Hi guys back with an update. Hope it lives up to your expectations.

Two days later .

            Swara liked the chaos that comes with waking up.  The hustle to get ready and still find time to cook for him ,kept her busy till she took her leave for work .

         So she was pleasantly surprised when she saw him in the kitchen ,she must be hallucinating she hoped but yet his presence filled the room that she had to finally relent and admit Sanskar Maheshwari was in her house .

              " Sanskar Tum.." She began but before she could speak more her mother made an appearance .

           " Why don't you join us for breakfast beta " her mom invite made her wonder what was going on in her house . Sanskar turned to follow her but swara curiosity won out as she held on to his hand and halted him from leaving .

         " What going on " she asked him .

         " I don't know swara ,your dad called and asked to see me before I head to office " Sanskar voiced out ,he had believed swara was aware of the reason hence took the first opportunity to go after her to find his answers .

              He knocked the door all the awhile wondering what could be the reason for the invite ,swara mom opened the door and let him know her husband will join him shortly and swara was in the kitchen .

            He didn't know if he was a guest in the house or a family member but he took the risk of walking inside the kitchen to find her and her shocked expression made him aware ,swara was clueless about her father call .

                Thankfully ragini didn't wake up early that day and hence only dadi accompanied the dinning hall . Swara was worried about him as he remained silent through out breakfast .

             " Sanskar beta can you drop me off at office ,and swara you can join us " her father casual invite surprised both of them and yet they found themselves following through it .

               Sanskar waited anxiously for swara dad to speak up ,the wait and the agony of his silence was worrying him .Yet he kept his attention to the road and still sneaked glances at swara who seemed nervous as well .

             " Let talk in my cabin " Shekar spoke up and waited till the two of them followed him . Swara hand reached out and held his in a show of support or maybe she needed his support .

                 As they stepped inside Shekar  Gadodia office ,he simply asked them to sit and went back to looking his file and after five minutes of silence it was swara who spoke up finding her voice .

         " Dad what going on ?" Swara made herself speak up. She was nervous and worried but the wait was making her more tensed .

        " Already impatient , Look Swara ,you were my daughter who never had a father till now and I can't march into your life and act like one . That why I waited ,waited till you make up your mind about your marriage .

       And yet you both kept your silence till now ,and only last night you mom told me ,you were gonna go with divorce . While I know I don't deserve to be notified about your decision . I felt I need to let you know, all I want is your happiness . 

             That was why I wanted to talk with you before the divorce get finalized .  Sanskar I could never thank you enough for everything you did for us and I would like it if you always remained like a son to me , no matter how your path diverges from Swara . And Shona I never been Much of a father to you ,but I promise to stand by you this time,   You both  may go now " with the simply statement swara realized her father was done speaking .

           As they drove back to work ,swara mind was kept wondering back to her father words , no one was asking her to give her a marriage a chance , and she didnt know why she felt disappointed that no one tried to talk her out of it . she must have been lost in thoughts that she didn't notice when they reached the office .

            "Swara ,we are here " Sanskar spoke all the awhile wishing he was anywhere but near her . He didn't know his heart could still be hurt , the finality in swara father words  made the divorce seems real ,he had forgotten about it as they spend the time together . Now he felt like a idiot for forgetting about it .

                 Sanskar was thankful they had breakfast at Swara home, since the last thing he wants was to visit her cabin . He needs distance and it was because of that he immersed himself in work that day .

      Swara knew Sanskar was busy , yet her mind kept wandering back to him .She was still getting familiar with her work that she choose to eat her lunch in her cabin till now . But today Keerthi insisted Swara join her .

           When Swara stepped into Keerthi cabin they were already few of her colleagues seated in the couch ,Keerthi introduced her again and swara choosed a small chair to sit . Soon everyone were chatting and awhile swara didn't talk much ,she liked listening to them until one of the topic turned towards Sanskar .

            " Keerthi ,I think now is your time . We had always been rooting for you two to be together ,now that he is getting divorced ." Swara colleague Ankitha was speaking but swara felt like some one stabbed her with out notice .

             The spark of jealousy towards keerthi made her stop eating and glare at her ,not realizing how her actions might be interrupted .

            " I know you also may like him Swara ,and might have thought you got a chance since he eat with you everyday but keerthi will be the one he will choose after all they know each other since college " Ankitha spoke up and Swara gasped at the rudeness in her words.

            " Enough ,Sanskar and I are friends .How many times should I clarify that " Keerthi voice broke out in a commanding tone ,though they ate together it was as if they forgot Keerthi was their immediate boss.

               Swara lost her appetite and quickly made her way back to her cabin , her mind refused to move on from the possibility keerthi might have liked Sanskar and her heart felt the pang of jealousy of losing her Sanskar.

                  Even when she kept saying it was her choice didn't make it easier . An hour later there was knock on her door and Keerthi entered and for the first time swara face didn't break into a smile to greet her. 

              " Swara, you should know by now they are jealous of your friendship with sanskar, I invited you to eat together to reduce the brewing jealousy not hurt you "Keerthi spoke up .

              " It fine keerthi . It doesn't matter ,who Sanskar dates isn't my concern " Swara didn't know how she could say the words out aloud when her heart rebelled against it .

           " I am glad you feel that way , I just wanted to clear the doubt and also I have set up Sanskar with a blind date ,why would I do so if I was interested in him " Keerthi kept speaking but swara mind couldn't move past the blind date ,it must have be evident in her face as Keerthi stopped speaking further. 

              " A date" Swara  managed to speak the two words and waited for keerthi to elaborate

             " Well I thought Sanskar needs to date if he could move past his broken heart ,he went out to meet one of our prominent client for lunch , I got  a call last night ,  he can't make it but will send his daughter instead . I looked into her and she is still single .  I am just wishing they hit it off " Keerthi explained and left swara with a gloomiest mind set .

