and her mother left the city in a broken state. Dida's condition was critical, and Anjali was deeply concerned about Swara, who had not been in touch with them.

Seven months passed, during which Anjali struggled to find a stable job. She rented a modest house and moved in with her mother. Her concern for Swara only grew as the months went by.

One day, while working at a garment shop, Anjali was unexpectedly visited by Shakshi, an old school friend. Shakshi was taken aback by Anjali's current situation. After some initial shock, Shakshi offered Anjali a job at her hospital. At first, Anjali hesitated, not wanting to rely on anyone's favor. However, Shakshi insisted on providing her with training first. If Anjali proved herself capable, she could join the hospital staff.

Anjali accepted the offer, and over the next three months, she trained diligently. During this period, Sanskar frequently visited his mother and formed a bond with Anjali and her mother. Despite her new environment, Anjali often felt a sense of unease whenever she entered the hospital.

After four months of training, Anjali was promoted to Head of the Administration Department. While making her rounds, she came across a room that made her feel restless. She opened the door and was shocked to find Swara lying on the bed, motionless.

"Swara!" Anjali cried out, rushing to her daughter's side.

A nurse, noticing Anjali's distress, called Shakshi. Shakshi arrived and, upon seeing Anjali holding the girl, became worried. "Anjali, what's wrong? Do you know this girl? She's been in a coma for almost 11 months."

Anjali's heart sank. "A coma? Shakshi, she's my daughter, Swara!"

Shakshi was stunned. "What? She was found near a river, badly injured. After a flood came through, we couldn't trace her address properly."

Anjali hugged Swara tightly, tears streaming down her face. "I'm so sorry, Shona. I'm a terrible mother. I couldn't find you. I'm so sorry." She kissed Swara's face and head as she cried.

Shakshi tried to comfort Anjali. Meanwhile, Swara began to show signs of response to her mother's affection. After a week, she opened her eyes.

Anjali's joy turned to shock when Swara didn't recognize her. Shakshi explained that Swara's head injury had caused memory loss, but there was hope that with time, she might regain her memories.

However, Swara's mind seemed resistant to recalling her past. Despite their efforts, she did not return to her carefree nature from before the accident. Anjali and Dida accepted Swara's new reality and tried to adapt, though they missed the old, vibrant Swara.

Flashback Ends

Back in the present, tears streamed down Anjali's face as she spoke to Dida. "Maa, we've endured so much. I don't want Swara to know everything that happened. I don't know what happened that day, but I suspect Ragini was involved. What should I do? I want my old Shona back, but I don't want her to remember the pain of her past. What should I do?"

Dida comforted her daughter. "Anjali, don't worry. Someone will come into Shona's life who will help her regain her old, bubbly self without being hurt by the past."