                " You want him to be happy ,so stop being jealous " She told her raging heart and tried to concentrate on work but couldn't do so till he called her .

    Her face broke into a smile as she answered the call ,and it was her heart which ended up breaking to hear him say ,his meeting was taking longer than he expected ,so shouldn't wait for him to drive her home.

                    Swara didn't realize few tears slipped from her eyes till few minutes later ,she wiped them away ,informed Keerthi she is heading home early and left . For the first time she wondered if working for Sanskar was the right choice for her .

            As she stepped inside her house ,she was greeted to a quarrel between Ragini and her mother .She usually stays away from such arguments .As she was aware of her mother attempts to bring ragini out of her self imposed prison .

         " Come on Ragini ,your father is working late . Why won't you accompany your mother . " Swara mom was speaking that was when Ragini noticed her entering .

         " Your perfect daughter arrived why don't you take her instead " with those words ragini walked back to her room leaving her mom in tears .

           " Mom are you okay " Swara asked as she didn't like the fact her mother  was hurt . 

         " I am fine beta ,you came back early " her mom asked and swara simply nodded her head and would have headed back to her room  .

                Swara wanted to forgot the day events and sleep but her mom had managed to convince her to join her . Swara didn't ask where they were going till she got on the auto

            " I met my fried Latha from college today  , we have drifted apart after college but we used to be best friend and today was her 25 the Wedding Anniversary.  I don't want to be rude and ignore her invite , we won't stay for more than an hour " her mother promised her and Swara simply nodded her head in an answer as her mind was still lost in him .

          Even Swara mom was surprised by the grand house that greeted them , her mom seemed to be unaware of her friends wealth .As they stepped into the house ,mother friend came to greet them and introduced them to her husband and her daughter .

                Swara liked the young girl ,who introduced herself as Aishwarya . They quickly became fast friends ,Swara liked the girl who seemed to talk non stop . And she found herself forgetting the day events as she listened to Aishwarya crush on her father business partner .

              Swara gleamed the girl was infactuated with him after just one encounter, Aishwarya eyes was fixed on the door waiting for his arrival and at times she would ask swara if he would really come as if swara possessed the knowledge but each time Swara found herself assuring her that  he will come .

       Then swara noticed Aishwarya break into a smile as she raced towards the door leaving swara behind . Her mysterious man must have arrived Swara concluded and tried to take a peak into him but he was hidden from her view as Aishwarya family surrounded him .

        " Who is he ?" her mom asked as her friend abandoned her as well .

      " I think a  business partner of Aishwarya dad ,the girl is in love with him when she only met him today "Swara spoke up with a smile that left her face when she heard his voice greeting Aishwarya parents .

              Then she saw him but her eyes seem to be fixated on the girl beside her whose face wasn't visible to swara.   Then she heard him again introducing the girl next to her as his girlfriend .

                   And Swara dropped the glass of juice in her hands at his declaration and the sound of the broken glass brought everyone attention towards her including him , and it was only then she saw the girl next to him . 

                She knew she has no right over him ,she knew she can't be a jealous of Keerthi . Yet swara heart was filled with jealousy that she staggered away from the party hall and headed outside to the garden which Aishwarya pointed towards her few minutes ago .

                   " Swara " the one word from him made her realize he followed her ,she didn't want him to see her like this , she didn't want him to think of her like a jealous wife though that exactly how she felt at the moment . 

                  She slowly turned around to face him and tried in vain to try to act as if nothing happened .

                 " Yes Sanskar " she didn't know why she choose those words . But it seemed appropriate to answer him .

                 " How long you were dating behind my back " the question slipped out and Swara wanted to disappear at his furious glance .She didnt know what made her blurt such accusation . 

                 " Is that what you believe ?" his words lashed at her and she knew she made a huge mistake . 

                " No Sanskar ..I am sorry ,I was just.." swara spoke up she couldn't utter the word jealous ,because she didn't know the reason behind them .

 
                 " You made the choice to not give me a chance swara and you don't get to play the jealous wife " Sanskar words made sense to her mind but her heart refused to accept his coldness towards her .

                  With that Sanskar walked away and Swara was left all alone with her thoughts that consumed her. She left the party soon and spent a sleepless night. 

    
                  She didn't know what made her go to work that day ,because facing Sanskar again after her outburst made her ashamed of the way she accused him last night .

                      But when she entered the office , everyone was talking to someone in whispers until she finally found keerthi who walked towards her . 

                      " He already moved to Mumbai Swara ,he took late night flight last night . And he introduced me as his girlfriend because he wanted to spare Aishwarya ." Keerthi words didn't hold any accusation even when Swara knew it was she who pushed him away .

                   Swara went back to his cabin as if doing so will magically making him reappear.  She simply stood in his cabin when someone knocked to clean up his room ,so keerthi could move in .

               His room didn't have any personal effects ,but she still stood in his room as keerthi belonging were moved ,when one of the boxes fell ,she bent to pick them up and found herself starring at a photo of keerthi it captured her interest as it had Sanskar .

               Then her eyes focused on the girl next to Sanskar , who was leaning on him like she belonged and Swara eyes misted with tears as she realized she was starring at Kavita . The girl who held his heart for a long time .

                   The photo was quickly taken away from her hands from keerthi who glared at her for invading her privacy . 

              " I am sorry , how was she like " swara found herself asking .

              " She was very different from you ,because she will never hurt him just like you did" Keerthi voice echoed in the room and she left leaving swara to contemplate the truth behind her words .
